Many thanks to Chris, Janet and committee for my invitation, the storm, created quite a racket on the roof, though when I left later for my train it had settled dramatically. Thank you Jenifer for stewarding and the care to the exhibits. I know I may appear to come across a bit heavy about beds, but there are a number reasons, for this. The rule is clear. In the main, they are unnecessary, the exhibit is often under it rather than in it or as was witnessed yesterday sitting in the litter tray. The size and depth in many cases, creating hindrance to removal of the exhibit. The main one though is the safety aspect for Judge and steward. Should someone get injured or badly bitten as a result I can only assume you will take responsibility and compensate the person concerned for any loss of income they may suffer as a result. Some super exhibits, sadly many of these were in the same class and taking a lower award, though in other company would have romped the class and reports are below for a number of them. 79 BURGESS S UK OLY G IMP GR PR KASSARO CISCOKID MCO n See below 27 WHITBY S CH AND IMP GR PR SUCETTE WISHY WASHY. A really beautiful Chocolate Oriental Spotted Tabby Kitten, Not forgetting my Olympian Winner below. Its never a bad day as long as you have something memorable to handle. You may come across the odd typo, if so I apologise, but ultimately its not going to change the results, so in the great scheme of things, relatively unimportant. Olympian Adult Male; OLY 187 LINCOLN S SUP UK IMP GR CH LINCZOZO JAVIER FERNANDEZ. ABY b Chocolate Abyssinian, modified medium wedge, gentle rounding to the head contours, gently curved cheeks, slightly rounded muzzle, his brow rounds gently, with some indent at the muzzle, slight break at the eye line, chin was good, bite now a little untidy. His ears were well cupped and have an alert appearance to their moderately large size. Wide almond shape, with a pleasing gentle slant, the colour was variable dependant upon the angle viewed, a combination between yellowy hazel and greenish hazel dark chocolate rims,. Boy was splendid well muscled and strong, slender legs, neat oval paws, well 1

balanced medium length tail slight taper. His coat was short & lay close with a slight degree of resilience to the texture, glossy sheen, well Ticked and banded, over the body, with lovely degree of brightness to his colour of warm coppery effect enhanced by his darker chocolate ticking and banding, deepening a little over his lower back, dark chocolate heels and outer edges of his paws, paler are beneath his eyes, chocolate paw pads. Super condition, his temperament is an absolute joy, he sucked up really well nor did he confine this to judge he also went to work on the steward, the cat has no shame, the lengths some exhibits will go to obtain a certificate. RES OLY 100 BURGESS S MUSRAFY YURI GAGARIN. SIB n Brown Mackerel Tabby Siberian, though arguably young for such a high title, I can t deny he has what it takes and came extremely close to getting the higher award. Head has rounded contours, broad low cheekline, muzzle is good, slightly domed brow, showing a curve as the nasal bridge, chin firm, bite good. Ears medium size, with well furnished interiors and set wide apart. Eyes have deeper curve to the lower line, to their full oval shape, with pleasing degree of brightness, Body is beautifully developed with wonderful substance to create the heft required for his breed, broad chest, heavily boned strong legs, tufts between his toes creating size to the paws, bushy tail of balanced length. His coat has lovely density, which creates a springier effect enhanced by the thicker undercoat, glossier harsher top coat, with longer guard hairs apparent over his lower back and sides, extending onto the tail, suitable for harsher weather conditions. Is presentation was as superb as ever and has so much to admire. He was back to being beautifully composed and in super condition. 3 rd 230 STALKER S UK OLYS IMOP GR CH AUREUS FIRECRACKER. BUR d Red Burmese, beautifully mature lad, super type, wonderfully muscular body, sleek coat. Very mature and undeniably handsome chap. Strong head, short, wide wedge, now with heavier jowling, blunt muzzle, well rounded top line in both directions, excellent break, chin is strong, bite level. His ears are medium size rounded tips and touch of tilt forward. Eyes are large and the shape we defined with more deeply curved lower line, the colour is chartreuse could have more yellow influence. Muscular neck strong broad chest, very well muscled medium length body, well proportioned legs and paws, tail of medium length, with slightly thickened base area. His coat was beautifully short and very close fitting, laying sleek and satiny, the colour is a warm tangerine deeper colour on his brow and ears, paling slightly toward the tummy area, some knee smudges. He was in splendid condition, and has a remarkably gentle nature. 4 th 45 CANLIN S IMP GR CH RAZNDREAMS PERFECT MATCH. RAG a Blue Tabby Bi-Colour Ragdoll, this lad has an overall presence which was difficult to ignore, head though possibly a little more rounded than ideal, he has very good width across his well developed cheeks, his brow was showing slight rounding though a very good downward curve I profile and gentle retroussé effect to his nose, chin was firm, bite level. Medium size ears, set well apart, hint of tilt forward, round tips, good internal furnishings. Gorgeous eyes, large and well open, hint of obliqueness to the set, super depth of blue, very intense and such a gentle expression. Impressive size and maturity, showing lovely stature, heavily boned legs and paws, tufts between the toes, bushy tail I would prefer a little longer. His coat was most beautifully prepared, good amount of ruff, full knickerbockers, silken texture. Body colour is cool with slight 2

