1 EAST SUSSEX CAT CLUB SHOW 24 June 2017 Judge: Perri Mansaray This show is very dear to me as Chairman and I would like to thank my Committee and our Show Manager Vanessa Marriott for all their hard work into making this show such a success. Thank you Vanessa for asking me to judge this year and I would like to thank Kathy McLeod for stewarding so well for me on such a busy day. I look forward to the next time Kathy. Grand Class A V Rex, Sphynx, or Laperm Premier Neuter Male GR PC WOOLLEY S CH & PR CHRISAN CASTASPELL (CRX ns 03) MN ( ) Handsome chap a tuxedo boy! Super type chap. Large ears which are set correctly rather high on his head, wide at the base, nice rounded tips. Medium wedge with nice high cheekbones. His eyes are oval in shape, chartreuse in colour. In profile flat skull, tiny bump on nose, firm chin, level bite. Elegant neck. Svelte body of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail is long and tapering, balances. He has a super coat, short dense and soft with fabulous rexing. You can feel the waves on his coat and the rexing extends well down his legs and tail. Sweetie pie. Egyptian Mau Kitten 1 & BOB SRIDHAR S STARRSAILOR GALILEO FIGARO MN (MAU ns 24) ( ) Sweet natured boy of good type, curious and nosey! Large size ears which are broad at the base, pointed with good width in between. They are set well back on his head, cupped forward and alert. They nicely follow the lines of his head. Slightly rounded wedge of medium length. His profile shows a gentle contour with a slight rise from the bridge of his nose to his forehead. His nose is of uniform width when viewed from the front. Gently rounded muzzle, very slightly receding chin, level bite. His eyes are rounded almond in shape, large and expressive. His eyes are set straight in his head beneath a level brow with a slight upward slant to the lower lid only. His eyes are gooseberry green in colour. This setting gives him a lovely worried expression. Muscular firm body of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. His hind legs are slightly longer and give him the correct appearance of walking on tip toe. His tail is of medium length, slightly thick at the base, tapering, balances. His coat is of medium length, close lying with a good shine. The hair is dense with good resilience in texture. Nice M on his forehead. Tiny bit of tarnish on his nose. Lovely mascara lines. His coat shows excellent distinct small random spots giving good contrast to his silver ground coat. Charcoal grey markings on a silvery white ground coat. Spotted tummy. Nicely broken spine line. Ringed legs and tail with a dark tail tip. Lovely promising young boy.
2 AOC Tortoiseshell Burmese Adult 1 CC KEMPE S OAKENSHIELD PEBBLES (BUR h) F (2.8.16) Sweet young tortie lass just adult at 10 months of age. Large ears well set with correct forward tilt. Gentle rounding to the top of her head. Medium wedge which is a little fine in the muzzle at present. She has expressive eyes which are set well apart, good shape and size, chartreuse in colour. Flat brow, fair nose break, slightly receding chin, level bite. Muscular girl of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. Her tail has a paintbrush tip, balances. Her coat is short and close lying. Pretty choc tortie lass with a sweet temperament. BOB to GILES CH IMASTAR CELESTIAL FLAIR (BUR h) F ( ) What a hissy madam! Nice mature girl of 1 year, 10 months of age. Gently rounded top of head. Large size ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. Her eyes are expressive and are set well apart, good shape and size, yellow in colour. Flat brow, good nose break, nose rolls off at very tip, firm chin, level bite. Weighty muscular body. Slender legs and neat oval paws. Her tail has a good shape paintbrush tip, balances. She has a super coat, short and close lying with good shine. Pretty chocolate tortie. Blue Burmese Kitten 1 & BOB BRIMSDEN S IMASTAR SKYE BLUE (BUR a) F ( ) Sweetie. Well grown for 4 months of age! Lovely type head. Large ears well set with correct forward tilt. Gentle rounding to the top of her head. