We are very pleased that you have decided to bring an animal to the fair to exhibit, and possibly sell at the 10 th District Junior Livestock Auction. WHO QUALIFIES AS AN? An exhibitor who is not eligible to compete in a certain category as a member of a 4H, Grange or FFA junior organization (i.e. exhibitor is not a member of a club; exhibitor is a member of 4H but there is no project leader for the exhibitor s chosen project species or high school students who cannot fit FFA into their school class schedule may show at the Siskiyou Golden Fair as an independent exhibitor). Independent Exhibitors must be 9 years of age by January 1, 2019 to compete in large animal (Beef, Sheep, Swine, Dairy Cattle, Dairy Goats, Boer Goats, Market & Fiber Goats, Horse & Llama) competition at California Fairs or to sell in the 10 th District Junior Livestock Auction held during the Siskiyou Golden Fair. Exhibitors are eligible to complete/exhibit through December 31 st of the year in which they turn 19 years of age. You may complete the course online ( or attend the training provided by the 10 th DAA/Siskiyou Golden Fairgrounds in February/March. There will be no makeup trainings.