amount of tonal shading with good contrast against his white, inverted white V on his mask this extends through his chin chest, tummy, front legs and back legs also to the line of the body, these were not only clean but also bright, the blue Tabby on his mask was well defined, tail rings just apparent on the underside. His condition and presentation both splendid, beautifully composed lad. 5 TH 18 IMP GR CH JERVO ROSSOBIANCO. EXO d Red Bi-Colour Exotic, another highly titled youngster, maturing well, head is broad and rounded, good fullness to his cheeks, broad muzzle smoothly rounded skull, excellent stop, large nose leather, large well formed nostrils, good depth strong chin, bite is a little undershot. His ears are set-well, low with good width between, rounded tips, reasonably small. His eyes are well-rounded, fully open shape creating good degree of boldness, orange colour. Body has now bulked up, compact and cobby, heavily boned strong legs large, paws, tail was moderately thick & relative short and well balanced. His coat stands away from the body, I would I confess like it just a little softer and plusher to create more evidence of full of life quality, he also appears to have moulted out his eyebrows. White clean and contrasted well against his red, slight amount of pattern, though this was nothing excessive so only mentioned for description. Condition was excellent and he has an amicable gentle nature, Also Considered 32 WILLIAMS S IMP GR CH MYPAWS SOLO. RAG a Blue CP Ragdoll, beautifully grown and handsome. Head shows width across the cheeks, he has a well developed if slightly longer muzzle, flat brow, needs a little more evidence of downward curve to his profile and some retroussé effect to his nose, chin was good, level bite. His ears have a hint of tilt to their medium size, rounded tips, well furnished interiors. His eyes quite large, just need to open them up a little more to make the most of them, and the blue whilst not pale could be more intense, gently oblique. Body is very substantial and solid, heavily boned legs and large paws, tail bushy and almost balanced length. Beautifully prepared coat, length excellent, density very good, excellent ruff and knickerbockers. Body is a cool glacial effect with some shading though he has abundant contrast to his blue points. Perfect gentleman to handle, wonderful condition. Also Considered 42 JONES S IMP GR CH SARAGGS STUD MUFFINRAG n Seal Tabby Bi-Coloured Ragdoll. Very mature and well-proportioned lad. Head has very good width over his well developed cheeks, well developed muzzle, I d like his brow little flatter and requires a little more obvious downward curve to the nose, chin, firm, level bite. Ears medium size, set well apart and gentle hint of tilt, plenty of internal furnishings. The eyes are very attractive, enhanced by the seal coloured rims, well open, gently oblique setting, though a good depth generally I would like more intense for a Seal. Beautifully developed lad. Heavy and well muscled super substance, strong well boned legs and good size paws, tail has a mere hint of taper, bushy and well furnished balanced length, well developed fullness to his knickerbockers and full ruff. His white was beautifully clean and well prepared, inverted white on his face, chin, throat, chest and tummy, as well as the front legs the back also to the line of his body. The remainder of his mask and ears typically Tabby and he was also showing tail bands viewed better from a distance, body showing some shading though not unduly excessive. He was such a gentle composed lad and has the confidence to sell himself, lovely condition. 3

Section 2 Imperial Grand Premier,Male; IMP GR PR 39 WILLIS S RAGZNDREAMS MOSES. RAG d Red CP Ragdoll, handsome, mature lad, Strong head, showing width across his cheeks and well developed muzzle, flat brow, gentle downward curve in profile, would benefit with a little more retroussé effect to his nose perhaps, chin firm, level bite. Medium ears are set well apart, showing slight forward tilt, longer internal furnishings. He has such a lovely gentle expression, well open and slightly oblique very good depth of bright clear blue. Impressively substantial body, strong broad chest and well-developed flanks, heavily boned strong legs, good size paws, tufts between his toes, bushy tail need a little more length ideally. Splendid coat, lovely prep, soft and silken, good amount of ruff full knickerbockers. His body colour a warm white with some tonal glow, contrast to his good red points colour, seal freckles on his nose. Temperament and condition both excellent, he was a remarkably composed lad. RES IMP GR PR 68 UNWIN S GR PR ZIVANNAZ AULT JIMMY MCCOO. NFO ds Red Silver Classic Tabby Norwegian Forest Cat, he has an excellent, equilateral triangular wedge shaped head, excellent profile, chin requires a little more depth, bite level. Ears are large and the outer edge follows up from the line of his chin through the cheeks, small