1 JUDGES REPORT ON THE WEST COUNTRY CAT CLUB SHOW HELD ON SATURDAY 9 TH SEPTEMBER BLACK/CHOCOLATE/RED/TORTIE/CHOC TORTIE SHADED AND TIPPED CAMEO KITTEN MALE.BOB Merchant and Tseng REMILAKAT HADGI Red shaded cameo What a little stunner with lovely type and large bright copper eyes. Skull not quite rounded, neat well furnished ears sitting low on head, short broad nose with pink nose leather and open nostrils, full rounded cheeks with a firm chin and good bite. Coat colour developing with a very pale undercoat and some evidence of shading coming through at the roots. Subtle red shading to top coat still somewhat uneven at present. Slightly heavier over the shoulders and to mid and lower back, the coat had been beautifully prepared and was silky in texture. A well balanced cobby body of good substance supported by short thick legs and large tufted paws. Short well furnished tail balancing to the with some red shading to upper part of tail. He had a wonderful temperament and for one so young he was extremely well balanced. AC TABBY/SMOKE/CAMEO AND WHITE NEUTER Best of breed Tonks IGRCH AND OBIGP CULLYKHAN VIVALDI Brown tabby and white Absolutely stunning beautifully presented exhibit. An enormous cobby muscular body of heavy bone supported by short thick legs with very large paws. A large broad well rounded head with neat ears sitting very low on head with excellent furnishing. Large round bright eyes, short broad nose, Full cheeks with a broad muzzle, firm chin with level bite. A long frill frames the head. The white areas on his fabulous coat were snowy white. A lovely boy to handle. AOC SEMI LONG HAIR GRAND CHAMPION MALE 1GR CH Booth and Philbrick CH STARTOPCAT DANSDELIGHT Blue colourpointed Ragdoll There was something about this very pretty boy that I liked. Only just over a year old with a delightful temperament and so relaxed. A nice broad head with flat plane between medium sized ears that were well furnished and had slight tilt forward a little more attention to the grooming around the ears required.. Cheeks well developed as was his muzzle good firm chin with level bite. Large well opened eyes slightly oblique and set well apart and of deep blue colour. Nose of medium length with gentle dip to profile. Body developing well, substantial legs with large round tufted paws. Long bushy tail the length balanced to body

2 and tapering at the tip. A silky soft bluish white coat that was lighter in colour on the belly and chest. Nice blue matching points. RES GR CH Newman XH. ISHCUS XILANO Red tabby maine coon Wonderful presentation on this boy who is only just over a year old. He has excellent substance to his long rectangular shaped body which was supported by extremely substantial legs with large round paws which had tufts of fur appearing from under the paw. Tail fur profuse and flowing and the length reaching to his neck. Head a little round in shape, square muzzle and firm chin. Bite good. High cheek bones and fairly full cheeks. Nose of uniform width with a shallow curve to the profile. I found his eyes a little small in slanted in shape the left seemed smaller than the right. Tall large well feathered ears which had tufts at the tip. His undercoat was covered by a lovely glossy top coat. He was was shown in excellent condition and his manners were superb. AOC SEMI LONG HAIR GRAND CHAMPION FEMALE 1 GR CH CH AMBERJACK SIOUXSIE BANSHEE Brown tabby and white ragamuffin A a sweet and gentle expression with a temperament to match. A nice broad head of good length. Rounded cheeks and muzzle, puffy whisker pads. Well developed chin that was slightly tapered, good nose break. A strong neck. Medium sized well set ears with slight tilt forward and ears well furnished. Large walnut shaped eyes which were spaced well apart again showing a gentle sweet expression. Fleshy pad in the lower abdomen with a well covered body. His tail length balanced to his body and was fairly well furnished and tapered slightly. Heavily boned legs of medium length with large round paws support his heavy body. Tufts of fur beneath and in between his toes. A very beautiful exhibit but please get rid of the staining on back feet. SEAL POINT BIRMAN ADULT MALE Hedges GR CH DAUROSE THEN CAME HUGO Best of Breed only which awarded to the female, he was a very nice boy and beautifully prepared, markings good with good body size, Very nice birman type, almost round lovely blue eyes a little pale on whisker pads. SEAL POINT BIRMAN ADULT FEMALE Best of Breed Hedges GR CH SHWECHINTHE SWEET MELODY Good birman type with broad head and medium sized ears spaced well apart. Almost round blue eyes of deep blue colour. Full cheeks and good chin. Nose of medium length showing slight dip to the profile. A long well boned body of good weight with medium height thick set legs and short strong paws. Tail medium in length and busy. A silky soft well prepared

