PRESTON & BLACKPOOL CAT CLUB 24 th March 2018 Dr Bruce Bennett. A busy Show capably produced once again by Judith and her staunch team to whom my thanks for their invitation and felicitations on a job well done. Elaine Brock came to steward once more and again I thank her for her efficiency and friendly companionship. AC GR CH ORIENTAL ADULT MALE. Imp GR CC to ENTWISTLE S SUP GR CH ATHELSTAN SAUVAGE. M. (OSH n 24) 1 yr 4 mth. Very elegant youth with a beautiful even triangular head, super topline, broad between large widely flaring ears, mysterious look in his inclined oriental eyes of green, smooth arching profile, aligned chin of reasonable depth, level bite. Svelte body, proportionate limb and tail. Coat of excellent smooth texture, lying close, showing super spotting on flanks and shoulders, broken spine line, excellent facial tracery and tail ringing. Background might be just a little warmer for preference. AOV SLH PREMIER NEUTER MALE. GR PC to HAWORTH S UK I GR CH & PR DIZZIPAWS BRUCE MN. (RAG n) 11 yr 7 mth. Magnificent looking Seal Colourpointed Ragdoll individual with a magnificent temperament to go with it. Head has stunning appearance with great breadth at the cheekbone level and remarkable width between medium large ears emphasized by his tendency to hold them out when charming his audience, so that when he does this he looks almost flat from ear tip to ear tip, not quite correct but very dramatic. He can however bring them into a more conventional set when they tilt appropriately. Short, strong, deep, broad rounded muzzle. Eyes of size with a benign expression, smoky blue shade. Shallow curve to the profile, aligned chin, strong deep muzzle. Lengthy strong body, proportionate powerful limbs and balanced length of tail. Profuse semi longhair coat with silkiness to it, well developed ruff and trowsers, tufts to the large paws and well furnished tail. Some body shading but good contrast to the seal points. Certainly knows how to sell himself to his audience and of course couldn t be better named. RES GR PC. To TUNSTALL S PR CARELESSWHISKERS

OLLIE. MN. (RAG a) 4 yr 1 mth. Blue Colourpointed Ragdoll. Strong lad of creditable strength and overall development. Head has excellent breadth, with neatly set ears of mid size on a fairly flat plane, tilted and round tipped, large open eyes of mid blue with a slightly alarmed expression, shallow profile curve from the browline to the nose leather, deep aligned chin, level bite. Well grown, powerful, lengthy body, with matching limbs and tail. Good coat for length and accoutrements, texture a little less fine than the winners, good blue points with pale body for pleasing contrast. Also considered. HIGAB S PR NOYNAROCK THEO S STRATHYRE. MN. (NFO ns 09) 1 yr 11 mth. Smoke and White Forest. Very impressive lad with a striking straight profile to his triangular head, ears of medium size set in precise alignment, handsome oval eyes set oblique with a confident expression, pale gold shade in this hall s light. Chin has reasonable strength, bite level. Remarkable whiskers, pity no points for them. Body medium sized with firm musculature, balancing limbs and tail. Well developed double coat with flow and resilience, suitable for a boisterous life in the woodlands. Ruff and knickerbockers in evidence. Well developed silvering at the roots, bright contrasting white. HIRD S PR ELMCOON HARKIN. MN. (MCO d) 5 yr 1 mth. Large strong Red Coon lad with a slightly raffish look.. Head has pleasing proportions, good muzzle squareness, ears well spaced tapering upward, eyes of green shade, spaced and open. Strong profile and chin, gums level. Lengthy strong, mature and muscular body, with limbs and tail proportionate. Double coat, informally presented, good bright red. RAWLINSON S PR ROCKOON JEFFERSON. MN. (MCO ns 22) 1 yr 5 mth. Silver