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. She has expressive eyes set well apart, good shape and size, still changing at present, they do have a rather orange tinge currently, and I do hope this will settle. Rounded brow. Excellent nose break, firm chin, level bite. Muscular lass of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. Her tail has a good shape, paintbrush tip, but is a tad short to balance. Her coat is short and close lying. Nice even blue with good silvering on her extremities. Poppet. Oriental Bicolour Kitten 1 & BOB WHISTON S MIYOKO APACHE (OSH n 03 33) M ( ) Well grown chap of 7 months of age. Strong top. Large wide based flared ears well set. Good length well balanced wedge. He has oriental shaped eyes slanting towards his nose, a little deep set, blue in colour. In profile he has a small dip and bump on his nose, firm chin, level bite. Elegant neck. Long svelte body of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail is long and tapering balances. His coat is short and close lying. He has nice even seal points. His white is borderline he has a white V on his nose, white neck. The white runs under his tummy in a strip and all four feet are white, so on balance I gave him the benefit of the doubt today. Timid pops. Foreign White Neuter Male BOB to CAMPBELL S IGR PR SHANTAI SAMURAIBOY (SIA w 67) MN ( ) 6 and a half year old mature chap of super type. Strong top. Large wide based flared ears well set. Good length well balanced wedge. He has oriental shaped eyes slanting towards his nose, deep blue in colour. In profile he has a
3 straight nose, firm chin, level bite. Long elegant neck. Svelte muscular body of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail is tapering in shape, but is a tad short to balance. His coat is short and close lying, persil white and sound to the roots. Handsome boy who is a delight to handle. Foreign White Neuter Female Considered for BOB: CAMPBELL S IGR PR SANTAI KOJI (SIA w 67) FN ( ) Litter sister to boy above and they are very similar in type. Strong top. Large wide based flared ears well set. Good length well balanced wedge. She has oriental shaped eyes slanting towards her nose, blue in colour. In profile straight nose, firm chin, level bite. Long elegant neck. Svelte body of good weight. Slender legs and neat oval paws. Her tail is tapering in shape, but is short to balance. Her coat is short and close lying, good texture and shine. Super persil white coat and sound to the roots. Gentle girl. Oriental Bicolour Neuter BOB to REED S IGR PR JOHPAS FROM RUSSIAWITHLOVE (OSH n 03 33) MN (5.8.15) Love this boy to pieces! Fabulous type young man who seems to get better and better every time I handle him! He chats and chats when he comes out! Strong top. Large wide based flared ears well set. Good length well balanced wedge. He has oriental shaped eyes slanting towards his nose, deep blue in colour. In profile he has a straight nose, firm chin, level bite. Long elegant neck. His stomach is becoming a bit of a pudding! He obviously loves his food. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail is long and tapering balances. He is so elegant when he stands, beautifully balanced. Nice seal points with correct more than 1/3 rd white. A delight to judge. A V Foreign Adult 1 HOPE S TYPHAST XENA (BEN n 24) F (9.3.16) Young girl of 15 months of age. large ears which are wide at the base and have rounded tips well set. Broad medium wedge, slightly longer than wide with nice high cheekbones. Her eyes are oval in shape, chartreuse in colour. Gentle slope to nose, firm chin, level bite. Muscular lass of good weight. Strong legs and oval paws. Her tail is tapering in shape, balances. She has a super coat short in length, very dense and luxurious and soft to the touch. Nice arrowhead rosettes with good glitter. A V Foreign Breeders Adult 1 ALGER-STREET S TYPHAST QUEENOF SHEBA (BEN ) F (4.4.11) mature girl of 6 years of age. Large ears which are wide at the base, rounded tips and are well set. Broad medium wedge which is slightly longer than wide with nice high cheekbones. Her eyes are oval in shape, chartreuse in colour. Gentle slope to nose firm chin level bite. Muscular lass of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. Her tail is tapering, rounded tip, balances. Her coat is also short in length, dense and luxurious and soft to the touch. Nice large rosettes with good glitter. Noisy!
