2 Phone Bidding The Pied Society welcomes phone bidding on the day however arrangements must be made prior to Thursday 17th September 2015, to Chris on or AUCTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The sale is an unreserved auction of birds listed in the catalogue. 2. The Auctioneer reserves the right to accept or refuse any bid or bids without having to state any reason or reasons thereof. 3. The highest bidder shall be the Buyer. In the event of a dispute the lot may be submitted for auction again at the Auctioneers Discretion. In any event, the Auctioneer s decision shall be final. 4. Prior to the commencement of the Auction each intending Buyer shall record their name and contact details in the Bidders Register and shall be allotted a numbered Bidders Number Card. 5. Representations contained in the Sale Catalogue are made in good faith but such information shall not be relied upon and INTENDING BUYERS MUST SATISFY THEMSELVES AS TO THE SEX, COLOUR,VARIETY, ORIGIN, AGE & CONDITION OF ANY LOT IN WHICH THEY MAY BE INTERESTED. 6. Neither the Vendor, PIED SOCIETY OF AUSTRALASIA nor the Auctioneer shall be responsible for faults or defects in any lot. 7. The birds on display must not be interfered with or subjected to judging sticks, pens or other similar objects. 8. Bidders must ensure that their bids are correctly acknowledged by the Auctioneer. 9. Upon the fall of the hammer the successful Buyer must advise the Auctioneer of his/her Bidder Number. An invoice will be prepared immediately and placed on the invoice board under the Bidder s Number. 10. Upon the fall of the hammer, each lot shall be at the Buyer s risk however property shall not pass until the purchase money is paid in full. 11. At the end of the Auction, each Buyer should proceed to the payment table. They will be handed their invoices for checking and then make payment in cash, cheque or credit card. 12. No accounts will be settled until the last lot is sold. Please do not queue at the payment table until the end of the auction. 13. CHEQUES AND CREDIT CARD WILL BE ACCEPTED BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY. CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS WILL INCUR A 5% FEE. 14. Birds may be collected on presentation of the receipted invoice at the collection point. 15. Buyers will be required to transfer their birds from the show cages to their own caging facilities. The Vendor, Auctioneer or stewards will not handle the birds once they are sold. 16. Buyers carrying cages will not be permitted into the main body of the Auction Hall until the conclusion of the Auction. 17. No lot shall be removed from the Auction Hall until the conclusion of the Auction. SHOW CAGES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE PRICE AND ARE NOT FOR SALE. PLEASE REMAIN SEATED AND DO NOT LINE UP AT THE PAYMENT TABLE UNTIL THE END OF THE AUCTION - THANKYOU.
