We have a fine selection of well-bred puppies, nice started dogs, and excellently trained hunting dogs for sale. The dogs we offer for sale range in price based on the following: breed of dog, breeding and pedigree, age, experience, and most importantly, the dog's individual hunting skills. We believe our dogs to be in excellent health, but you are certainly welcome to have your veterinarian examine any of our dogs that you wish to purchase. Information published on each of our dogs is totally my opinion. This brochure will feature most of the trained dogs we presently have for sale. Upon request, we will be most happy to pictures of specific dogs we feature for sale. 2 THE PECAN TREE KENNEL Since 1962, The Pecan Tree Kennel has been providing a complete and professional bird dog sales and training service to our many valued friends and fellow bird hunters around the United States and several foreign countries. We strive to be the innovator and the leader in our field. The Pecan Tree Kennel is located sixty miles northwest of Houston in the small town of Bellville, Texas. We have a state-of-the-art kennel facility, built on 122 acres of land covered with lush natural quail habitat. We specialize in the training, leasing, and sale of English Pointers, English Setters, Brittany Spaniels, German Shorthair Pointers, Boykin Spaniels, and several other popular breeds of bird dogs. In our effort to remain a leader and innovator in our profession, in 1995 The Pecan Tree Kennel expanded its services to include the leasing of a fully trained bird dog(s) by the day, the week, the month, or for the entire season. Leasing of bird dogs has become a Smashing Hit!! I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that "The Best Is Yet To Come"!! Our kennel facilities are State-of-the-Art. Our kennels are thoughtfully designed and constructed to provide each dog with the maximum in safety and health conditions. Our main pens are constructed of chain-link fencing on a concrete slab and roofed. Each pen features a 5' x 10' run with large frame dog houses entering out the back side of the run. All pens have self-feeders, waterers, and are equipped with electricity and connected to a septic system. Our barrel pens are individual runs on dirt and covered with a roof area. Constructed of weather resistant rubber dog house, each dog is individually fed and watered each day. Our training staff is very professional and we employ a respected Veterinary Clinic to assist our kennel with the most up to date health care available. 10/30/2013 Page 2

Our breeding program has a goal of producing top quality hunting dogs so it is very important to analyze the qualities of the selected Dam and Sire being considered for our breeding program. The selection of the Dam and Sire to be mated is based heavily on each dog s respective hunting abilities in the field. Secondly, we give consideration for each dog s pedigree, size, color, body conformation, and the style of the Dam and Sire. As I have previously stated, our goal is to produce a puppy that has an above-average opportunity to develop into an outstanding hunting dog. The Pecan Tree Kennel is presently offering several nice Pointer, Setter, Brittany Spaniels, and German Shorthair puppies for sale. Our puppies sell extremely fast, simply because so many of our puppy buyers are very familiar with the hunting abilities of the respective Dams and Sires. Our puppies are priced based on age as follows: $ to $ Six weeks to ten weeks of age $ to $ Ten weeks to eight months of age Puppies over eight months of age will sell as started dogs and their prices will be based on the degree of training and ability at the time of the sale.
