I have stressed easy calving, moderate birth weights, good growth and strong carcass traits. Cattle that are wild, open or lose their calves have been culled. Our emphasis has been on the cattle not on promotion & cattle should sell at attractive prices for buyers. February has been a difficult month in north Montana with cold, snow and wind.
