TROPHY PRESENTATION APPROXIMATELY 4:30pm SATURDAY 8 th NOVEMBER POULTRY EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE Entry to the Showgrounds by ALL Poultry Exhibitors shall be via the LOCKYER AVENUE NORTH (Poultry) GATE 2 PARKING ON THE SHOWGROUNDS IS PROHIBITED However, Poultry exhibitors who are Society members and who have taken the parking option will be permitted to park in the parking area directly opposite the Saggers Poultry Pavilion. Non-members will be asked to pay for parking. (Refer to showground map in schedule for more details) Page 2 of 10

3 Entry Fees: Single classes $1.10, Pair classes $2.20 Entries Close 5:00pm at the Secretary s Office, Wednesday 29 th October No late entries accepted ENTRIES TO: The Secretary, Albany Agricultural Society Incorporated Post Office Box 392, Albany WA 6331 Section Enquiries: Dianne Bell RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 1. Once sufficient entries have been received to fill pens, NO further entries can be or will be accepted. 2. The Poultry pavilion will be open at 7:00am by the Chief Steward for Poultry for the receival of exhibits. 3. Birds must be penned, ready for judging by 8:30am Friday, 7 th November All carrying boxes are to be REMOVED from pavilion once penning has been completed. 5. Feeding and watering of birds is the exhibitor s responsibility and WATER CONTAINERS MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE JUDGING commences. 6. Infested or diseased birds will be disqualified and will be removed from the pavilion. 7. ALL EXHIBITS shall be under the care of the Chief Steward for the duration of the Show, and NO BIRD MAY BE REMOVED FROM IT'S PEN, EITHER BY IT'S OWNER OR ANY OTHER PERSON without permission from the Chief Steward, except for the purpose of judging. 8. Eggs laid by any exhibit during the Show duration shall be deemed the property of the Society and shall be REMOVED BY SHOW OFFICIALS and cracked unless prior arrangements are made by the owner. 9. Birds put up for sale must be done through the Chief Steward, and if sold must not be removed until the specified time. 10. NO BIRDS ARE PERMITTED TO BE REMOVED PRIOR TO 5:00pm, SATURDAY 8 th NOVEMBER The Albany Agricultural Society shall cease to be responsible for birds which are not removed within one (1) hour of closing time. 12. All birds will be judged according to the Australian Poultry Standard and placing of major awards will be given at the Judges discretion and their decision shall be final.