3 coat of clear beige colour complemented by rich seal points. Good gloves and socks. Good length tapering gauntlets, very easy to judge and very pretty. BLUE POINT ADULT FEMALE 1CC WITHELD Frost SHALFOI PINOT GRIGIO This girl needed much more show preparation especially on her tummy also her feet needed to be cleaner One toe on front glove is coloured these were my reasons for withholding. Only just over 1 year old and her blue mask is developing well. Ears have good width between them and are of medium size. Almost round blue eyes. Slight dip to profile on medium length nose. Fairly well developed cheeks, chin needs to be stronger. Good body a little rangy and coat a little short at present. Fairly even gauntlets Medium length tail. Very happy to be handled. AC SIBERIAN KITTEN FEMALE 1.BOB Nutley SNOWWITCH SIOLU-ROXY Brown spotted tabby and white Head well balanced to her body with a short broad wedge, muzzle and chin slightly rounded. Nose of harmonious length with the profile having a slight concave curve and when viewed from the front and was of uniform width., low set cheekbones. Whisker pads quite well developed, muzzle broad and rounded with a slightly rounded chin and good bite. Medium sized ears set wide apart and rounded at tip with good furnishings. Bright slightly oval shaped eyes that were large and spaced wide apart with a slightly oblique set. Well furnished tail that broad at the base and of good length and tapering towards the tip. A rectangular body shape of medium size with medium height legs of good bone structure. Large paws with good tufts. Lovely feel to the coat which was of lovely rich colour, pattern and texture. Coat medium in length with a dense soft springy undercoat which was covered by a more coarser top coat. She was absolutely gorgeous, she ran my best in show birman kitten very closely. AOV SEMI LONG HAIR GRAND PREMIER MALE 1GR PR Burgess CR CH AND PR KASSARO WASHINGTON Brown classic tabby and white maine coon has a long body of substantial bone with a rectangular appearance. Excellent type with a medium length head with square muzzle and firm chin, the bite is good. Fairly full cheeks with high cheek bones. Ears tall and large pointed at tip with good tufts and well feathered. Eyes spaced well apart full and round with a slightly oblique set. Profile shows a shallow curve and is of uniform width. Well boned legs with large round paws which had tufts of fur appearing from under the paw. His frontal ruff just beginning to develop. His undercoat was

4 covered by a lovely glossy top coat and showing good tabby markings. Tail long and reaching to his neck with profuse flowing fur. A lovely boy but owner please clean his feet next time. AOV SEMI LONG HAIR GRAND PREMIER FEMALE 1GR PR Cann GR CH & PR CHEAM M'LADY HAS ATTITUDE Brown tabby and white ragamuffin I have never seen such a coat on a ragamuffin some persians would die for it!!!! She had a worried look to her expression and was a real wriggler. A nice broad head of good length. Rounded cheeks and muzzle, puffy whisker pads. Well developed chin that was slightly tapered, good nose break. A strong neck. Medium sized well set ears with slight tilt forward and ears well furnished. Large walnut shaped eyes which were spaced well apart. A strong rectangular shaped body with a broad chest. Fleshy pad in the lower abdomen with a well covered body. Lovely well furnished tail which balanced to her body and tapered slightly. Heavily boned legs of medium length with large round paws support her heavy body. Tufts of fur beneath and in between her toes. RED TABBY SERIES MAINE COON NEUTER MALE BEST OF BREED Newman OBIGP DAIRYMAINE KASABIEN Now in his 11 th year and looking really good but my god what a weight dare I say a little on the tubby side. An enormous body of rectangular appearance with extremely substantial legs and very large paws with long tufts of fur appearing from under the paw. Extremely profuse flowing fur to his long tail which reaches to his shoulder blades. Nice square muzzle on a head of medium length with fairly full cheeks and high cheek bones. Nose of uniform width showing a shallow curve to the profile. Ears appearing pointed at tip and set high with good width at base, well feathered and tufted at tips. Full round eyes spaced wide apart with an oblique set. A full frontal ruff. A very glossy richly coloured and well patterned top coat covers his undercoat. Good frontal ruff with shaggy breeches and belly fur. SINGAPURA ADULT BEST OF BREED Brooks GR CH JANAMEL CAHAYA ROSE A very alert medium sized cat with a solid feel to her body. Rounded head. Dark salmon coloured blunt nose with a slight stop below the eye level. Her gooseberry coloured eyes were very large and held wide open with dark outline, slight cheetah lines from the inner corner of the eye. Well cupped large ears. Muzzle broad with a firm chin. Medium size muscular body, Well muscled legs showing some barring on the inner on the front legs and back knees, small oval feet. The lower part of back legs have brown spurs. Slender tail of good length with dark blunt tip. Short fine close lying silky coat of golden ivory ticked with

5 sepia brown showing light colour next to skin and dark colour at the tip. Full of energy and lovely to judge. EGYPTIAN ADULT MALE BEST OF BREED Garwood CH LEO DE DENDERAH What a fabulous colour and texture to this solid strong boy. Head shows slightly rounded wedge and no flat plane. Profile shows gentle curve and slight rise from the bridge of the nose to the forehead. Firm chin with level bite. Medium sized ears which were broad at the base and slightly flared but good width between them. Large almond shaped eyes of pale gooseberry green colour. Medium length body which was graceful also hard and muscular with a loose flap of skin between the hind legs. Elegant legs balanced to his body with medium boning. Feet small and dainty, Tail medium in length quite thick at the base and slightly tapered tail heavily banded with dark tip to tail.. Coat of medium length, close lying and dense. Scarab design to top of head, Well spotted spine. Broken necklets and barred limbs. Lovely spotty tummy and flanks. Delightful temperament and in excellent condition. BENGAL BROWN SPOTTED NEUTER MALE BEST OF BREED Coak IGR PR TYPHAST ZSAMI Really lovely boy and a gentle giant. Almost round oval shaped large eyes of excellent green colour that were set on slight slant. Broad head with high cheek bones and the head rather small in proportion to her body. Broken streaks run over her head Gentle curve to her profile on a large broad nose with slightly puffed nose leather. Full broad muzzle with rounded strong chin, good bite, Pronounced whisker pads. Medium ears with a wide base and rounded tips. Long muscular body with robust hindquarters the pattern of her coat showed distinct pattern with swirled patches.. Medium length strong muscular legs the hind being slightly longer than the front. Legs have broken and horizontal streaks running up the leg. Paws large and rounded. Medium length tail which was thick and even with rounded dark tip. A luxurious soft coat which I would have liked to have been rich in colour. Lovely girl to handle AC SELF BREEDERS PERSIAN KITTEN 1.