Tabby Coon, still quite youthful. Head well proportioned length to breadth, ears well spaced, flaring a little, tapering, could be a little taller perhaps. Profile shows a slight bump on the brow to nose leather curve, chin forward and deep, incisors level. Huge strong rectangular body with corresponding strength of limbs and length of tail. Excellent double coat with ruff and flowing tail furnishing, blurry tabby patterning. GUISE S PR ELMCOON ZYLO SILVER BULLION. MN. (MCO ns 22) 1 yr 11 mth. Silver Classic Coon, panting a little when we met in the morning but seemed well, broad head, muzzle a little short and needing more square definition for preference, ears could be a little more upright and spacy, lovely pale amber eyes set oblique, generously rounded lower outline, uppers a gentler curve. Shallow curve to the profile from brows to nose, chin forward with good depth, bite just under. Lengthy body with matching length of strong limbs and balancing tail. Coat very well prepared, topcoat flowing softly, lovely ruff and britches, soft silver tabby

patterning. UNWIN S PR BRADSWORTH CHEYSULI MCSIMPLY RED. MN. (MCO d 23) 2 yr 1 mth. Skittish fellow, strongly boned head, good top, tapering, ears well spaced, lovely alert look to his eyes, shallow curve to the profile, strong forward chin, bite a little under. Body of length, slightly spare and looking a little adolescent. Correct double coat, a little unruly when we met. AOV SLH PREMIER NEUTER FEMALE. GR PC to CAMPION S MAGISRAGIS MARIGOLD. FN (RAG f 03) 1 yr 11 mth. Pretty lady, Tortie Bicolour Ragdoll, head nicely proportioned with breadth to it, feminine, rounded muzzle, well spaced ears set up and tilting on a flat top, eyes of good shape and spacing, clear blue shade. Firm feminine body, proportionate limbs and tail. Coat of excellent silken texture with soft ruff evident. Nice tortie mask with modish all-red right ear like a creation to wear at Ascot, symmetrical white correctly placed on the mask. White on limbs and tummy, quite a bit of white on the body mainly around the shoulders. Unusual. AC ORIENTAL PREMIER NEUTER FEMALE. GR PC to MCCORMACK S PR ALDERSTAR SUPERNOVA. FN (OSH k) 2 yr 5 mth. Very attractive Caramel Tortie lady, slightly embattled. Lovely even wedge graced by large ears flaring out, oriental inclined eyes of softish green shade. Excellent smooth profile, just convex, aligned chin, level bite. Lithe body, balancing limbs and tail. Excellent close sleek coat, lovely soft lilac based caramel points sophisticated apricot breaks with soft body contrast. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE CHAMPION ADULT MALE. GR CC to CALLOWAY S CH SIAMAZING SCORCHER. M. (SIA d) 1 yr 1 mth. Very attractive gentleman all round. Balanced wedge with a lovely broad top between large flaring ears, oriental shape to his eyes of good blue shade, looking just a little deep set today but he was a very sleepy lad. Smooth, just convex profile, aligned chin, level bite. Body substantial and firm, length of limb and tail balancing. Warm red points with some body shading but clear contrast. Like the name. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE CHAMPION ADULT FEMALE. GR CC to. GURNEY-TAYLOR S CH TINKERTAYLOR ANGELICA. F. (SIA b) 1 yr 3 wk. Lovely Chocolate Point lass described very recently. Even head with large aligned ears, deep blue eyes, smoothly curved profile, level bite. Dainty and

