PRESTON & BLACKPOOL CAT CLUB 24 th March BruceBennett Congratulations to Judith Mercer for piloting this Show home so successfully. It was a most enjoyable event, and many thanks to the Club for their invitation. I enjoyed the company of Kristina Mullineaux very much; very new to stewarding she proved a most efficient and congenial companion and I look forward to working with her in the future. AV ORIENTAL GRAND CHAMPION MALE. 1. (Imp GR CC Withheld). CHIVERS GR CH DEDANNAN TREASUREME. M. (37n) 2yrs 9mths. Lovely big strong lad with a short wedge head, tiny pinch, ears set well, would prefer them a little larger to balance, nice oriental, inclined eyes of good shape, olive in shade. Profile shows a slight slope brow to muzzle, chin rounding off, bite meets, beginning to show masculine jowls. Excellent lengthy strong body with matching limbs, tail could be a little longer for balance. Very good close sound coat of typical, even, sludgy caramel. I have always liked him a great deal, but at this dizzy altitude he lacks the ultimate style and polish. AV SIAMESE/BALINESE GRAND PREMIER FEMALE. 1. (Imp GR CC Withheld). WEATHERILL S GR PR BURNTHWAITES GOOD-TIME- GAL. FN. (32b1) 1yr 7mths. Most pleasing gal, with a sharply pointed, equilateral head, slight pinch evident. Large ears, well flared in line, excellent oriental shape and incline to her eyes of a good blue shade. Profile shows a shallow angle at the brow below a flat forehead, then straight to the nose leather; chin is quite shallow, though sufficiently forward, incisors meet scissored over. Body long and lithe, limbs to match, tail just reaches shoulders. Coat a little long and slightly open, seal points well broken by various reds, some tortie body shading but sufficient contrast. Attractive, but not yet ready for this stratospheric award. ORIENTAL SPOTTED TABBY ADULT FEMALE.

1. CC. BoB. BROWN S SYBELLA STARAPPEAL. F. (38n) 13mths. Young lady with a lovely firm, even wedge head, large ears set in line, excellent shape to her oriental eyes of good green. Profile shows a slight angle at the bridge, straight planes above and below. Slender body, matching limbs and tail that has a tiny terminal expansion. Very good texture to her coat; pattern shows soft forehead M, eye lines, faint necklaces, good tail rings and bracelets, with well developed flank spotting, some linkage, all in a sophisticated soft warm tone, perhaps needing a little more obvious contrast to the ground shade ideally. ORIENTAL SPOTTED TABBY KITTEN MALE. 1. BoB. BAUERFEIND S SHIMILEETA INYOUR DREAMS. M. (38n) 6mths 4wks.Timid lad, with a strong even wedge head, good breadth at the top between well placed open ears, oriental incline to his almond shaped olive green eyes. Excellent straight profile, curving chin, incisors level. Strong body with limbs to match, tail just long enough for balance. Coat shows lovely taupe spotting on the body, broken spine line already, forehead scarab, cheek lines, necklaces and bracelets with fairly good contrast to the background in spite of the dilute colour. ORIENTAL SPOTTED TABBY KITTEN FEMALE. 1. HIRST S SHIMILEETA SERENDIPITY. F. (38) 5mths 1wk. Dainty lady of type and style, long feminine wedge, wee pinch at present, ears well aligned, could be a little more spaced for preference, good oriental eyes of green tone.. Good straight profile, chin rather shallow and sloping back, bite meets. Slender body with matching limbs, tail just balancing. Slick coat, spotting a little better defined than when last seen but still needs clearer contrast to the background, considerable surface ticking still evident. Facial tracing, two nice broken necklaces, leg bracelets, some tail ringing appearing. HAVANA NEUTER. BoB. LINTON-SINCLAIR S GR PR TRELGANDORF TRADITIONAL. MN. (29) 2yrs 1mth. Lengthy stylish lad, long even wedge head, good green shade to his inclined oriental eyes, casts right one intermittently but this is not sustained, good sized ears in alignment, sometimes tilted a little forward. Excellent straight profile, chin slopes away a little but muzzle has depth to it, bite level.

