SOUTH WESTERN COUNTIES CAT CLUB 23 SEPTEMBER 2O17 MRS SYLVIA ROSE. My sincere thanks to Jane, Carol and the rest of the team for the hard work involved in preparing for this excellent show. I had a most enjoyable day with some lovely cats and my superb steward, Carole Jones, who was a pleasure to work with. IMP CLASS AC Neutered Male. 1 entered. IMP SAUNDERS GR PR JANAGAR YARRUM MURRAY, (BUR n). 1 year 1 month 3 weeks. Sound asleep but quite relaxed about being woken up. A short, blunt wedge shape to the head just broad enough. Generous depth in the head, definite nose break on a nose rolling off a touch at the tip, level, deep chin. Medium sized ears, broad based, round tipped, continue the lines of the face. Palish yellow eyes, beautifully shaped, widely placed. A large, long, heavy and muscular body. Proportionate, long legs with medium, oval paws; Tail of correct length and thickness tapering gently at the rounded tip. Gorgeous coat, very short, soft and close lying, a rich even, mid/dark brown, glowing with health. Shown in superb physical condition. GRAND CLASS AC BURMESE CHAMPION MALE. 1 entered. GCC MARRIOT- POWER & MARRIOTT S CH ROSSIKHAN YAMBU, (BUR c) 11 months 1 week. Confidently waiting for his big moment! Head shows a short, broad, wide wedge shape, gently curved dome between medium ears which continue the outer lines of the head. Eyes are large, widely placed and show the desired Burmese shape, golden yellow, expressive. Body is elegantly slender. Supported on slim legs, small, oval paws. Correct length and thickness to the slightly tapering tail. Coat is short, fine and close lying to enhance the warm, even, pale lilac colouring. A handsome fellow with a friendly character. FEMALE. 1 entered. GCC BONE S CH RAWEKE ETHEREAL BEAUTY, (BUR b) 1 year 2 weeks. A beautiful girl, she caught my eye when I first walked along the Burmese line-up. Super head proportions with slightly rounded dome between well set and shaped ears of moderate size. Clear, golden yellow eyes, large, well shaped and widely set, expressive and watchful. Shapely body with a firmly muscled feel, slim legs, small, dainty, oval feet. Coat is a warm, pale chocolate with minimal darkening on the face, soft and fine, close lying, short. She appeared very happy to be handled. I understand today s award made her up to Grand so congratulations to her owner and breeder.
ASIAN TIFFANIE ADULT. 1 entered for BOB only. BRUCE-GARDNER S CH FRILFORD CHATAIGNE. (ALH bs 25), 1 year 6 months 1 week. Pleasing head shape viewed from the front, medium sized, ears, large eyes, well spaced, in today s light the deep gold showing a coppery tone. Profile shows sufficient depth in the skull, fair nose break on a nose rolling off at the tip; chin just a little shallow. Moderate sized body of fair weight standing on strong legs, medium, rounded paws. Developing tiffanie coat with light ticking, slightly uneven, pale chocolate on a silver base. I dislike with-holding but today this gentle girl did not appear to be showing herself at her best. ASIAN SMOKE or BURMILLA ADULT. 1 entered for BOB only. BOB MATTHEW S GR CH KATCHYN ICEDTEA (ASH ns 11 31) 1 year 4 months 2 weeks. Looking calm and relaxed, a smart girl. Well balanced, short, blunt wedge shaped head with pleasing breadth at the jaw hinge and over the gently curving dome. Good set, shape and size to the ears and to the yellow eyes with green rims. Body large, heavy and with a muscular feel, supported on slim legs, small, oval paws. Tail tapers gently towards the dark brown tip. Quality coat is short, fine, close lying and soft, lightly shaded with brown over a sparkling, silver undercoat. Friendly, happy to be handled. ASIAN TABBY, (Spotted, Classic, Mackerel or Ticked) ADULT MALE. 1 entered for BOB only. BOB LOVELL S CH CHAMORE KENNBURY CORNELIUS (ASH d 25} 2 years 2 weeks. A very masculine look to this boy. Blunt wedge shape to the head with generous width at the jaw hinge and over the dome. Good depth to the skull in profile, definite nose break on a nose not quite straight at the tip. Heavy, large, muscular body, strong, slender legs, medium, oval feet. Tail correct length for balance. Short, close lying coat shows an attractive richness with bright, tangerine ticking and leg bars, paler orange base. Such a good tempered lad! FEMALE. 