Lcate and click n the Animals/Livestck link in the upper left.

There is a drp-dwn bx and a list f any animals that have already been entered (there may nt be any yet). Select the animal type that yu want t enter and click the add buttn belw the drp-dwn bx.

The next screen will be a data entry screen fr the species yu selected (see belw fr examples). Nte that in sme species, certain selectins will activate extra entry fields [Example: selecting Registered will in sme cases shw a Breed drp dwn bx.] Read the infrmatin at the tp f each screen, particularly if yu are cnsidering exhibiting at the state fair. Sme fields that are NOT required (bld) are actually necessary fr state fair animals. Fr each animal entered, enter all the infrmatin requested and click the save buttn. All fields in bld are required. NOTICE that yu have ptins t print the infrmatin that yu entered n screen. It is nt necessary fr yu t print paper cpies unless yu need that infrmatin fr a shw that is utside f Iwa. The infrmatin that yu enter in 4hOnline is available t Iwa 4-H staff, just as it is available t yu. If yu WISH t print the infrmatin n screen, yu have tw ptins: 1. Animal Exprts (t Excel) Optin is lcated n the Animal List screen, and returns all infrmatin in an Excel spreadsheet, ne line per animal. Each animal type uses different fields, s if yu have identified dgs and hrses and llamas, yu ll exprt twice. This is fr family inf nly will nt be accepted anywhere as a valid identificatin because it s editable. 2. Print Animal Infrmatin This ptin is lcated at the tp f each individual animal screen, and prints a paper cpy f the infrmatin that is n the screen fr that specific animal. If yu want ne fr each animal, yu have t pen each animal s inf screen and print the frm fr each. This is the equivalent f the ld paper ID frms, but in Iwa 4-H shws, we will always use the nline data, nt any paper, as identificatin. REMINDERS: Families are nt able t enter infrmatin fr any weighed-in animals (mkt. beef, sheep, meat gats & swine). Thse animals are entered by cunty staff. Refer t the Livestck Verificatin Help sheet fr mre infrmatin. All animal ID s must be submitted n later than May 15 th, 11:59 p.m.
