4 EWES A breeding ewe trade which was extremely difficult. Plenty of men looking on, but not so many bidding. Runs of tidy Suffolk X ewes were making between 130 and 146 to average late 130 s. Cheviot X North Country Mule yearling Ewes to 140. Texel yearling Ewes sold to 132. Average, to include a lot of ewes that were showing the effect of the weather and lack of keep, 125 per head.