Long long lithe body with proportionate length of limbs, tail straining to match it all. Coat of excellent close texture and commendable soundness, glossy rather dark, even chestnut. SEAL POINT ADULT FEMALE. BoB. REID S CH PALMIRA MAYGIRL. F. (24) 14mths 2wks. Pleasing lady with a long wedge, slight pinch to it, good shade of blue to her oriental eyes, large flared ears set well. Very good profile, muzzle perhaps a little shallow, but chin lines up and bite meets. Long slender body and limbs with tail to match. Excellent smooth coat lying close, dense seal points, body showing rather cool shading to match. LILAC POINT ADULT. 1. CC. BoB. SHORE S ROYSTERER WINTERS KNIGHT. M. (24c) 9mths 1wk. Comely youth with a long wedge, marginal pinch still present, good large, flaring ears set well in line, almond eyes, inclined and of good blue shade. Profile a smooth very gentle arch, good muzzle depth, chin curving slightly, level bite. Long firm body and limbs, still adolescent but strong with it, tail might be just a little longer ideally. Excellent close short coat showing very good pinkish grey points as desired with very good unsullied magnolia body for super contrast. CHOCOLATE POINT NEUTER. BoB. CALLOWAY S PR DRESTOTHRIL DAQUARI. MN. (24b) 17mths. Mouthy boy of very good type, long pointed wedge head, even lines to it, adorned by large ears flaring becomingly, oriental eyes of violet blue shade, well shaped and inclined. Long strong body, limbs and tail balancing. Very good close lying coat, points of bitter chocolate shade that has some warmth to it, mask almost complete, a little pallor still in the moustache area, stunning clear ivory coat for contrast. AC MAINE COON CAT. 1. HOPKINS CH DRAGONMAINE SHADESLAYER. M. (64 41aw). 1/6/08. 3yrs 9mths. Blue Classic Tabby and White. Huge fellow, of childlike temperament, rolling about provocatively and wanting to play. Massively boned head of good

length to breadth proportions. Great breadth between ears and upper skull makes the muzzle, which is of uniform width and has the correct square boning and cheekbone outline, look marginally short but this is very minor. Width of skull between ears also confers a slight flare to them, but when interested they are held upright; they show desired taper and furnishings. Eyes are pleasingly rounded, open and alert when attention engaged, showing slight obliquity in their set. Profile shows the desired shallow concave curve from the bridge, muzzle shows excellent masculine depth, chin lines up well, bite level. Very good, very large, powerful, rectangular body with strong matching limbs ending in large round tufted paws, with a lengthy, profusely furnished tail. Double coat full and flowing with graded lengths down back and over flanks and tail, blue surface layer just a little dry textured, shaggy under tummy, attractive colour to the tabby pattern that is fairly well defined, with good bright white paws and underparts for contrast. Well developed ruff and breeches. 2. I GR CH HARTSCOON AYLA OFBEARDWOOD. F t yrs 1mth. Brown Tabby and White. Senior lady of solemn temperament and sound overall type, slightly short of coat at present. Head shows good overall length to breadth proportions. Muzzle correct in its square boning and cheek bone outline, perhaps a little less in length than that from bridge to ear line. Very good tall tapering ears, correctly spaced on the skull, well tufted and internally furnished. Eyes oblique in set though could for preference be held a little more full and rounded; she declined to open them well today despite strenuous efforts at beguilement, presenting a consistently heavy lidded, rather almond shaped look. Profile only just shows a concave curve that could be more clearly defined ideally. Muzzle has depth to it and chin lines up, though could be a little broader, bite level. Body well developed and rump square in outline, limbs proportionate, round, feathered paws, tail reaches shoulders. Coat of good texture, the glossy top coat just a little even in length on the body and flanks, double layering evident, at present very little ruff to frame the head, and breeches very demure; attractive well contrasted brown tabby pattern clearly defined on forehead and cheeks, body and tail, appropriately distributed sparkling white. 3. SPIRRITZ FIRE ON ICE. M. (64 31d) mths 2wks. Red and White