4 2 RAVENSCROFT GOLUBOI TATYANA (RUS a) F (9.6.13) large pointed ears which are wide at the base and set vertically to her head. Short wedge with flatness between the ears. Her eyes are almond in shape, green in colour and are set well apart. Gentle concave slope to her nose. Firm chin, level bite. Muscular weighty girl. Slender legs and oval paws. Her tail balances. Her coat is double with a very dense undercoat, and is very fine, short and soft. Nice clear medium blue with distinct silvery sheen. A V Foreign Veteran Adult 1 MACEY S IGR CH FECHELDEE SADIESHADES F (TOS f 32) (25.9.9) Another sweetie of excellent type and she is 7 and a half years of age. Gentle rounding to the top of her head with good width in between her ear set. Large size ears which are broad at the base, oval tips, taller than wide and are correctly pricked forward. Moderately proportioned wedge with a definite whisker pinch. In profile she has a very tiny bump with a slight nose break, firm chin and a level bite. Long elegant neck. Her eyes are large and expressive and are set well apart. They are almond in shape with her top lid slanting towards her nose, and a fuller, rounder lower lid, greenish blue in colour. She has a nice firm and muscular body of good weight. Slender legs and neat oval paws. Her tail is of a medium length, balances. Her coat is short, fine, soft and silky with a good shine. Very pretty brown tortie lass. Warm brown broken with various shades of red. Slightly darker mask which contrasts well with her body. Dear temperament and purring girl. A V Foreign Non-Breeders Kitten 1 & BOB SRIDHAR S STARRSAILOR GALILEO FIGARO MN (MAU ns 24) ( ) A V Foreign Debutante Kitten 1 SRIDHAR S ABYDREAMES EMPEROR ZAKATH (ABY a) M ( ) 5 month old blue Aby of cracking type and a purring temperament to boot. Large pricked ears are set wide apart, well cupped and nicely following the lines of his wedge. Moderate wedge which is well rounded with a slightly rounded muzzle. He has large expressive rounded almond shape eyes, which are set well apart and giving a good expression, hazel in colour. In profile slight nose break, firm chin, level bite. Muscular body of good weight for his young age. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail has a rounded tip, balances. His coat is short, fine, dense in texture and close lying with good shine. Excellent distinct ticking with even soft warm blue, ticked with deeper blue grey on a pinkish mushroom groundcoat.. Friendly chap. My choice for one of my special Chairman s rosettes Perri s Fab Cat I understand he went on to become Best of Variety Foreign many congratulations to his owners and breeder. I will watch his progress with interest. A V Foreign Neuter 1 MACEY S IGR CH & PR FECHELDEE DAISIEMAY FN (TOS k 32) (1.12.6) What a lovely mature lass of excellent type and aged 10 years totally enjoying her day out. Medium sized ears which are taller than wide, correctly pricked forward.
5 They are broad at the base with nice oval shaped tips. Gently rounded top of head giving good width in between her ears. Moderately proportioned wedge and a definite whisker pinch. In profile she has a very slight nose break, slightly receding chin, level bite. Elegant neck. Her eyes are large and expressive of almond shape and are set well apart. Her top line of her eye is slanted nicely towards her nose, rounder fuller lower lid. Greenish blue in colour. Her body is a little matronly which is acceptable at her age! Slender legs and neat oval paws. Her tail is tapering in shape, which is of medium length, but is just a tad short to balance. Her coat rather lets her down today it is slightly plush in texture and open. Very slightly darker mask and ears merging nicely with her body colour. Brownish grey body colour merging with darker brownish grey points, well mingled with varying shades of apricot. She has a nice metallic sheen over the caramel markings. Sweet natured girl purring her head off and enjoying her day out. 2 HAZEL S ADPIXFO SIMPLY RED (DRX d) MN (1.4.16) 14 month old young man of nice head type. Large ears which are very wide at the base rounded tips, set low and wide apart. Nice pixie expression. Short broad wedge, high cheekbones. His eyes are oval in shape, yellow in colour. Flat skull, good stop, firm chin, level bite. Muscular firm body of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail is long and tapering, balances. His coat is lacking rexing at present with his coat being rather flat. 3 LEE S CH & PR TONLEE RAJSARKA MIA FARROW (BEN n 24 33) FN ( ) A V Foreign Junior Neuter 1 VANNS PR ABYDREAMES GRAFFITI BRIDGE (ABY n) MN ( ) Grumbler but handled ok. Large pricked ears which are well cupped and set wide apart. Moderate wedge with gently rounded contours. He has rounded almond shaped eyes which are large and expressive and are set well apart, hazel in colour. Gentle nose break, small bump. Firm chin, level bite. Weighty muscular body. Strong legs and oval paws. His tail is thick at the base, has a rounded tip balances. His coat is short, dense in texture and close lying. Super ticked coat. Rich golden brown ticked with black on a ruddy orange groundcoat. Wrigglebum! A V Foreign Senior Neuter 1 TREACHER S GR PR SALUAY CHUAANG DOW (KOR ) MN ( ) 6 years 10 month old mature chap of excellent type. His ears are large with a large flare at the base, rounded tips and set high on his head, giving a correct alert expression. He has a nice heart shaped head with good breadth between and across the eyes. Large flat forehead. He has a short nose with a downward curve. In profile slight stop, firm chin, level bite. His eyes are large and luminous and prominent, they are wide open, brilliant green in colour. Strong muscular body of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail is heavier at the base, rounded tip, but is very short to balance. His coat is short, glossy and fine and lying close to his body. Nice even blue tipped with silver.
