6 Show - Conditions of Entry 1) The Show is judged under the standardised guidelines laid down by the Exhibition Poultry Association of NSW Inc. Any person found guilty of any malpractice will be reported to the State Controlling Body. 2) The Committee reserves the right to refuse or cancel any entry without disclosing the reason. 3) All entries are to be the bona fide property of the Exhibitor 4) No fraudulent practice will be allowed. Every exhibitor shall be deemed to be, and will be held, responsible for the condition in which his exhibit appears in the Show pen. Diseased or vermin affected birds will be removed at the discretion of the Chief Steward. 5) Leg bands and tags must be removed prior to judging. 6) No eggs are to be removed from the pens EXCEPT by the Stewards. 7) No bird may be removed from its pen without the permission of the Chief Steward and then only with a Steward in attendance. 8) Exhibitors and onlookers are to refrain from talking to or otherwise distracting the Judge & Stewards. Offenders will be removed from the Pavilion. Judging sticks are to be used by the JUDGES ONLY. 9) Junior Exhibitor classes are restricted to exhibitors under 18 years at the time of the Show. Junior Exhibitors MUST pen their own exhibits. Junior Exhibitors may exhibit in Open Classes 10) Due care is taken, but the Association will not be responsible for any accident, loss or damage arising from any cause. All exhibits are entered at the risk of the Exhibitor. 11) Birds entered in wrong classes will not be judged. 12) If 5 or more of the same variety or colour are entered in the AC, AOV or AOC classes, a new class will be made. Please state variety or colour on the entry form. 13) Birds in Breeding Pair classes will not be eligible for major awards. 14) Judges who officiate are not to exhibit birds in the breed classes they are judging. 15) Judging is by the Australian Poultry Standards. 8 Auction Terms and Conditions 1) A Vendor Fee of $2.00 per lot (Max. 2 birds or group of babies) is payable with the consignment form. 2) All birds are to be penned by Sunday 2 nd September 9:30am. 3) Auction will commence at 10:00am. 4) Please indicate on the Auction Consignment Form the time you are penning your birds, either: a. Saturday 4pm to 6pm b. Sunday 8am to 9:30am 5) Any bird infected by sickness, vermin (including scaly leg) disease or deemed not fit for public auction will be removed from the pavilion. 6) Lots will be auctioned in class order as per the 2018 Spring Show Schedule. 7) All birds will be sold per lot. 8) Hawkesbury District Agricultural Association takes no responsibility for incorrect descriptions of any lots or any claims made by vendors. 9) All bidders must be registered prior to the Auction. Please register at the Poultry Pavilion Office prior to the Auction to collect your Bidder Number. 10) In the event of a disputed bid the Auctioneer is the sole arbitrator of the successful bidder, alternatively the Auctioneer may decide to put the lot up again. 11) The Auctioneer s decision in final. 12) Loss or injury to any bird remains the liability of the vendor until the hammer falls in the Auction, upon which the purchaser assumes responsibility. 13) Payment for Auction purchases will only be accepted via cash or credit card / EFTPOS. 14) Lots cannot be collected prior to the completion of the Auction. 15) Purchased lots may only be collected upon presentation of an official receipt for payment and under the supervision of a steward. 16) Whilst all care will be taken, HDAA takes nor responsibility for any loss or injury to any bird. 17) ALL LOTS AUCTIONED WILL BE SOLD EXCLUSIVE OF GST. IF THE SELLER IS GST REGISTERED, THIS WILL BE ANNOUNCED PRIOR TO THE LOT BEING OFFERED FOR SALE AND THE SALE PRICE WILL ATTRACT 10% GST. 18) A commission of 10% of the sale price will apply and will be deducted prior to settlement with the seller.