tufted tips, well furnished interiors. His eyes are a good size, oval shape, slightly oblique, whilst no points for the colour his are an attractive golden amber tone. Whilst this lad still has to acquire more substance, he had good length overall, well proportioned legs and paws, well balanced bushy tail to the shoulder. Coat was a good length and well prepared, some ruff and full knickerbockers, woolly undercoat his top-coat was longer with glossy harsher guard hairs along his lower back sides ant tail, tufts between his toes. Very composed chap in excellent condition. Section 2 Imperial Grand Premier, Female; IMP GR PR 92 DAVIES S GR PR ANGLEZARKE SUGARSPUN. MCO g Blue Tortie and White Maine Coon, mature solid girl, well finished. Strong mature head, longer than wide, with well defined cheeks bones, boxy square muzzle, showing gentle concave curve at the eye line, marginally longer nose, deep chin adding to the squareness of muzzle, her bite level. Ears are large set tall, tufted tips, wide base, good furnishings, her eyes are quite large, round shape and gently oblique, green colour. Good neck long rectangular body, strong legs, tufted paws, tail could be a little longer and fuller, to balance her length a little more fully. Coat was a very good length, shorter over the shoulders, uneven length, lengthening over the lower sides, shaggy tummy, good britches and some ruff. Good combination of cream and blue with white to her paws, chest and tummy. She has very good strength and substance. Condition was excellent, and her temperament was composed and relaxed. RES IMP GR PR 28 POOL S IMP GR CH & GR PR SARMOYA PRINCESS AURORA. SBI f Seal Tortie Birman, most attractive girl, excellent Birman type, with width across her cheeks, well developed muzzle, skull well rounded, slight dip to her nose, chin was good, level bite. Her ears are medium size and set well apart. Lovely eyes with that so typical expression, well shaped near round, the colour has perhaps lost a little of its former intensity, but they are nevertheless, 4

most attractive due to the expression. Body was showing good substance, and has lost none of its tone, good legs and paws, tail medium balanced length, reasonably bushy. Coat though perhaps not the fullness of her youth, was however a good SL length, showing some ruff, slight curl to the tummy. Her points were all showing a combination of red and Seal with lots of red evident, contrast evident to her body with some tonal mottled shading, good feet markings, tapered gauntlets, well matched socks, gloves relatively even. She was very sweet natured and her condition was excellent. British Brown Spotted Adult; 1 st CC and BOB. 139 ADAIR S LIMATZ POSEY PARKER Really beautiful face still with a very innocent kittenish look, perfectly in keeping with her very young age, Round head shape obviously still to fill out more fully, well rounded though the cheeks still a work in progress, rounded brow, good muzzle, well developed chin, level bite. What a real treat it was to see small neat ears, though still to widen off a little more, they still sit nicely into the head and don t distort. Eyes well open and round, intense orange colour. Her body is well grown and had depth, compact shape, with good breadth chest and equally developed strong flanks, low on her strong legs, round paws, heavy tail. Wonderful density to her coat which though still to crisp up more fully, but no more than one would expect of her age and development. Lovely facials, including spotted whisker pads, M on the brow, well broken spine line, super spotting, all well defined and contrasted well, well marked leg bracelets and excellent tail rings, the contrast is excellent, though ideally her ground colour could be warmer but brown Tabbies of any pattern tend to suffer from the same problem. She was in super condition and has such a lovely nature. She was a real delight and I look forward to seeing more of her. 4a Grand Champion; GR CH 183 LOCKWOOD S CH AUCUPARIA S JULIUS ABY n Usual Abyssinian, I confess to deliberating over his certificate, as I would like him to have a greater degree of maturity. Head has moderate wedge, gently rounding on his muzzle with slight indent beneath his cheek which curve gently, his brow has a slightly rounded appearance and showed a gentle break at the eye line, in profile, fair chin, good bite. His ears are set well, being well pricked and good cupping to the base, good larger size. He has very expressive eyes, wide almond with slight slant. Coat short and close, with soft sheen. Ticking was well defined slightly denser along his spine and along his tail. His colour was overall rich and bright with pleasing apricot tone to his throat, chest, tummy and inside his legs, even his muzzle and chin are well coloured, though he does have a bit of grey at the roots but this is confined to his shoulder area, black heels, outer edges of the paws and tail tip. His condition was excellent and his temperament was beautifully composed and relaxed. RES GR CH Not Awarded 2 nd. 176 JOHNSON S CH KORESKA OLEXSIA BLUESKY RUS a Russian Blue, shorter wedge from the eyes down, slight hint of break to create an angle at the eye line, his muzzle was excellent showing prominence to his whisker pads, good depth chin, level bite. Beautifully set ears, tall, lightly furnished interiors. Eyes are almond shaped, slightly deeper in set, wonderful green colour and such a gentle expression. Though elegant, he is at 5

