2 1 Serena has been a crowd favorite ever since she entered the sale ring at the Field of Dreams and each show she claimed a banner. This awesome donor continues to ecel with her super producing ability. Her progeny have been among the winners at shows such as the Sweepstakes and others across the country. The list of winners and donor females in many herds and continues to grow and the family success is one of a kind. In the 2016 Sweepstakes a pregnancy sold for $12,500 going to Dillion Simmentals. In the 2017 Summer Stakes a pregnancy sold for $10,000 going to Martin Livestock and a granddaughter sold in the sale for $9,750. This year ClearWater Simmentals and Trennepohl Farms offer a seed heifer pregnancy out of the Serena and the 2018 Reserve Grand Champion bull at the National Western, Hammer Time. As the Sweepstakes prepares to host the 2019 AJSA National Classic, we appreciate ClearWater and Trennepohl for donating this pregnancy with all proceeds doing to support the National Classic. We as a board want to thank all the people that have made this great show happen over the years and thru their hard work, dedication, time, and money. Whether you have been in attendance for many years or this is your first time please try to understand the history of this breeders show and the ehibitors which really make this show successful each year. Each year the embryo portion is donated embryos which are sold with the proceeds going to assist in funding the show. In the Summer Stakes sale elite animals and pregnancies are consigned by breeders and are sold at auction to the high bidder. Also. along with the sale lots, donated embryos and semen there is a fun auction. Net year the Sweepstakes will be taking on the challenge in hosting the 2019 AJSA Jr Nationals so the events will be combined for the history making event and show.
