It is hard to believe that 10 years have gone by, just think of all the genetics that have come out the Cattlemen s Choice sale and how those genetics benefited the Simmental breed. Again, this year sale will be held at the Partisover Ranch on Saturday, May 1st in Colbert, Georgia. As the spring sale season comes to a close, you sure don t miss this one. This year could be the best ever at the Cattlemen s Choice sale. First off, I personally want to give a big thanks to the faithful and long time founders of the sale Mike Wheeler and Dr. Troy Pickerel. The sale offering is strong in all categories from many elite cow families like always at the Cattlemen s Choice. This years offering is the best ever with great set of bred heifers and cow calf pairs. Strength in numbers with ability to make you the customer money. Again, the opens will be impressive with loads of potential in the purebred and SimAngus division. Georgia juniors have done well in the past ten years with their purchases and this year should be no different. If you are a Georgia junior don t over look the prospects here. Also, you have opportunity to select from the national top genetics from flushes, embryo s and pregnancies. The fall opens are ready to go to Iowa for the National Junior heifer show so come and make your selections. Don t forget the champion at the National Junior heifer was purchased out of last years sale. Congratulations to the breeder and the purchaser. Whether you were exhibiting cattle at the Simmental Breeders Sweepstakes, National Junior heifer show, Denver or the Georgia State show cattle purchased from last years event have done extremely well.