present very lean and needs to muscle up a little more, he has a very small lesion or similar on the mid area of his left side, he has rubber legs, refusing to stand on them and doing cartwheels on the trolley, small oval paws, slightly tapered very good length tail. His coat was showing double qualities with soft plush undercoat, soft fine top coat. Mid blue colour, with some translucence to the tips, softening the colour. He is a really fussy youngster incredible temperament, his condition was sound, just going through a rangier adolescent stage 4c Grand Champion, Male; GR CH 207 BOND S CH WOTMORE INDIANA. BEN n Brown Spotted Bengal, very soft coat and well defined contrasted pattern, mature well developed body. Head has a rounded wedge, high cheeks, broad muzzle with prominent whisker pads, ideally his brow could be a little more rounded slight amount of dip over the brow, with slight break good depth chin, level bite. Very good smaller medium ears, round tips, set well. Eyes are larger rounded oval shape with slight hint of slant, good green colour. Strong neck, well muscled long strong body, deep chest, strong legs and good size paws, tail was moderately thick medium length. His coat was medium length, tends to fluff it open with excitement, soft and smooth when stroked. Body is showing well defined rosetted pattern, well marked legs, good ail rings, clearly defined facial markings, M on the brow, cheek striations, some smaller spots on the shoulders, irregular tail bands, black outer edge to the paws and well coloured heels. His overall colour is golden apricot. He has such a gentle temperament, very good condition. Korat Kitten; 1 st and BOB. 189 HAWKINS S KOORAHK KEAWE BED, This little chap is still very much a work in progress, small as yet but all in proportion, with good legs and paws, tail tapers to a pointed tip a little on the shorter side. His head still develop more as yet a little fine on the muzzle, flat forehead, requires a little more evidence of slight stop and downward curve, chin okay, baby teeth. Ears are quite large, set relatively high and alert Widens the eyes for effect to give prominence, colour still very much to develop and settle, being a more ochre changing tone as opposed to green as yet, but very much a baby so perfectly understandable at this age. Single coat a little long at present, which he exacerbates but raising along the spine line some tabby pattern evident as yet, including barring and tail rings. Even darker blue, not yet developed sheen. His condition and temperament both excellent, very vocal baby obviously his first show and a little intimidated. Korat Neuter; Considered For and Awarded BOB. 190 HAWKINS S PR KOORAHK SOUNALLY BED, younger of the two exhibits, head on more heart shaped appearance, showing good width across and between her eyes, muzzle neither too pointed nor too blunt flat brow, needs a little more downward curve in profile, chin was good and her bite level. Ears are beautifully set, moderately large, rounded tips, flared base. Her eyes certainly dominate, being large and a lovely luminous green tone and this was a deciding factor. Body though not large was weighty for size, slim legs, small paws, tail slightly short, tapered to a slightly more pointed tip. Single coat, good shorter length, laying close and fine. The 6

colour was a mid sound blue softened a little by the silvery sheen evident, she has an attempt at the language but did not appear as accomplished at it as the kitten above. Interesting as though she had a bed, I really don t know why as the exhibit wasn t in it and the bed was in the litter tray? Also considered for BOB. 191 EVANS S GR PR KANZONA SULEIKA Larger more mature girl, head is broader across the eyes, her muzzle a little more blunted, as a result the heart shaped appearance not so obvious, flat brow, slight stop but the actual nose is straighter, good chin and her bite level. Ears are quite large, flared base, rounded tips, set high. She does have lovely large eyes which are a very good dominant appearance, the colour though could be a more obvious definite green to create the required luminosity. Body was firm and well proportioned good semi-cobby appearance, good legs and paws, tail slightly shorter length. Single close lying coat, very good shorter length, soft sheen, but lacked the tipping required to create silvery sheen. Her condition was splendid, very subdued girl, incredibly sweet nature. Eye colour and the lack of sheen determined the placings. Oriental Red Neuter; Considered for and Awarded BOB BOSTOCK AND BOOTHS S GR PR MAZPAHS TERMINATOR Good length wedge, slight hint of pinch, longer skull, very good profile, chin was good level bite. His ears are large and set wide apart, well open base as he relaxes but does tend to bonnet a little. Eyes oriental in shape, with pleasing slant to the nose, as well as a good green to the colour. Lovely neckline, superb body it long and slender, beautifully firm, slim legs neat oval paws, well balanced length fine tail. His coat was wonderful, beautifully short, very sleek & highly polished lustrous sheen. Bright red and whilst he has a very obvious Classic based pattern, the contrast is not so heavily defined that it detracts in any way. He was in superb condition and though initially a little shy and apprehensive, soon relaxed. Lilac Point