25 Rules & Regulations 1. This Show is held under the Rules of the all Border Specialist Clubs. Agreed at the Border Convention in Birmingham. 2. Entries close for catalogue on Friday 9th November Any entry not in the Catalogue will not be eligible for B.B.F.C.C. Trophies or Specials as per Rule. 3. Exhibits must be staged by 9.00a.m. on Saturday 17 th November 2018 when judging will commence. Stewards will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. on Friday to receive exhibits 4. All exhibits entrusted to the care of the Committee will be properly looked after and special care will be taken to the packing of the birds for the return journey but the Committee will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may happen to them on their way to or from the Show. Entries only accepted on these terms. 5. The Committee reserve the right to refuse entries without explanation 6. Exhibitors may state a price at which their exhibits may be sold but if so desired, may be marked N.F.S. on their entry form. The first claimant shall pay the entry price (cage not included). Further claims may be made for the same bird and it will then go up for auction. All money over the catalogue price will be equally divided. The Committee shall deduct 10% of the selling price AND NO EXHIBIT SHALL BE DISPOSED OF PRIVATELY 7. No bird sold will be allowed to go out of the hall before 1.00p.m. on the last day of the Show except in the Sales Classes. 8. Sales Section. The Society undertakes to sell at such price as stated on the Entry Form and will deduct 10% Commission. Entries free. Prize Cards only. All sales through the Sales Steward, 9. Lifting time for all exhibits will be 1.00 p.m. on Sunday. This Rule will be strictly adhered to. Long-distance birds will be dealt with first. 10. Any protests must be accompanied by a fee of 5 and made in writing and lodged with the Secretary before 1.00 p.m. on the Sunday. Such protests will be considered by the Committee and if not upheld the deposit will be forfeited. 11. In the event of Judges not having time to judge their allocated classes, the show managers have the authorisation to re-allocate classes. 12. Only First Class Prize winners to go forward for Specials. 13. Only half the cash specials will be paid if there are less than five exhibitors in each section. Except donated specials which will be paid in full. 14.This show is held under a GENERAL LICENCE from D.E.F.R.A.
