3 CLOSING DATE AND DELIVERY OF EXHIBITS Entries close with the Show Secretary at 3.00 pm on Monday, 6 th May Exhibits in the Cage Bird Section must be delivered to the Steward no later than 7.30 am on Saturday 11 th May 2019 ENTRY FEE $1.00 per exhibit. SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR CAGE BIRDS Exhibitors' vehicles may be brought into the grounds on the morning of the show for delivery of birds but must be removed from the grounds by 8.00 am. All persons to have gate tickets or member's ticket to enter grounds. All birds to be staged in clean standard show cases one bird per cage. Exhibitors must provide necessary drinking vessels and feeders. Standard floor coverings: Budgerigars - mixed bird seed Finches - mix seed Canaries - white paper Parrots - parrot mix Neophemas - budgie mix All birds entered in Young Bird classes must be owned and bred by the Exhibitor. All young birds to be rung with current year ring red. Stewards reserve the right to check ring numbers of any exhibit. Class tickets available from the Chief Steward are to be placed at the bottom left hand corner of showcase. Champion certificate for Grand Champion - Canary - Budgerigar - Finch - Parrot - Miscellaneous Prizemoney: 1 st $2.00; 2 nd $1.00 (if 3 or more entries in the class). Cage Bird Pavilion will close at 7.00 pm on Saturday 11 th May. Exhibits may be removed before 7.00 pm on Saturday 11 th May or by arrangement with the Chief Steward. For security reasons, birds may only be removed with the supervision of a Steward, GENERAL CONDITIONS Entry fees must accompany entries. Late entries will not be accepted. Exhibits are not to be removed during the Show. Exhibits entered in a wrong class may be transferred at the discretion of the Chief Steward. The Chief Steward has the right to accept or refuse any exhibit. The Chief Steward s decision regarding the removal of an exhibit or exhibitor from the Showground will be final. In all matters regarding exhibits and exhibitors in the Cage Bird Pavilion, the decision of the Chief Steward of the Cage Bird Pavilion is final. All exhibits shall remain the property of the exhibitor. Permission is assumed to reproduce images of any exhibit for publicity purposes. Every care will be taken with exhibits but no responsibility will be accepted. Prize money not collected by Monday 13 th May 2019 will be forfeited to Grafton Show. 3