1 entered plus 1 for BOB. 1 CC LOVELL S KENNBURY RUGS HONFLEUR ( ASH h 25) 9 months 5 days. A busy lady enjoying her day out, good to look at and a super character. Head has a short, blunt wedge with breadth at the jaw hinge and over the dome between medium/large ears which follow the lines of the face and tilt forward. Large, expressive eyes placed wide. Very good profile with depth in the head and in the level chin. In spite of her youth a mature appearance to the large, firmly muscled body. Slender legs with proportionate paws. Smart coat, very short, close lying and fine, pale chocolate with varying shades of creamy red, rich tones to the base coat. A girl that would be fun to live with, she was determined to entertain us. TONKINESE ADULT. 1 entered for BOB only. BOB MC NALLY-ROBERT S IGR CH TONKYWAY IO months. Female. ( TOS a 32) 5 years 5 months 3 weeks. A well built, well muscled lady with a mature, balanced appearance. Ears in proportion, broad based, medium/large, correctly set. Large, almond shaped
eyes pale blue/green. Short, very soft coat showing a subtle merging between the pale, blue-grey body tones and minimally darker points. Beautifully behaved but she gave me the impression she was not totally relaxed today. TONKINESE BURMESE COLOUR RESTRICTION ADULT. 1 entered for BOB only. BOB McNALLY-ROBERTS GR CH TITANTONKS NEMESIS NEAERA (TOS c 31) 1 year 3 months 4 weeks. I loved this stylish girl s nature, so gentle and friendly. Well formed and muscled, correct facial features, the large, mid yellow eyes being open almond shape, most expressive. Beautiful texture to the short, close fitting coat, even in tone, paling slightly to the underparts. TONKINESE COLOURPOINTED PATTERN ADULT MALE. 1 entered for BOB only. 1 CC SINGLETON S PHABBAY GALACTIC COMET (TOS b 33) 10 months. An alert, curious boy; Head shows a moderate wedge, just a little pointed in the muzzle today, broad based ears, slightly taller than wide, tilting forward. Eyes open almond shape, the upper line slanting towards the nose. Large body, feeling well muscled and heavier than his age would suggest; slender legs, small oval feet, gently tapering tail of a length to balance. Soft, fine coat, near ivory in tone, definitely darker on the points, a dark chocolate. A lovely boy to handle today. SINGAPURA ADULT 2 entered for BOB only. BOB BROOKS GR CH JANAMEL CAHAYA ROSE. Female 3 years 1 week. A lovely girl with the most forlorn expression, rounded lines to the head, broad at eye level. Slight whisker break and short, blunt muzzle. Nose is short with a slight stop, blunt at the tip. Large ears set wide apart, deep cupped, the outer lines just wide of parallel. Large, widely placed green eyes. Medium size to the firmly muscled body, small, oval feet on proportionate legs. Short tail. Silky feel to the short, close lying coat, golden ivory with bands of sepia ticking. Correct markings include dark rims to eyes and nose, cheetah lines and, on the legs spurs, faint bars on the knees, darker bars inside the front legs. Dark tip to the tail. Also JUDGE S CH DIANA MINIMALI. I was impressed with the warm tone of this girl s coat. ASIAN SMOKE or BURMILLA NEUTER MALE. 1 entered plus 2 for BOB. 1 PC DAWES LAWRENCO LORD LOVAT BITTERN 1 year 2 months 2 weeks. (ASH as 11 31) A handsome fellow with good, wedge shaped head, rounded across the top and in the firm muzzle. Well shaped, set and spaced ears and eyes and in profile, generous depth in the skull, definite nose break deep, level chin. Healthy physique, large, elegant, well muscled and heavy body standing on slim legs, medium, oval paws. Coat has a pleasing soft, short, close lying texture, definite blue shading paling towards the underparts, with clear silver base. Silver round eyes, lips, chin and chest. Good to look at, friendly to be with. BOB COVELL- PALMER S GR PR GARES SILVER SEAMIST (ASH bs 11 31) 3 years 10 months 1 week. A lovely example with short, broad, blunt wedge, wide at the jaw hinge,
