Solano County Fair Youth Exhibitor Agreement As a youth participant at Solano County Fair: I believe my participation in the youth program should demonstrate my ability, knowledge and skill, and my own investment of time in my project that I am exhibiting. In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Solano County Fair Horse Show at the Solano County Fairgrounds, I hereby voluntarily release the Solano County Fair Association, the County of Solano, the State of California and each agency its officers, employees, agents and elective and appointed boards, from all claims, losses, damages, including property damages, personal injury, including death, costs and other liability of every kind, nature and description, directly or indirectly arising from my participation in the Solano County Fair Horse Show. This Release has the effect of releasing, discharging, waiving, and forever relinquishing any and all actions or causes of action that I may have or have had, whether past, present or future, whether known or unknown, and whether anticipated or unanticipated by me. By signing this Release, I assume full responsibility for any and all property damage, personal injury or death suffered by me while participating in the Solano County Fair Horse Show, even if such injuries or damages are caused by the acts or omissions of others. This Release is binding upon me, my spouse, and any of my personal representative, heirs, assigns, children and any guardian ad litem for said children. I understand that if I were to file a lawsuit against any of the above named entities, or any of their officers, agents or employees as result of any personal injury or property damage suffered by me while participating in the Solano County Fair Horse Show, this Release would operate to bar the lawsuit and the lawsuit would be dismissed on the grounds that I have expressly assumed the risks of participation in the Solano County Fair Horse Show. 17 HOW TO ENTER EARLY ENTRY INCENTIVE Exhibitors who submit entry forms by June 1, 2016 will receive two complimentary passes to attend the 2016 Solano County Fair. MAILING ENTRY FORMS & FEES You may mail in your forms with the fees as soon as you have completed them. Livestock exhibitors are recommended to mail entries certified to ensure delivery. Mailed forms must be postmarked on or before July 1. No metered mail postmark will be accepted in lieu of the official postmark from the US Postal Service. Deadline Exceptions: Some classes of Floriculture and Any Other one day shows may have a different deadline than July 1. Check for specific deadlines and information in your entry department. Mail entry forms and payments to: Solano County Fair Entries Dept. 900 Fairgrounds Drive Vallejo, CA Hand submit your forms and fees by 4:00 pm on July 1 at the Entry Office located at the Fairgrounds Administration Building. EXTRA GUIDEBOOKS Additional guidebooks, brochures and entry forms are available at the Entry Office, on line at branch libraries and Senior Centers. HELPFUL TIPS Read the rules of the department and division that you are entering. Read Local and State Rules. For information or questions about filling out entry forms call: Check Schedules for entry delivery dates. Use additional forms if you have more entries per division and exceed the space on the form. Entry forms may be photocopied. At the beginning of each department is a listing of eligibility requirements, registration deadlines, delivery and pick up info. FILLING OUT YOUR ENTRY FORM Include your name, mailing address, and phone number along with other personal information. Youth exhibitors must indicate age, birth date, school, club/chapter, and the instructor s phone number. Indicate the division and class number. Write in a brief description of each entry. If there is an entry fee, write the amount in the "Entry Fee" column. Be sure to include all entry fees. Ensure that you have all appropriate signatures on your entry forms. Junior competitors must also submit a youth exhibitor agreement form. OR Submit your entries the easy way online at SCFair.com. Complete most entry forms and pay most fees online. Sorry, some of the specialty forms still have to be submitted the old fashioned way on paper.
