All exhibits to be penned by 5.00 p.m. Friday, 25th August. This rule will be strictly supervised by the Tribunal. (Stewards will be in attendance from 4.00 p.m. on Friday, 25th August.) Sheep must be grazed on pastures under natural rainfall to the district from which they are brought and no exhibit shall be considered as grass fed which shall have been artificially fed in any way at any time during the year immediately preceding the Show, or kept as a pet. Provided that any sheep fed or housed for a period not exceeding 21 days immediately previous to exhibition shall not be deemed to be artificially fed, always provided that sheep are not rugged. 3 RULES & REGULATIONS CONTINUED The use of Vitamin A is allowed. Ram entries to be Brucellosis Accredited Free. All exhibits to be free of external parasites. Owners declaration on Ovine Johne's Disease. See notes on Ovine Johne s Disease page 19 and 21. All exhibits must have been the property of the exhibitor for at least six (6) months prior to the date of the Show, except in the case of sheep purchased with a property within the district, when the purchaser shall be subject to the same conditions as the vendor would have been had he not sold the property. The Society may demand a declaration on any of the above points. The Society retains the right to limit the number of entries from exhibitors to two per class. Exhibitors are requested to fill in all particulars on the entry forms. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to see that sheep are entered according to wool count. Counts will be strong, 58 down, medium and fine 60 upwards, at the shoulder. Judging will commence at 8.00 a.m. on Saturday, 26th August. Exhibitors are requested to co-operate and have their exhibits to hand early. No exhibit shall be entered in more than one class (Classes 35 and 38 excepted). In sheep classes, the Judge shall be the deciding authority, disregarding Clause 5 in Rules and Regulations. All sheep exhibitors must be in charge of their exhibits at judging and will be responsible for their feeding and water. N.B: Sucker teeth means sucker teeth only. Two tooth means not more than two permanent teeth. Four tooth means not more than four permanent teeth. Autumn shorn sheep will not be permitted to compete for the Grand Championship. Exhibitors in the 2018 Show are notified that Sheep must be shorn between 15th July 2017 and 15th October Suckers optional if dropped after 15th October.
