Thank you Georgina and Lesley for inviting me to judge at their show; it was a lovely day in a great venue and a lovely lunch as always here. Thank you to Nicola Hutchinson who came out specially to steward for me - I very much enjoyed our day together and she is great with the cats, although I m not sure that she is meant to try and run off with them! It was a very busy day for us. A great steward definitely makes the day much easier. British Lilac Kitten 1 st BOB Not Awarded MURPHY S KAROWBIST LAVENDER DAZE (BSH c) F 27/07/18 A rounded head with nicely rounded cheeks, she has a firm chin with a bite that is just about level today. Her nose is short, broad and straight but the nose break is far too pronounced, making it very difficult to see a British look to her, she also has staining apparent under both of her eyes which are lovely and rounded and deep copper in colour. Her ears are a medium size and set a little high on her head today, they are rounded to the tips and well furnished with fur. She has a cobby body with strong legs and rounded paws and a tail that balances to the size of her body. Her coat is fairly short with some density to it but it is very soft at the moment, her lilac is a nice shade and has a pinkish tone to it. This girl was friendly and easy to handle. With the eye staining and a significant amount of chin acne, this young girl would have benefitted from some better show preparation today. The very pronounced nose break was my reason for withholding the BOB award. British Smoke Kitten 1 st BOB Not Awarded EDWARDS' KERNMERE LUCY LOCKET (BSH ns) F 08/08/18 A little lady of six and a half months who was lacking in British look to her today, she still has a lot to come together. Her head is currently more triangular than round, with a downward slope to her nose. She has eyes that are fairly rounded and well opened that are currently between a muddy baby eye colour and hazel. Her ears are quite large and very open at the base and are currently set a little high on her head, they are well furnished with fur and rounded to the tips, her bite is level and her chin is ok. She is long and rangy in her appearance at the moment, long and tall. Her coat is currently quite flat lying and lacking in density, it is black with a significant amount of ghosting to it. She was a friendly girl that handled well for us. She was lacking in British type today which is my reason for withholding the BOB award. British Longhair Kitten Assessment Female 1 st, BOB and Merit Awarded BERRY S MAWBRITZ MAGIC MOMENT (BLH n) F 13/08/18 1
British Longhair Kitten Assessment Male 1 st Merit Not Awarded CHILCOTT S HANOMIA WHIZZBANGER (BLH n 33) M 03/11/18 2

AC Non-Breeders British, Manx, Selkirk Rex or Chartreux Adult A large class of 10 cats and some lovely examples 1 st PROCTOR S CH CRYSTAL FLAMES JOKER POKER (BSH e 02 62) M This is the first Harlequin that I have had under me that I have felt looks like a Harlequin should. Lovely type to him, big cobby lad with random patching, his cream was pale and his white sparkling, his coat was just a touch long for perfection but had good density to it. 2 nd ADAIR S JOCOCA BETSY BOO (BSH a) F A fabulous young lady that I awarded a CC to just two weeks ago, my thoughts on her haven t changed. 3 rd BROWN S ALFIEBRITZ PURPLE-RAIN (BSH j) F Nicely rounded head with rounded eyes of a good copper colour, small, neat ears, nice cobby body with a coat of pale lilac and cream, lovely mingling, coat just a little long but with good density. AC Junior British, Manx, Selkirk Rex or Chartreux Adult Another large class of 9 cats 1 st ADAIR S JOCOCA BETSY BOO (BSH a) F Repeat 1st BUJALSKA-AXON S DELPHINIUM BUTTERKIST (BSH e) M A lovely lad that I met recently and awarded a Gr to and my thoughts on him have not changed; the only remark is that today he seemed to have a slight metallic sheen on his coat that made him look darker. 3 rd WOOD S CHARNODLEYWOOD CINDER-TOFFEE (BSH b) F Nicely rounded head, neat ears but set a little high on her head, lovely deep copper eyes. She is a little rangy today but is still cobby. Her coat is a little long but has some density, she s a rich chocolate colour. AC Junior British, Manx, Selkirk Rex or Chartreux Adult Another large class of 9 cats 1 st ASHTON S PAWSOME AZZURRA (BSH 03) F Lovely weight and size to this girl, she has a lovely round head with round eyes of deep copper, her coat is short and dense, she is marginal on ratio of blue to white but it is acceptable, a lovely young girl. 2 nd GREENAWAY S TER HEIDE S ULLA (BSH h) F Nicely rounded head, she is a little muzzly today and would benefit from some rounding to her cheeks, nicely rounded eyes which are a deep gold in colour, she s a nice size for her age and well mingled. 3 rd SUTTON S GR CH LEKATI CAPTAIN-MORGANS (BSH b 24) M Nice big lad with a nicely rounded head and full cheeks, his coat is short and dense with a nice feel to it, the lighting isn t always the best at this show and he looked a warmer shade of chocolate when 4
