6 Note: It will assist sales if Gift and Sales birds could be identified, together with details of any mutation carried. Please add these details to your cage labels before sending your birds to the show. (This applies to Sales and Gift classes ONLY). All Sales birds to be booked in with the Sales Manager and all Sales to be effected by the Sales Manager, Sales will commence at 10 am to 3pm. CHECK YOUR ENTRY FORM Before posting your entry check that you have entered the CORRECT classes and that ALL nominations are marked SHOW RULES A All birds must be the bona-fide property of the Exhibitor B Exhibitors may state a selling price on their Entry Form and Sales must take place at the stated price through the Sales Manager. NO COMMISSION will be charged. All entries priced for sale will incur an entry fee of 1. Exhibits priced in the Competitive Classes will incur a total entry fee of C Entry Fees must accompany all entries D The Committee reserve the right to decide any matter not covered by these Rules. Any re-arrangement of the Judges or their duties shall be determined by a sub- committee consisting of the Show Manager and the Show Secretary E F Exhibits will receive every care and attention, but no responsibility can or will be accepted for losses or damage to Birds or Equipment either at, or to and from the Show. All birds will be watered on arrival. Exhibitors are expected to provide adequate seed for the duration of the Show Re-Classification will only be considered within the Junior section and must be prior to judging G To comply with legislation, all entries, including Sales, will be judged. 9 CANARY COLOUR BREEDERS ASSOCIATION East Anglian Zone Bio security advice for exhibitors as advised by D.E.F.R.A. (1) All Cages and carrying boxes must be cleaned and disinfected prior to and after the show. (2) All Litter manure and seed within the cages must be disposed of in a manner which does not present a risk of the spread of any disease. (3) All seed swept from the floor must be disposed of in a similar manner. (4) Buyers must isolate the purchased birds from any other birds for at least 1 week. (5) Any sign of ill health observed in any purchased birds during this 1 week period must be reported to a veterinary surgeon and such birds must not be mixed with any other birds until any avian notifiable disease has been ruled out. (6) Please read NOTICES on PROTECTING YOUR BIRDS displayed at this show. (7) The Show must not be attended by birds brought into the UK from any other EU Member State (excluding the Republic of Ireland) in the previous four weeks. There is an EU wide ban on the import of live birds from third world countries already in Place. CANARY COLOUR BREEDERS ASSOCIATION East Anglia Zone Bird Sales Bird Sales are to be conducted through the sales section only. Sale of birds in the car park is strictly forbidden Name Address and phone number of both seller and buyer will be taken and kept by the show secretary for three months and then will be destroyed. Collection of pre- ordered birds must also be conducted through the show secretary in the above manner WRITTEN CONTINGENCIES IN THE EVENT OF A NOTIFIABLE DISEASE INCIDENT (1) The show will be cancelled in the event of a disease outbreak at or near to the show venue. (2) All exhibitors will be notified of the cancellation before the event date. (time permitting) (3) A notice will be placed on the show venue doors to this effect. (4) In the event of a notification during the show that a disease outbreak is within the vicinity all sales transactions will be cancelled. (5) In the event of a disease outbreak at the show all sales will be cancelled and the veterinary will be notified no birds to leave the show hall until clearance is given by the nominated veterinary.