elegant body, limbs and tail. Slick coat, with excellent milky points, virtually matching, clear pale body contrast. A pleasure to see her again. RED TABBY SERIES MAINE COON ADULT MALE. CC to AGGETT S ISADORYOU 1-HAVE-A-DREAM. M. (MCO d 22) 9 mth 1 wk. Handsome Red Tabby youth. Strong head, still perhaps a little short, muzzle developing. Excellent top, ears with little tufts, tapering upward; eyes open, pale orange shade, could be a little larger for balance. Shallow profile curve, chin well aligned, bite meets. Excellent rectangular, adolescent body with strong limbs, rounded paws and tail of a length to match. Lovely Red Classic double coat, top layer flowing softly, ruff and britches developing. RED TABBY SERIES MAINE COON ADULT FEMALE. CC to LISTER S COONARIA ADELE. F. (MCO f 03 22) 1 yr 2 wk. Attractive Tortie Tabby and White lady, head well proportioned length to breadth, muzzle squared, ears upright and one ears breadth between, tapering. Inclined amber toned eyes, could be a little more open. Correct profile curve, chin well forward, incisors level. Lengthy adolescent body matched by limbs and super lengthy tail. Topcoat soft and silky, glowing tortie over the tabby, neat white paws, a little short of white underneath but it is there. BoB LAWSON S I GR CH ISADORYOU DRAMA QUEEN. F. (MCO f 03 22) 4 yr 6 mth. Mature lady, also Tortie Tabby and White, with a head of very balanced length to breadth proportions, muzzle outlines clear, super, open green eyes, just on the oblique, shallow profile curve, firmly aligned chin, level bite. Body lengthy and rectangular, powerful limbs and balanced tail of length. Full double coat, tortie tabby and white, with ruff, britches and flowing tail. SIBERIAN ADULT. CC & BoB to BURNESS S MUSRAFY YURI GAGARIN. M. (SIB n 23) 10 mth 2 wk. Tabby Siberian, very impressive despite his youth. Head broad with very good strength of cheekbones already, sweeping wide and pointing earward, slung heavy; muzzle broad and rounded, ears set apart and in the lines of the head. Eyes full almonds in shape, gently inclined, well apart, sleepy today. Profile curves from a high forehead. Chin well aligned, bite level. Body already quite substantial with strong, mid length limbs to support it, not that he was inclined to stand up much, tapering tail of good length. Attractive coat, not yet fully developed, with more undercoat to come, the tabby well defined as a result of the slightly shorter length. Also considered for BoB. LUBY S I GR CH MUSRAFY

MIKOYAN. M. (SIB ns 03 11) 1 yr 10 mth. Silver Shaded and White. More mature lad, with a very pleasing breadth of head, ears set well apart upon it, cheek boning evident without quite the substance of the younger lads. Muzzle a little dainty and fine. Excellent large expressive eyes set just oblique. Profile curves from the brows as desired, tiny rise just above the nose leather, chin has depth but slopes away a little, incisors level. Very large body, heavy and strong, with powerful limbs and balancing length of tapered tail. Dramatic silver coat with delicate shadings, superbly presented, but at present rather lacking in the undercoat to give the appropriate resilience, AOC MAINE COON (EXCLUDING TABBY) NEUTER MALE. PC. HOLDEN S CH ANGEZARKE AZLAN THE KING. MN. (MCO d 03) 2 yr 8 mth. Red and White lad with a well proportioned head, innocent expression in his rounded, open eyes, tapering ears held aloft. Shallow curve to his profile, strong chin, level bite. Body lengthy, a little slender, limbs and tail proportionate. Double coat with the top layer flowing softly from the spine down his flanks, ruff, britches and furnished tail, bright red accessoried with white. BoB to HIRD S PR ELMCOON HARKIN. MN. (MCO d) 5 yr 2 mth. (See above) Also considered for BoB. HARLING & RICHARDSON S GR PR BRILTHOR BARTLOEE FN (MCO a) 8 yr 3 mth. a very handsome self blue lady, who was a senior and made it clear that she was not inclined for social niceties. What we saw of her looked very nice indeed however. AC BI-COLOUR RAGDOLL NEUTER. PC to DINSDALE S DIZZIEPAWS TUTTI FRUTTI. FN. (RAG n 03) 10 mth 3 wk. Seal Bicolour. Substantial girl for her young age. Head well proportioned with ears spaced on a flat top and set well, tilted and round