2 Welcome to the State Simmental Sale! MSA Queen Farewell from Martha Moenning Thank you two words that mean so much, yet cannot begin to express my appreciation. Serving as the Simmental Queen was an honor and blessing. I enjoyed and cherished every minute I represented the Simmental breed this past year. Some of the highlights of my experience were seeing a child s curiosity for agriculture ignite during a school visit. At junior nationals, I witnessed a young girl turn her nerves into excitement through the AJSA mentorship program. During state fair, I saw the dreams of juniors come true in the show ring. Every moment was a constant reminder of how special the Simmental breed is. However, it is more than just the cattle we raise, it s the wonderful people that embrace this business. I would like to personally thank the Simmental Association and Junior Simmental Association for this opportunity. Additionally, I would like to express my appreciation to Deb Claeys, Princess: Madilyn Latzke, and my family for the helping me throughout the year. Once again, thank you!
