1 Dear Visitor, I hope that you will enjoy your visit to The National Exhibition and Parrot Society Sale Day where you will see a vast selection of birds from hobbyist breeders and be able to purchase stock from the 800 sales tables. The National Exhibition takes place in the Argyle and Sandylands Centres and once judging has been completed around 1.00 pm access to all exhibits will be allowed in the afternoon. Our sponsor Johnston and Jeff Ltd has both contributed to the running of the event and donated a tonne of seed as prizes for the exhibitors, the entry wrist bands and the beautiful blue and red rosettes that bear their name. Without their strong support this exhibition would not have grown so quickly into The National Exhibition. To be sure that you see everything you must make a point of visiting the Prestwood, Argyle and Sandylands Centres via the canvas tunnel that is located to the left of Stand 1. When you purchase breeding stock please make sure that you make a note of the seller s name, their table number and telephone number so that if you wish to contact them you can do that without having to contact our office days after the event. Always have an appropriate sized carrying box for your bird and complete the purchase in one transaction. There is a Holding Room located to the left of the gents toilets in Bingley Hall this is provided so that you can place your purchases in a safe, quiet environment and not carry them around the halls, thus improving bird welfare. Page 42 Bulk seed and wire are available outside the hall. PLEASE DO NOT SMOKE AT THE SHOW and put your litter in the bins provided. The Parrot Society stand faces you as you enter Bingley Hall.