AC NORWEGIAN FOREST KITTEN. 1. EMERY S NOYNAROCK SOL-VEIG. F. (67 31et) 19wks. Tortie Tabby and White. Very nice lass with a triangular head, large ears well furnished and set in alignment, eyes a little rounded as wide-eyed and watchful, but basically of oval shape and set on the incline. Very good straight profile, chin slopes slightly, incisors straining to meet. Strong body for age, standing tall on kitten limbs, rounded feathered paws, balancing length of tail. Kitten coat developing well, guard hairs already clearly in evidence, brown tortie tabby with pleasing white. AC MAINE COON NEUTER. 1. BURGESS S Imp GR PR. KASSARO CISCOKID. MN. (64 41w) 2yrs 10mths. Brown Classic Tabby and White. Large gentleman with head showing correct length to breadth ratio, very clearly squared muzzle defined at the cheek bones, excellent tall tapering, tufted ears, well spaced, full, rounded eyes, set just on the oblique slope. Nose of even width, profile a concave curve from the brow line with just a slight final dip to the nose leather, chin slopes away, bite meets. Huge strong body squared outline, long sweepingly furnished tail. Profuse coat, glossy topcoat, shaggy undercoat and belly, classic pattern with correctly distributed clear white. 2. MAWSON S PR FINIKA PRINCE CASPIAN. MN. (64 31t) 5yrs 19mths. Classic Tabby and White. Boy with a head of correct length to breadth proportions, square muzzle boning disguised by copious whisker pads and adjacent soft tissues, ears spaced and held upright, showing taper and tufted furnishing, good full round eyes with a bright expression. Shallow profile curve to short nose, chin forward and soft tissues showing full outline curving out forward below the nose then back below the mandible which lines up as desired, bite level. Big, strongly boned, rectangular body, similarly boned limbs, rounded paws, tail length matches. Double coat, graded length topcoat, shaggy undercarriage, ruff and breeches, classic and white pattern fairly clear. 3. HOLDEN S PR WISCASSET JAK FROST. MN. (64 14b) 2yrs 3mths. Odd Eyed White. AC NORWEGIAN FOREST NEUTER. 1. EMERY S NOYNAROCK SAMBA. MN. (67 31dt) 1yr 11mths. Red Tabby and White. Handsome individual, with a triangular head, inclined almond shaped

eyes, open ears following the head lines. Super straight profile, chin a little shallow, bite level. Strongly muscled body, lengthy limbs, longer hinds, ending in rounded tufted paws, tail length balancing. Full double coat, coarser overcoat with woolly underlayer and tummy, knickerbockers and ruff, bushy tail. Brilliant red pattern standing well against the bright white. 2. WHITTLE S NOYNAROCK SIR THOMAS. MN. (67 31) 16mths 1wk. Black and White. Another very handsome neuter with a good even triangular head, broad top between ears that follow head lines, might be a little larger perhaps, eyes slightly on the rounded side of ideal, oblique in set. Straight profile beneath a tiny short tuft of hair at the bridge, chin lines up quite well, bite meets. Body long, substantial and strong, correct length of limbs, excellent long tail to base of neck. Double coat, coarse overcoat, woolly beneath, excellent full ruff and bib, knickerbockers and bushy tail. Shiny black with contrasting whites. 3. BREWOOD S NOYNAROCK GUSTAV-EMIL. MN. (67 31) 12mths 2wks. Black and White. AC NORWEGIAN FOREST NEUTER. PART WHITTLE S GR PR NORSVANA SILVER SAPPHIRA. FN. (67 31ats) 6yrs 8mths. Blue Silver Tabby and White. Handsome senior lady with a short even triangular head, furnished ears spaced and set to follow, broad cheekbones, lovely obliquely inclined almond shaped eyes of pale green. Profile virtually straight, strong deep muzzle, bite meets. Very large, strong, lengthy, mature body, good length of limb, tail just to shoulders, might be slightly longer ideally. Very full double coat with glossy coarse overcoat on the back with super ruff development and knickerbockers, woolly undercoat, striking blue silver tabby and white pattern. 2. EMERY S PR SKOGVENNS MOUNTAIN ASH. FN. (67 31s) 1yr 8mths. Black Smoke and White. Lady with a broad triangular head, ears of mid size set to follow, eyes rounded ovals, set on the oblique, very good straight profile, muzzle of depth, chin lining up, incisors meet. Medium sized, strong body and limbs of length, tail balancing, reaching shoulder blades. Lovely, full, double, smoke and white coat with required accessories in place, profuse bushy tail. 3. LEESE S Imp GR PR. SHANLIVLE DELTA. FN. (67 22) 4yrs 11mths. Tortie and White. Lovely as ever and described in detail very recently. Even triangular head, smallish ears set just so, clear pale green eyes of almond shape and oblique set. Excellent straight