Siamese Adult; Considered for and Awarded BOB KILMARTINS GR CH METAXA DAENERYES Very attractive girl, balanced lines to her wedge, profile is very good, chin good, level bite. Ears are large and have very flared base, to complement her head lines, set well apart, good top line. Lovely eyes the shape and slant, both very oriental, impressive blue for a dilute, gentle expression. Good neckline, body was long and taut though her nipples were a little pulled, slender limbs, neat paws, good length tail. This girls coat was absolutely amazing beautifully sleek, very close and so beautifully prepared. The body colour was the most delicate magnolia colour with a wonderfully soft lustre, contrast to her points these were again quite subtle with a delicate warmth and appeared to have softened as she has matured. Her condition was splendid, wonderful temperament, thoroughly enjoys being handled. Red Point Siamese Neuter, Male; PC & BOB Not Awarded 1 st. 262 BILSBOROUGH S SULALAYA RED SKY There really was much to like about this lad, longer length wedge, very even lines, profile is a little uneven, fair chin, level bite. Ears large & set well apart, flared wide base. Eyes are a beautiful shape, with typical slant to the nose, 7

deep vivid blue colour, with an alert expression. Long neck. Body long and taut, weighty and well muscled, long slender limbs, small oval paws, beautifully long fine tail, with small but fixed terminal defect. Superb coat, it was so beautifully short and close lying, incredibly sleek with soft sheen. The body colour was near white with just the slightest hint of warmth to the surface showing well defined contrast to his red points, wonderful condition, tail defect though very small was not something I think that should be overlooked. 2 nd 261 WHITEHEAD S KEVELS PIPKIN Sadly this lad was so incredibly nervous, he really did not do himself any justice. Head has a good length wedge but he would insist on sucking in his whisker pads, and a result very pinched, very good profile, chin was firm, bite level. Ears are a very good larger size and set well apart, wide at the base. His worry tended to make him embolden his eyes, as a result these were fuller than I would have wished, the colour I would have preferred a little more intense. Body was beautifully firm and well muscled, good length of leg, oval paws, long finer tail but because of his worry he had this tucked firmly between his back legs and up his tummy line, Coat was close lying could ideally be a little shorter, points colour a very good red, the body has some warm tonal shading a very slight trace superficial spotted pattern evident. Condition was excellent and though very worried he actually has a very gentle nature. In all honesty when he was relaxed later in his pen he looked much improved but too late by then. Apricot Point Siamese Neuter; Considered for and Awarded BOB. 264 MILLAN S IMP GR PR ALDERSTAR INTERSTELLAR. SIA em. Bed Strong even beautifully balanced wedge, very good profile, chin, firm, bite good. Large ears well placed, wide complementary flare to their base, following though the lines of the wedge, beautifully set with wide top line, he has such lovely eyes shape and slant with deep vivid blue colour, with a trusting gentle expression. Long lithe well toned body, with elegant length of neck, long slender limbs, balanced by his good length fine tail. His coat could be a little shorter, beautifully sleek when out though a little inclined to fluff it open when in the pen. He has tonal shading which is very even and warm, with denser coloured points, these are a hot Sandy tone, deeper on his ears and tail. He handles superbly being so wonderfully composed and he is in lovely condition, but for future information and a little advice leave the bed at home and use non identifiable blankets which comply with show rules. Balinese Neuter; Considered for BOB Not Awarded. 265 RYAN S GR PR RIDESTAR CLAWDIUS- MAXIMUS. BAL d Red Tabby Point, Big well grown lad, but a number of issues on the day, He has a longer wedge, his muzzle a little sharp, very uneven profile, with a dip at the eye line, exacerbated by a bump on his nose, chin ebbs, no lower incissors. Ears are large, set well apart, some longer internal furnishings, good width at their base. His eyes deeper in set than I would have wished, they were also red rimmed and looked sore, the colour, has a good depth of blue. Body was well grown but was a little lacking muscle tone on his spine line, where it was a little bony, good length of leg, oval paws, tail ideally requires more length & fullness to create a more obvious plume. Coat length was 8

