2 OPEN POULTRY SHOW RULES AND CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITORS THIS IS AN IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR EXHIBITORS. FACILITIES FOR UNLOADING ARE PROVIDED BY THE ENTRANCE TO THE EXHIBITION BUT EXHIBITORS MUST REMOVE THEIR VEHICLES BEFORE PENNING THEIR BIRDS. PLEASE CO-OPERATE WITH THE STEWARDS Judging : 9.30am Release :4.30pm Admission to the show will be free to all those exhibitors whose entries amount to 6.00 and above. Free Car Parking. A STAMPED AND ADDRESSED ENVELOPE must be included for a Car Pass and Admission Ticket Show Entry Fees are : 1.70 per entry for Birds and 40p per plate of eggs JUVENILE IS 1.00 PER ENTRY Cheques made payable to J. DN22 9NH Tel: djkay_autumn.show@yahoo.com ENTRIES CLOSE FRIDAY 16TH SEPTEMBER 2016 All stock entered for this show and sale must be the property of exhibitor/vendor and not imported in the preceding 28 days and have been kept on their premises for at least this period of time. The welfare of the stock is the responsibility of the exhibitor. Whilst the greatest possible care will be taken for all exhibits the Society accepts no responsibility for them and it is a condition of entry that the exhibitor indemnifies the Society against all claims for injury, loss or damage. The Society will not be responsible for baskets, crates, boxes or other property of the exhibitors, either at the show or during transit, and the cost of any loss or damage must be borne by the exhibitor. Exhibits found to be unhealthy on arrival will not be exhibited but will be immediately removed and returned to the owners, and entry fees will be forfeited. The committee reserves the right to appoint another judge in the event of an appointed judge being unable to officiate. In addition to the foregoing general poultry section rules it is a condition of entry that the poultry section shall form part of the Autumn Show and all exhibitors are subject to and agree to abide by the Regulations of the East of England Agricultural Society and Code of Practice for the Safety and Accident Prevention. The entry forms must be signed by the exhibitor/vendor and this signifies that the rules have been read and accepted by them.

8 SALE OF STOCK The sale will consist of quality pure bred stock and any entries that are considered to be inferior or unfit will be removed from the sale and returned to the vendor and the entry fees will be forfeited. All stock entered for this sale must be the property of the vendor and have been on their premises for a minimum of 28 days. ENTRIES MUST BE IN BREEDING PENS EITHER PAIRS OR TRIOS BUT DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND PENS OF HENS AND PULLETS WILL AGAIN BE ACCEPTED Sale stock is arranged in six classes : Class A Turkeys or Geese Class B Heavy or Light Breed Ducks Class C Bantam/Call/Ornamental Ducks Class D Large Fowl Class E Miniature Fowl/True Bantams Class F Pea Fowl Etc Penning Fee : 4 per PAIR/ 6 per TRIO All sales must be conducted through the Stewards and birds must not be removed from the cages without a steward being present Stewards will be on duty all day to assist both the Vendors and the Purchasers.
