He was born here and he will be remembered as one of the most successful and consistent sires we have used. His ability to create something extra ordinary from the ordinary even from first-calf heifers was extremely rare. We could rely on him to create the same great look from a wide variety of cows. SNAP CHAT S DAM has grown into a remarkable performer. Snap Chat was her first calf and she has gone on to raise a $16,500 full sister to her most famous son, our $54,000-valued CARD Tinder that topped the 2017 Frozen Gold Sale before being lost to injury as a yearling, and CARD Chatterbox that has grown into a heavily used sire at Martin Livestock, IN all from natural calves. Another natural daughter sells as Lot 26 and her first embryo calves sell here as Lot 5. SNAP CHAT CALVES include State Fair Champion or Reserve Steers at the Wisconsin, Illinois, and Pennsylvania State Fairs. Daughters have been state fair breed champions, sons are prized possessions around the country (they averaged $9,800 in our 2018 bull sale), and this year saw another strong round of calf sales. SNAP CHAT DAUGHTERS have averaged $6,800 over our past two sales and they are just entering production where they are being met with strong reviews. Congratulations to everyone on their successes with his calves. SNAP CHAT SEMEN has been in short supply since we started advertising him; we have never been able to catch up. We will keep some for in-herd use and, until we run out, semen will be sold twice per year: once in The Program Female Sale and once in The Frozen Gold. Thank you for your understanding, interest, and support. Lot 1 features our first female offering from our $45,000 addition of Georgina 8408 as the topselling full interest cow in the historic dispersion at Champion Hill Farms, OH. Selling your choice of two elite heifer calves by our $136,000 herd sire, Sky High both young donors in their own right. I hope this note finds you warm and rested after a long and busy fall harvest season. Whether it s cows or corn, getting your crop in, evaluated, and out the door is always a great feeling. Our 2018 edition of The Program Female Sale is filled with cattle to make your job easier and your future crops better and we congratulate our customers on their wide array of successes again this past fall. For sure, the best part of the job is seeing the cattle achieve at harvest time for others. They won t say it so I will say it for them: Jeff and Shannon are especially honored to be your seed stock resource and supplier. Good relationships and great cattle make this deal work, they know this and they value your trust, friendship, and they are working every day to make their cattle better to keep your business and push your program higher. Their efforts are obvious in this 2018 offering; it overflows with quality and opportunity. The attention to detail in this offering of cattle is impressive. You can see The Program at work in each breed division and, collectively, we are totally excited about how some of the pedigrees and individuals are working. Recent investments in herd sires and new donors have been significant, and those risks look to be on their way to being rewarded as we get a chance to see and work with the resulting offspring. We cannot wait for you to see the cattle and try them out, let us know what you think. If you like to study strong cattle and see pedigrees and stockmanship at work, then you need to come to The Program. Your trip will be rewarded with big fun and great stock that will pay you back for years. The weather can be unreliable but you can rely on a great time whether we have the doors open or closed. Central Illinois produces some of the best registered cattle in the world each year and it is home to some of the industry s best breeders and evaluators. They know about The Program and many of them shop here. You should too. Please let us know if we can assist you in anyway. Craig Reiter Program Marketing Manager / PLEASE NOTE that internet bidding is not available for this event. Please plan to attend or, if you cannot make it, give us a call and we will arrange for absentee bidding and economical delivery. Each year we send many cattle on order to others; it is one of the best services we provide. 11

Maternal brothers include our calving ease and quality leader, the recently deceased Snap Chat, and Martin Livestock s herd sire, Chatterbox.