at the tips. Eyes large, spaced, would prefer a little more depth of blue. Shallow profile curve, chin well forward, rounded outline, bite meets. Heavy body, sturdy limbs, balancing length of tail. Mid length coat, dense and of the required silky texture, symmetrical inverted V on mask, white correct on fore and hind limbs and on understories. BoB. CAMPION S PR MAGISRAGIS MARIGOLD. FN (RAG f 03) 1 yr 11 mth. (See above) FOREIGN WHITE ADULT. CC & BoB SIMPSON S FLUTTERBY WHITE DRAGONESS. (SIA w 67) 10 mth 3 wk. Wriggly and definitely a soprano but otherwise not at all dragony. Good type all round, even wedge head, ears flared in line, oriental eyes with depth of

blue to them. Excellent smooth profile, chin curves away slightly, bite meets. Lengthy, slender adolescent body, matching limbs and tail. Excellent close, clear, white coat. Nice to see a member of this breed once more. ORIENTAL BLACK ADULT. CC & BoB. RATHBONE S BELLIS WILLOUGHBY. M. (OSH n) 9 mth 3 wk. Youth of sound type, even wedge with well placed and flared ears, Straight profile, level chin and bite. Body lengthy, slender and firm with balancing limbs and tail. Excellent close coat, gleaming sound black. I did hesitate a bit as his eyes lack intensity of colour but found some green round the pupils. ORIENTAL TICKED TABBY ADULT. BoB. to WALLACE S GR CH BAROUSHKA SOLOSTAR. F. (OSH n 25) 2 yr 8 mth. Lovely lass of excellent type and pattern. Even wedge, well placed and flared ears of balanced size, oriental shape and incline to eyes of clear light green. Elegant profile, level bite. Lithe body, proportionate limbs and tail. Coat lies close and sleek, beautiful even ticking over the body, faint coalescence over spine, facial tracery, double unbroken necklaces. Most attractive. AC MAINE COON ADULT. 1. LAWSON S I GR CH ISADORYOU DRAMA QUEEN. F. (MCO f 3 22) 4 yr 6 mth (See above) 2. LISTER S COONARIA ADELE. F. (MCO f 03 22) 1 yr 2 wk.(see above) AV SLH ADOLESCENT ADULT. 1. BURGESS S MUSRAFY YURI GAGARIN M. (SIB n 23) 10 mth 2 wk. (See above) 2. MORRIS S ADJULSL POSHPAWS MAYA. F. (RAG n 03) 11 mth 1 wk. Seal Bicolour Ragdoll. Broad head, neat spaced ears tilting on the flat top. Deep blue eyes, curving profile, aligned chin and level bite. Body, limbs and tail in balance. Coat a lovely ball of silken fluff, white on fore and hind limbs correctly distributed, clear inverted V on seal mask symmetrical. 3. TUNSTALL S CARELESSWHISKERS MONTY. M. (RAG a 03) 1 yr 1 wk. Blue Bicolour Ragdoll.. AV SLH MAIDEN KITTEN. 1. SIMPSON S BRYNDLEY S NOTHIN-COMPARES-TO-YOU. F. (RAG n 04) 7 mth 1 wk. Sweet little Seal Mitted lady, head nicely conformed, ears spaced on the flat top, tilting gently, large eyes of mid blue. Strong little body, limbs and tail

in keeping. Excellent coat for silky texture. Left white sock doesn t quite reach hock, other white markings correct. 2. ROGERS DARKTOWER DEMELZA. FN. (MCO ns 22) 5 mth 2 d. Appealing Silver Classic Coon child. Head still rather wedge shaped, requiring definition of the muzzle to develop. Profile rather straight, chin aligned and bite also. Neat body with proportionate limbs and tail. Attractive coat, guard hair layer developing, pleasing silver behind the tabby. AC ORIENTAL LIMIT ADULT. 1. WALLACE S SERAPIS ADONIS-AT-KHARDAGIA. M. (OSH e) 1 yr 3 mth. Striking lad, long even wedge, large aligned ears, eyes of green with an extravagantly oriental incline making them look marginally deep set. Super profile, a smooth gentle convexity, aligned chin, level bite. Lengthy strong body, balancing limbs and tail. Coat lies beautifully close and smooth, very warm for cream with a few metallic touches on the faint forehead tracings. AC ORIENTAL SELF KITTEN. 