6 2 VANNS SILVERSMOKE LINDY HOP (ABY sorrel) FN ( ) Another wrigglebum! Large pricked ears which are set wide apart, well cupped and nicely following his head lines. Moderate wedge with rounded contours with a slight indentation forming the muzzle. In profile a slight nose break, firm chin, level bite. His eyes are rounded almond in shape, large and expressive and are set well apart, hazel in colour.. Muscular body. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail is thick at the base, but is short to balance. His coat is short, fine and dense in texture and close lying. Lustrous copper ticked with chocolate on a bright apricot groundcoat. Poppet. 2 LONGMAN S SABOKAH MONTANAA-TROY (BUR n) M (25..16) 14 month old young man. Gentle rounding to the top of his head. Large size ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. Expressive yellow eyes set well apart, good shape and size, yellow in colour. Flat brow, fair nose break firm chin bite untidy. Long svelte body of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. His tail has a paintbrush tip, balances. His coat is rather pale and patchy? been sunbathing. Mask and points giving contrast to his paler body. A C Burmese Debutante Adult 1 BRYAN S BRYADAJHAY SKYE BLEU (BUR a) F (6.9.16) Catitude!! Hissy miss! Large ears well set with correct forward tilt. Gentle rounding to the top of her head. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. She has expressive eyes set well apart, good shape and size, yellow in colour. Flat brow, fair nose break, receding chin, level bite. Muscular lass of good weight. Her tail has a good shape, nice paintbrush tip, but is short to balance. Her coat is short and close lying. It is a rather dark blue with very little silvering. A C Burmese Novice Kitten 1 FERGUSON S MYTHIAN DERCY (BUR n) F ( ) Not quite a Christmas baby! Lovely type girl well grown for 6 months of age. Gentle rounding to the top of her head. Large ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. She has very expressive eyes which are set well apart, good shape and size, yellow in colour. Lovely cross expression! Rounded brow, excellent nose break, firm chin, level bite. Muscular firm body of good weight. Slender legs and neat oval paws. Her tail has a good shape, paintbrush tip, balances. Her coat is short and close lying with fab sheen. Warm even seal brown. Will watch her progress with interest, promising lass. 2 BRIMSDEN S ELLIECHLO NUTMEG (BUR n) F ( ) 4 month old purring poppet! Large size ears well set with correct forward tilt. Gently rounded top of head. Short wide wedge, blunt muzzle. She has expressive eyes that are set well apart, good shape and size, chartreuse in colour. Flat brow, excellent nose break, firm chin, level bite. Firm weighty body well grown for her age. Slender legs and oval paws. Her tail has a good shape, paintbrush tip, balances. Her coat is short and close lying, but is a little cold toned and was lacking shine today. Poppet. A C Burmese Senior Neuter 1 POWER S CH & GR PR INDIANSTAR SHIMLA (BUR c) FN ( ) 2 years 9 months old mature lass with super expression. Nice Burmese glower! Large ears well set with correct forward tilt. Short wide wedge blunt muzzle. She has expressive eyes set well apart, good shape and size, chartreuse in colour. Rounded brow, good nose break, firm chin, level bite. Weighty girl with a firm and muscular body. Slender legs and neat oval paws. Her tail has a good shape but is short to balance. Her coat is short and close lying with good texture and shine. Nice even dove grey with good pinky hue. Sweetie pie. A C Oriental Adult 1 SMITH S CH KATAMOUNTIN MISSIE MOUSE (OSH bs) F ( ) Very sweet natured chocolate smoke girl of 18 months of age. Strong top. Large wide based flared ears well set. Good length well balanced wedge. She has oriental shaped eyes slanting towards her nose olive green in colour. In profile she has a small dip in her nose, firm chin, level bite. Elegant neck. Svelte body of good weight. Slender legs and oval paws. Her tail is long and tapering, balances. Her coat is short and close lying with excellent shine. Warm even chocolate with a good
8 silver undercoat, correctly not seeing the smoke until she moves. She does have more smoking visible around her face. Pretty lass. She has a super coat, it is short and close lying with a super shine. She has fab even ticking, showing clear bands in her coat. Gentle natured girl who was a sweetie to handle o0o ----