good, with silken fine texture. Bright red points colour contrasts well, warm tonal red body shading is not excessive, tracings just require a little more obvious definition. He was a very composed lad, his physical condition appeared sound but not 100% show condition. AC Maine Coon /Siberian Kitten; 1 st 76 GREGSON S JULESCOON SKYLA MCO n Brown Classic Tabby Maine Coon, Head shows well defined high cheeks, broad square muzzle, head is slightly shorter length though just a little longer than wide, shallow concave curve in profile, wide nose, strong broad chin emphasising the squareness of muzzle/jaw, bite level. His ears are tall and large size, enhanced, by tufted tips, wide base, well furnished interiors. Eyes round and gently oblique, green tone with slight hazel inflection. Huge and very substantial kitten and I mean very, broad chest, has some waddles on his abdomen, heavily boned legs huge paws, with tufts between his toes, flowing tail could be a little longer. Loads of coat for his young age, thick heavy undercoat, longer uneven length topcoat, excellent amount of ruff, full britches. He has very good pattern elements, well marked facials, broad leg barring, some butterfly over his shoulders, lines over his back, tail more solid. Colour has reasonable degree of warmth to his ground colour for a Brown Tabby and good contrast. He was in splendid condition and his temperament very amenable. AC Norwegian/ Somali/Turkish of Nebelung Neuter; 1 st 67 UNWIN S PR ZIVANNAZ AULD SCOTTIE MCCOO. NFO n Brown Classic Tabby and White Norwegian Forest Cat, my what a very handsome cat, very pleasing for both type and development, his head has triangular shape, virtually equilateral lines, strong profile, chin has a slight taper, level bite. Well-set ears the outer edge follows up from the lines of the chin, well furnished interiors and tufts to the tips. Eyes are oval and have a slight obliqueness to the setting, all beautifully enhanced. Strong neck, well-muscled strong body, beautifully grown and developed strong legs and paws with tufts between the toes, well balanced length tail with white tip (not that its relevant form a points perspective) bushy effect. Coat is dense with woolly undercoat, good degree of resilience to the texture to create weather-proof qualities, with plenty of longer harsher guard hairs more obvious along his back, sides and tail. He has clean white areas and was well prepared with small amount of Tabby on the muzzle and chin. Condition was splendid, shows himself off really well, such a good natured lad. 2 nd 69 THOMAS AND BARTLEY S IMP GR PR NOYNAROCK NED STARK. NFO n Brown Classic Tabby and White Norwegian Forest Cat, another handsome lad though not the overall stature and development of the winner. Head has triangular shape not as equilateral as the winner, very good profile, tapered chin, bite good. Ears are large, tufted tips, set well, well furnished interiors, his eyes looked lovely the black rims enhanced their oval shape and slant, attractive green colour (not that it matters). Body strong., well proportioned well boned legs and paws, bushy tail of well balanced length. Coat length and density both very good, some ruff and full knickerbockers, woolly undercoat, good all weather top coat, his clean white contrasted well by his Brown Classic pattern and was beautifully clean and bright. Excellent condition, 9

gentle nature. The draped blanket is not a good idea, the majority of judges and stewards react to these as an indication that the exhibit may be difficult! 3 rd 66 THOMAS AND BARTLEY NOYNAROCK SEVERUS SNAPE. NFO ns Black Silver Classic Tabby and White Norwegian Forest Cat, interesting chap, he has super type, but not yet the stature required to compete with the more mature lads, white tail tip. AV SLH Radius Neuter; 1 st 103 HOLDEN S MUSRAPHY KAZIMIR. SIB n Brown Spotted Tabby Siberian, well young he may be (actually very) but he has all the requirements of his breed, and since I saw him last as a kitten has matured really well and has made a seamless transition to the grown up section. His head shows maturity way beyond his young age, short broad wedge well developed roundness to his low cheeks, good muzzle with gently rounded prominence, he has a gentle dome effect to the brow, slight concave curve at the nasal bridge, uniform width to his nose, chin rounds a little though the depth is actually very good, level bite. His ears are medium, size at least an ears width apart on his broad head, longer furnishings, to the interiors. Eyes are large oval shape with a little more depth to the lower line, good width between their slightly oblique setting. Strong muscular neck, body already with excellent heft and substance, deep chest, strong flanks, heavily boned legs, large paws, tufts between the toes, broader base, with slight taper and beautifully bushy, could possibly be a little longer. Coat full and beautifully prepared, full ruff already evident, it has a wonderful density and a degree of springy resilience which looked like it could endure the harshest of weather, thick undercoat, shorter top coat overt the shoulders, lengthening along his back and side with harsher top coat, super condition, amazing temperament, quality exhibit in spite of his young age, proving if required that title alone is not an indication of placement. 2 nd 67 UNWIN S PR ZIVANNAZ AULD SCOTTIE MCCOO. His preparation is superb. Wonderful type and composure, I have no words left, I think he is a truly superb ambassador not only for his breed but also the section. As good as he has ever looked, amazingly composed temperament. Wonderful. 2 nd 27 WHITBY S CH AND IMP GR PR SUCETTE WISHY WASHY. SBI g Blue Tortie Birman, stunning girl difficult to put down to 2 nd. She was looking superb. Type is beautiful width across her well developed cheeks, excellent muzzle, round in her skull, slight dip to her nose, good chin and level bite. Her ears are medium size, rounded tips, set well apart, Gorgeous eyes, beautiful near round shape vivid blue, gorgeous expression. Very good weight for size, with well proportioned legs and bushy tail, would benefit with a little more length. Her coat was wonderful like a fluffy cloud in her pen, super silken texture, full ruff framing her face. Body has the lightest hint of shading, to her 10