1. GURNEY-TAYLOR S FIORDILISO TINKERTAYLOR TILDA. F. (OSH b) 6 mth 4 wk. Dainty Havana Miss, reported on in detail very recently. My observations are as then. AC ORIENTAL KITTEN OVER 6 MTHS. 1. CASSAR-SIMMONDS FIORDILISO SATANIC VERSES. F. (OSH f) 6 mth 4 wk. Very typy girl reported on very recently, lack of red intensity in the breaks in the black of her sleek coat is her only minor drawback, otherwise splendid. AC ORIENTAL SELF NEUTER. 1. BOSTOCK & BOOTH S MAZPAHS TERMINATOR. MN. (OSH d) 1 yr 6 mth. Red lad who was not enjoying his day and would have preferred to spend it under his blanket (not quite living up to his name!). Even wedge head on which the ears are very well placed and flared, oriental eyes with a pleading expression, green could be a little deeper ideally. Coat has good close texture and depth of red, but at this point we took pity on him and tucked him in where he felt secure. AC ORIENTAL NON-SELF NEUTER. 1. MOORE S FIROUSI GOLD DUST. FN. (OSH h 03 33) 2 yr 2 wk Chocolate Tortie Pointed Bicolour. Very attractive girl from what we could see of her as

she was seriously embattled. Even wedge head, with ears set well. Oriental yes of good blue, flashing bolts of lightning hither and thither, like a Valkyrie. Excellent straight profile. Strong body, limbs and tail. Chocolate tortie with bright white but discretion militated against detailed inspection to determine the proportions and distribution. AC ORIENTAL NEUTER NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR. 1. MCCORMACK S PR ALDERSTAR SUPERNOVA. FN. (OSH k) 2 yr 5 mth. (See above) 2. BOSTOCK & BOOTH S MAZPAHS TERMINATOR. MN. (OSH d) 1 yr 7 mth. (See above) AC ORIENTAL ARICTOCRAT NEUTER. 1. BOSTOCK & BOOTH S MAZPAHS TERMINATOR. MN. (OSH d) 1 yr 7 mth. (See above) AC ORIENTAL NEUTER WHICH HAS NOT WON A PC, IC OR MERIT. 1.. CALLOWAY S CH SIAMAZING SCORCHER. M. (SIA d) 1 yr 1 mth. (See above) AC SIAMESE 32 SERIES NEUTER. 1. GLAUBITZ S UK I GR PR LITTLEFEAT DISTANT THUNDER. MN. (SIA d) 8 yr 9 mth. Dignified senior Red Point lad who has had a very distinguished career. I was pleased to have met him again as I learned later that this was probably his last outing. Balanced head with large ears aligned well and flaring becomingly, left bearing his usual trademark. Wise eyes showing oriental incline with depth of blue. Profile nearly straight, aligned chin, three huge sabred canines. Long mature body matching limbs and tail. Coat a little long, good contrast between red points and body. Delicious nose freckling. Wonderful temperament as befits one of his distinction. 2. WHITEHEAD S KEVELS PIPKIN. MN. (SIA d) 9 mth 1 wk. Nice little person, at the other end of the age spectrum, only 8 days

from kittenhood and correspondingly immature. Wedge neat and even, marginally narrow as yet, innocent oriental blue eyes, ears of good size, tending to hold them up. Good profile, level bite. Body still immature, limbs and tail proportionate. Very delicate red to his points at present, excellent clear pale warm white body coat of very lovely close, smooth texture. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE NEUTER WHICH HAS NOT WON A PC, IC OR MERIT. 1. WHITEHEAD S KEVELS PIPKIN. MN. (SIA d) 9 mth 1 wk.. (See above) AC SIAMESE/BALINESE SENIOR NEUTER. 1.. GLAUBITZ S UK I GR PR LITTLEFEAT DISTANT THUNDER. MN. (SIA d) 8 yr 9 mth. (See above) AV SLH ADULT MALE. 1. EDWARDS CH DARKTOWER ZIGGY STARDUST. M. (MCO n 03 22) 2 yr 3 mth. Personable Coon fellow with a well proportioned head, tapering, held up ears, bold eyes ( rather tetchy), shallow profile curve, full rounded chin and level bite. Lengthy rectangular body, powerful limbs, round tufted paws, tail balancing. Double coat, in good condition, Classic Tabby and White. 2. BATES REDROSE OBERON. M. (MCO n 03 22) 3 yr 5 mth. Massive mature Classic and White Coon, also tetchy, Strong, head, muzzle needing a little more square definition ideally, otherwise conforms. Has considerable presence(!).