profile, chin sloping a little, level bite. Body of medium size, proportionate limbs and tail. Undercoat seemed a little less full and woolly than when seen recently, but tortie and white overcoat full. To follow the theme from my NFCC Show Report, she seemed a little preoccupied today. Had probably been very busy charming everyone, and couldn t wait to get back to the palace, stow the hat and kick off the shoes and was hoping wistfully that the darned butler would have the drinks tray ready. AC ORIENTAL CAT BRED BY EXHIBITOR. 1. KLOKOW S SKYBLUEPINK LEO. M. (37fn) 11mths 4wks. Elegant chap with a fine wedge needing a touch more breadth at its top between ears that follow its lines, oriental eyes held a little open. Very good straight profile, chin lines up, bite meets. Well balanced body, limbs and tail. Coat of very good texture, an even dusty apricot, with commendable absence of tabby ghosting. Just adult and lacking a little masculine oomph at present. 2. HIRST S TOGHAR FAWNTASIA. F. (37r) 9mths 0wks. Elegant lass with sparky temperament. Very good head type, balanced triangle with ears set in alignment and good green oriental eyes. Arched profile, level bite. Lithe body, limbs and tail in keeping. Superb coat texture, close and feeling like satin, colour a dull mushroom, unfortunately at present quite unsound which determined the placing, AC ORIENTAL CAT NOT BRED BY EXHIBITOR. 1. CHIVERS GR CH DEDANNAN TREASURE ME. M. (37n) 2yrs 9mths. 2. BROWN S SYBELLA STARAPPEAL. F. (38n) 13mths 0wk. 3. BAUERFEIND S CH TOGHAR RHYTHM-N-BLUES. M. (37a) 16mths 1wk. AC ORIENTAL SELF NEUTER. 1. HALLIDAY S PR TOGHAR ONCE IN A BLUE MOON. MN. (37a) 1yr 11mths. Pleasing laddie with a long, slightly pinched wedge, large ears set in line, excellent green to his oriental eyes. Smooth profile outline, chin slopes back, bite level. Elegant slender body with proportionate limbs and tail that has a little twizzle. Excellent close, sound blue coat, some white hairs on shoulder looking like a response to injury. AC ORIENTAL LH NEUTER.

1. McCALLUM S SPECKLEDWOOD OF PUDDHAS PALACE. MN. (49 40) 1yr 10mths. Strong fellow with masculine presence. He has an imposing even wedge head, large ears set to follow, oriental eyes of good blue. Arrogant straight profile, chin aligned, bite meets. Firm body and limbs, tail balancing, tiny terminal irregularity. Coat of satiny texture, length developing, seal points, impressive inverted V of white on muzzle, with white on neck, shoulders, chest and undercarriage. Nice to meet this lad. AC ORIENTAL JUNIOR NEUTER. 1. HALLIDAY S PR TOGHAR ONCE INA BLUE MOON. MN. (37a) 1yr 11mths. 2. WEBSTER S NANPEMA FIDELIO. MN. (37d) 10mths 3wks. Described in detail recently, good green eyes, rich red coat with impressive (if unnecessary!) tabby markings. 3. MULLINEAUX MULLSI FOREST FLAME. MN. (37d) 13mths 2wks. Boy of fine type, even wedge, very good incline to his almond shaped oriental eyes, muddy green shade, ears set in line. Very good straight profile, chin a little shallow, bite meets. Slender body, limbs and tail matching. Good rich red coat. Needs a little more masculinity. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE CAT THAT HAS NOT WON A CERTIFICATE. 1. PALMER S STYPERSON SONG BIRD. F. (32 1) 10mthd 0wks. Outstanding girl with a graceful long wedge, tiny pinch there, lovely wide set ears flared becomingly, mysterious eyes of oriental shape and inclined set, deep blue. Arching profile, chin slopes slightly, level bite. Long lithe body with limbs and tail matching. Good clear seal tabby points pattern, body showing soft shading, but good contrast retained. Later Best Siamese, Congratulations. 2. SHORE S ROYSTERER WINTERS KNIGHT. M. (24c) 9mths 1wk. 3. GREEN S TOGHAR PERSEPHONE. F. (24r) 9mths 1wk. AC SIAMESE/BALINESE CHAMPION/GRAND CHAMPION. 1. JOHNSON S ROYSTERER SULALAYA-ICELORD. M. (24c) 2yrs 1mth. Big strong gentleman with a shorter, even triangular head, on which ears are nicely set, wary oriental eyes of good blue tone. Excellent straight profile, muzzle a little shallow chin sloping back slightly, bite meets. Big strong body with matching limbs and tail that could be a little longer for preference. Excellent condition of coat, points warm, a shade darker than the competition s but still very good,

very good magnolia body contrast, hints of shading beginning to appear with maturity. AC SIAMESE 32 SERIES KITTEN. 1. CLEGG S TSAICHIN DOLLYMIXTURES. F. (32b3) 8mths 1wk. Very pretty tortie girl, even wedge, large flared ears, oriental eyes just a little deep set, strong smooth profile arch, chin a little shallow at present, very irregular incisors. Elegant body and limbs, tail in keeping. Smooth coat shows mid chocolate points broken in various reds 2. JOHNSON S SULALAYA ICEWARRIOR MN. (32b4) 7mths 0wks.