cool toned body it was just beautiful, points a combination of blue and cream with both colours evident on all points. Clean white feet markings, well matched gloves and socks, tapered gauntlets to a little below the hocks. Amazing condition and wonderful gentle nature, just lovely and so very feminine and sweet, ran the winner really close. No shame at all in coming 2 nd to him. X2 nd 59 DINSDALE S OLYB IMP GR PR DIZZIPAWS ZEMO. Welldefined downward curve to his slightly retroussé nose, good depth chin, level bite. Ears are medium size, wide apart and slight forward tilt, good internal furnishing. Lovely eyes a good shade of and depth of blue, well open shape, in a gently oblique setting. Extremely substantial chap, most impressive size and development, heavily boned legs and large paws, bushy tail, just slightly short for his substantial body. His coat was superbly well prepared, density was excellent, silky and well-prepared, abundant without being overlay profuse. Cool toned glacial coat, minimal lightest hint of shading, good blue points colour, clean white chin extending though chest & tummy, white mittens to the angle of the legs white back legs to the hocks. Superb condition, worthy of higher than this placing indicates so, so unlucky to be in this level of competition. 3 rd 93 COX S IMP GR PR COONARIA SPICE OF LIFE. MCO f X3 rd 39 WILLIS S RAGZNDREAMS MOSES. RAG d 3b Adult; 1 st 168 DIXON S MELKELTER ORINOCO FLO CHA Chartreux won the class due to her very good type and greater development. Though her head has still to acquire more width across her cheeks, she is very much in keeping with her age, rounded brow, slight break at the eye line, chin was good and her bite level. Medium size ears, good width between for her young age. Her eyes are well open and whilst the colour has still to fully settle it is heading in the right direction and has a most pleasing amber/orange tone already evident. Body is deceptively weighty, good legs and paws, balanced tail. Coat shorter length, good density. Her colour was even if not quite perfectly sound. Condition was splendid, such a gentle natured miss, more maturity can only work to her advantage. 2 nd 165 STEAD S HAYLANA BONAVISTA DREAM SRL ns Black Smoke LH Selkirk Rex, still to acquire more masculine head type, and more fullness at the cheeks, his muzzle lacks definition and needs to stand away more from his cheeks, not the required matchbox appearance, some evidence of break, chin could be a little deeper, bite good. His ears are a little on the smaller side and still a little high, tufted tips. Eyes need a little more rounded appearance. Body long and rather rangy still to broaden and fill to acquire more rectangular shape, legs and paws need more substantial bone, tail finer than ideal. Good length coat, flatter over his back area tighter round the neck and britches. His condition was excellent, gentle, good natured lad but lacks substance and development at present. 3b Neuter; 1 st 173 FISHER S XZIBIT HAIRY BIKER. BLH e Cream LH British, this lad has a wonderful presence. Very British in appearance, with his well 11

developed fullness at the cheeks, rounded brow, strong muzzle, frim chin, level bite. Ears are set well apart, smaller medium size, rounded tips some internal furnishing. Eyes large and well open round shape, lovely bright coppery orange tone. Very substantial body, broad chest, heavily boned legs and large paws, tail heavy a little short for his body proportions, coat was superbly prepared, soft requiring a little more resilience, full ruff, & looking very showy, he literally didn t have a hair out of place.. His colour is soft and even. impressively sound and virtually free from any excess pattern. He looked superbly composed and relaxed, with the very gentlest of temperaments, very handsome and looking so typically British, clear winner in this class and was I understand the Section Neuter winner 2 nd 166 WALKER AND CREATON S NOONTIDE JACKSON SUNRUNNER. SRL e Cream LH Selkirk Rex, at less than 10 months, he was showing excellent maturity, head is developing well, he was showing good width across his cheeks, has reasonable prominence to the muzzle, flat plane to the brow, which is just a tad heavy, straight nose, good chin, level bite. Medium size ears tighter internal furnishing, tufts to the tips. His eyes are reasonably round, could be a little larger, very good colour (albeit no points), no doubt exacerbated by the heavier brow. Body is very well grown and has weight and substance rectangular shape, good breadth chest, well proportioned limbs, good legs and paws, balanced tail. Very good coat, though it is corded as opposed to soft and plush, due to the corded effect if does not stand away, so well from the body. The cording is very dense particularly the ruff throat, britches area. He was in super condition and has a gentle nature. 