rounded dome. Med/large ears set well apart, following the outer lines of the face. Long, heavy body, limbs and tail in proportion. Fine, soft. short coat a warm, milk chocolate, paler towards the underparts, clear, silver base. An alert lad anxious to get back in his pen. Also LAWRENCE S GR PR LAWRENKO CPT MANNERING. Another super boy! FEMALE. 1 PC LOVELL S INYANGA KENNBURY ISIS (ASH hs) 5 years 3 months 2 weeks. Very short in the blunt, wide wedge, medium sized ears tilting forward, continuing the lines of the head, large golden yellow eyes held rather round today. Large body, just a little plump however feeling firmly muscled, medium legs with small, oval feet, gently tapering tail just a little short for balance. Coat is short, fine, close lying and with a silky texture, an attractive mingling of warm chocolate and red. A contented, friendly lady. Also BRUCE-GARDNER S IGR CH & GR PR FRILFORD NINNANANNA L(ASH as 11 31) 6 years 8 months 2 weeks. A superb, mature lady, with beautiful features that I always enjoy meeting. CHOCOLATE BURMESE KITTEN. 1 entered. 1 BOB MATTHEW S KATCHYN I SHOULD KOKO Male. 4 months 1 week. (BUR b) What a little gem, so relaxed and showing such good type. Head shows a short, broad, blunt wedge, gently curved dome between medium ears set wide, following the outer lines of the head, tilting forward. Large, expressive eyes, widely placed, deep, amber-gold. Very pleasing profile, generous depth to the head, also to the firm, straight chin; well defined nose break. Body of suitable weight and size for his age, a feeling of developing muscle. Legs, paws and tail show correct proportions. Very short, soft and close lying coat in a pale, milky chocolate, even overall. A sweet nature. LILAC BURMESE KITTEN. 2 entered. 1 BOB MATTHEW S KATCHYN EYE CANDY. Male. 4 months 1 week. (BUR c) Litter brother of the chocolate kitten and similarly beautiful. Short, blunt wedge shaped head with good, gently curving width between medium ears, rounded at the tips, set to continue the facial lines. Large, golden yellow eyes correctly showing an almost straight upper line, more fullness in the lower line, set wide giving an expression of innocence. Balanced profile with a well defined nose break, strong chin. Body feels surprisingly heavy, firmly muscled. Slim legs with neat, oval paws; tail tapering slightly towards the tip. Fine, short coat giving an impression of warmth in the pale, very even dove grey. A nicely balanced kitten with an endearing nature. 2 ALAND S OTRICKA ZALOZION Male. 5 months. A playful youngster with a correct shape to the head, deep golden eyes, large and widely placed. Largish ears tilting forward placed to follow the lines of the face. Generous depth to the skull in profile, nose rather long at present making the break appear less definite, deep, level chin. Heavy, firm feeling body of good weight for his age, slim legs, small, oval paws. Quality short, fine coat, a cool, even toned dove grey. A boy with a
friendly temperament looking as if his features are developing at different stages at the moment. I shall look forward to meeting him again. CLASS 782 Av FOREIGN ADULT. 5 entered. 1 LOVELL S KENNBURY RUGS HONFLEUR (ASH h 25) 2 MC-NALLY ROBERT S GR CH TITANKTONKS NEMESIS NEAERA (TOS c 31) 3. CAUNTER S THICKTHORN BUSY LIZZIE (OCI b) Female. 1 year 6 months 1 week. This attractive lass was deeply asleep when we arrived. Head just a little longer than wide, slightly curving lines, minimal dip in the nose seen in profile, broad muzzle well defined by a whisker pinch though I would have liked it a little longer. Wide based, medium/large ears placed wide apart to give an alert appearance, round tipped with almost imperceptible tufts. Beautiful, large, almond shaped eyes, deep bronze-gold in today s light. Elegant neck leading to a long, muscled body with substantial weight; straight back, rounded chest. Robust legs with medium, neat paws. Beautiful short, silky coat with a healthy sheen, pale, copper, agouti ground contrasting clearly with the dark, chocolate pattern warm in tone. Paler tone round the eyes, nostrils, chin and down the throat. Tail tip almost black. Facial pattern markings very distinct, the M and scarab, the cheek lines, also lines from the corners of the eyes. Lovely body spotting starting from the over the head lines, breaking down the spine, a variety of sizes of well defined spots, including on the tum. This lass behaved well today but sadly was reluctant to allow me to examine her bite or to look closely at her tail. It was about 2 pm when we arrived at her pen and she gave me the impression that it was now her sleeping time! A strong, healthy and interesting character.
