We share this pavilion with 5 other specialist breed clubs on the day. Early receipt of entries allows for proper logistical planning and may avoid disappointment in the event pen numbers are exceeded. 2 Rules and Regulations 1. This show is conducted as part of the Noel Matthews Memorial Poultry Club (NMMPC) and any rules and regulations imposed by that association are deemed applicable to the Rhode Island Club of Australia Queensland Branch on the day of the show. 2. The Rhode Island Club of Australia Queensland Branch will not be responsible for any accident, loss or damage to exhibits. 3. Birds may be penned between 6.30am and 8.30am on the morning of the show or on the preceding afternoon from 2.00pm to 8.30pm. 4. Judging to commence at 8.30am on the morning of the show. From commencement to completion of judging, exhibits may only be handled by judges and stewards unless permission is obtained from the Chief Steward or Show Secretary. 5. The judges decision shall be final. Any person displaying behaviour deemed by the committee to be unsportsmanlike in manner, or offensive to judges, officials and other exhibitors, may be expelled from the pavilion and their exhibits disqualified. 6. The committee reserves the right to reject any entry without assigning a reason. 7. Sick or vermin ridden fowls are to be removed from the pavilion. 8. Entries will not be accepted from exhibitors residing in any Newcastle Disease quarantine area. 9. Although not a requirement, it is highly recommended that all leg bands or other identifying markers be removed from birds before the commencement of judging. 10. The committee reserves the right to appoint substitute judges as necessary. 11. Please note that birds entered in pair classes are not eligible for major awards. 12. Clean water receptacles will be provided by the club and watering cans will be available for use. Feeding is the responsibility of exhibitors