back in his, lovely size and weight for his age, promising young man. AC Radius British, Manx, Selkirk Rex or Chartreux Adult 1 st SUTTON S LEKATI LADY TULIP (BSH a 24) F Nice blue spotted girl showing nice type and a nice rounded head for her age, she s got lovely rounded eyes of a deep copper colour. Her coat is fairly short and dense, she currently has some linkage to her sports on her sides. Nice girl. 2 nd MARTIN S WELLMAR ZEBEDEE (BSH bs 24) M This young man really wasn t very happy about having his bite checked and made it very difficult for us, a good sized young man, his chocolate was a little washed out today. 3 rd ATANASOVA S KAMASAKI MOONSHADOW (BSH ns 12) F Rounded head with ears set a little high, lovely round green eyes and a cobby but petite body that showed even tipping, the coat I would have preferred shorter. AC Non-Breeders British Manx, Selkirk Rex or Chartreux Kitten 1 st PANTING S SILVERCATZ SILVER NARABI (BSH ns 22) F Sweet young silver girl with medium ears that are well set into the contours of her head, round eyes that are just turning colour with green emerging from the rims, jet black and medium silver coat that had good texture but was a little long. 2 nd BERRY S DAISYPURR IZITLOVEATMAWBRITZ (BSH a 21 33) A lovely little baby just old enough to be here, nicely rounded head with cheeks, cobby body, short coat with some crispness to it, good contrast to points, blue eyes with good depth to them and well rounded. It would be odd if I wasn t a fan and I definitely am! 3 rd TEGG S LAMBLIKE MOONWALK (SRL f) F Matchbox muzzle with well padded whisker pads, curly whiskers, rectangular in body shape, weighty girl with a lovely, well prepared coat with unstructured girls, a sweet young lady. AC 6-9 Month British, Manx, Selkirk Rex or Chartreux Kitten 1 st ASHTON S PAWSOME BLUE MY MIND (BSH a) M A nice blue lad with nicely rounded head and medium copper eyes that are well opened and round. His ears are a little large and flared at the base but fit well into the contours of his head. Nice cobby body to him and his coat is fairly short and dense althoug, I would prefer him to be a little paler for perfection. He handled well. 2 nd SCHALBETTER S SCHALIKATZ NATALYA SIMONOVA (BSH g) F Nicely rounded head with cheek development, she has a very pronounced nose break and a nose that tapers to the tip showing a very small nose leather. She has a nice cobby body with strong legs and paws. She is dark blue with pale cream coming through, she isn t showing a lot of mingling currently and has a cream patch on her chest. Her coat is a little long with some density to it. 5
3 rd HALL S CATYKES THE LADY LOVES MURPHY (BSH bs 22) M Nice type on this lad, he is quite tall in the leg today, he has orange eyes that are well rounded and open with medium sized ears which are well set into the contours of his head. He seems to be a bit of an awkward stage today, his pattern looked a little muddled and he was losing a lot of hair. AC Non-Breeders British, Manx, Selkirk Rex or Chartreux Neuter 1 st PROCTOR S IGR PR HEATHDOWN LEONARDO DAVINCI (BSH NY 12) MN Good size and weight to this boy with lovely green eyes that were large and well opened. His coat was rather long and soft but evenly tipped across his body. 2 nd BRASSINGTON S CH & IGR PR TIGATAILS DAISY-ANGELINA (BSH ns 24) FN Quite grumpy with us today and hard to access, being in a bed it was much harder to get to her and her coat required more preparation. AC Junior British, Manx, Selkirk Rex or Chartreux Neuter 1 st EDWARDS' KERNMERE PLOUGHMAN (BSH n 22) MN This young man was rather lacking in head type today and a bit rangy in his body also. He has large ears that are well set and lovely round eyes. He was losing a lot of hair today. 2 nd SAUNDERSON S GR PR BOUCLES BOOGIE WONDERLAND (SRL ns) MN His body is rectangular and good shape for a Selkirk, he had some nice curls which were unstructured and well prepared, he was rather lacking in muzzle today and rather grumpy. 6
