3 209 th ANNUAL SHOW General Information All communications must be addressed to: The Show Secretary, Mrs Janet M Raw, 15 Bridge Street, Otley, West Yorkshire, LS21 1BQ, Tel or Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to: Wharfedale Agricultural Society. Exhibitors please note the following:- Please note! Please note! All exhibitors/entrants MUST cleanse and disinfect their show crates or baskets before the Show, on returning home and before using again for any other bird(s). It is recommended that a Transport Certificate should be completed when bringing birds to the Show. Entries will not be acknowledged but all numbers and information will be forwarded to exhibitors at least 7 days prior to the Show. These MUST BE CHECKED immediately and exhibitors must at once return all correspondence to the Secretary if they believe there is a mistake, as these cannot be rectified on show day. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to ensure that their entries are correct. Exhibitors will be sent one Admission ticket with FIVE entries and one Admission ticket and Car Pass with SIX entries or more. Additional tickets can be purchased at reduced rates before Show Day and exhibitors wishing to do so should complete the space provided on the entry form. Blue Badge Holders are NOT PERMITTED on the showfield. They should apply to the Secretary in writing quoting their Blue Badge Pass number and car registration number to request the appropriate showground pass. NO DOGS will be allowed in the marquee at any time. Exhibits must be penned before 8.45 am and no exhibits will be admitted to the marquee after that time. The marquee will be closed for judging promptly at 9.30 am and exhibits must remain until 4.30 pm. Egg Exhibits not collected by 5.00 pm will be removed by the Stewards. There must be a minimum of 4 entries in each class otherwise only 2 prizes will be awarded. The Society reserves the right to cancel or amalgamate any classes where necessary (rule 7). In Classes for Male or Female please state Sex of Bird. All Trophies awarded to be held until April 1 st, 2019 upon which date they must be returned to the Secretary of the Society.