3 rd 167 WALKER AND CREATON S NOONTIDE FAE PETAL SPRITE. SRL g Section 4 Debutante Adult; 1 st 186 LINCOLN S LINCZOZO GERY ABY o BED Sorrel Abyssinian, this girl won the class by default the other exhibit was too stressed to handle. Head shows gentle rounding to its contours. Slight indent from her muzzle into the cheeks, slightly rounded brow, with shallow break at the eye line, chin firm a little too much so and her bite slipping under. Ears are moderately large and well cupped, pricked alert. Her eyes are wide almond, slight slant, Body small as yet, but she is only just out of being a kitten, very lithe, fine boned limbs, small paws, tail also fine. Her coat was very short and fine, lying close. Ticking was evident, but the banding not very apparent, bar free. Warm colour but it could be brighter and richer, some heel markings in a warmer tone. Condition and temperament both excellent. 4a Kitten; 1 st 180 STARK S DUSHENKA ZINERVA. RUS a Russian Blue, BED, she has a marginally longer wedge from the eyes down, though possibly attributable to her slightly finer muzzle due to the whisker pads, requiring more overall prominence, profile has slight angle and ideally her chin could be a little deeper, bite good. Ears are moderately, large beautifully set, pricked high, lightly furnished interiors. Her eyes are a very good green, wide almond shape, showing slight hint of slant. Body is lithe and elegant, good length, stands well on slender limbs, oval paws, her tail was also a good length and balanced well, slight taper. Coat showing double qualities, though ideally I would like thicker 12

undercoat, soft fine top-coat. Mid blue colour, still some tail rings, still to acquire more translucent tipping. Her condition was excellent and her temperament alert and confident. 2 nd 184 CHAPMAN S ADAUGFO STAR S PICCOLO. ABY n Usual Abyssinian, this girl has moderate wedge, gentle contours, medium length, curve at the cheeks, gentle rounding to her muzzle and slight indent to the cheeks, gently rounded brow, hint of break, small nose bump, chin and bite both good. Attractive eyes, wide almond shape, slight slant to her nose, hazel amber tone, dark rims. Ears are moderately large, pricked and well cupped. Body is lithe and well toned, medium proportions, slender limbs, oval paws, tail thicker base and slight taper. Coat was short, slight amount of resistance, Her ticking though evident could be more defined and her banding was somewhat knocked out due to her rather dark colour, it was lacking in brightness and colder in tone than I would wish. Some heel markings and solid coloured tail tip. The undercoat lacked the rich apricot tone. Condition and temperament both excellent, though somewhat wriggly. 3 rd 189 HAWKINS S KOORAHK KEAWE. KOR. Section 4 Debutante Neuter; 1 st 209. MORELAND S TOBYSDEN VINCERO. BEN n Brown Spotted Bengal, apologies transposed part of my report, well grown though still to mature & fill out more fully, long body, well proportioned legs and paws, medium thickness tail. just to bulk up more fully, Head is a little narrow across the cheeks, well developed puffiness to the whisker pads, slightly rounded on the top, with very slight break, chin firm, bite good. The ears are medium size, rounded tips, still to widen off a little more. Eyes are large rounded oval shape, the colour has a slightly more hazel/green tone, black rims. The best coat of all the Bengals on the day, it was medium length, beautifully dense and with a very luxurious quality, very soft to the touch. Well marked facials, striped cheeks, spotted whisker pads, M to the brow, pattern is beautifully with elongated pulled rosettes, with some smaller ones towards the tummy, spotted tummy, very good leg barring, and strong tail bands, rich coloured outline to the rosettes, warmer inner area on ruddy golden ground colour, dark heels, black outer edges to the paws and black tail tip. In super condition and wonderful temperament. Section 6 Kitten; 1 st 251 KEOGHAN S ALDERSTAR LITTLE-MY. OSH a Blue Oriental Bi-Colour, this girls more mature finish gave her the edge today, strong wide wedge, very good head length, excellent profile, good depth chin. Very large ears with very wide flared base, abundant width between, excellent top line. Eyes have oriental shape, with slant to her nose, colour just makes green, hopefully this will deepen as she matures but green nevertheless. Elegant length of neck, long taut body, beautifully toned, slender limbs, oval paws, good length fine tail to finish. Her coat was tight fitting, beautifully close and excellent shorter length. She about 40-45% white to Colour, with clean white tummy line her blue is sound though she does have quite an amount of scattered white hairs but extremely difficult to resolve due to the shorter length, she has the odd tiny fleck of blue, including a tiny nose fleck. Condition splendid, her temperament sound. 13

2 nd 239 DEAN S ENIGMATIC MYSTIFIED. OSH n Oriental Black. Lovely type and very unlucky that her competition was older and more developed. She is a very attractive baby with a great deal of potential. Nicely balanced wedge, with even lines, near straight profile, good chin. Ears are beautifully set, wide and low but without extremes, wide flared base, complementing the wedge. Lovely eyes, shape and set both very pleasing, with a very obvious green colour. Body is lithe and taut, very well toned and in keeping with her age, slender fine boned legs and paws, long fine tail. Coat beautifully short and close lying, sleek glossy finish. Sound black colour just some thinner areas over her head where it looks like she has obviously come off worst in her scraps. Wonderful condition and superb temperament a real delight these two girls could easily reverse each other and possibly will as they both mature. End of Report 14
