There are 2 local cafés/restaurants: - Café, Tesco Bar Hill Extra, Viking Way, Bar Hill, CB23 8EL 09:30 to 16:00 The Fox, Gladeside, Bar Hill, Bar Hill, CB23 8DY Noon to 21:00 Please Note: By entering exhibits in this show, you must agree to abide by the biosecurity guidelines published below. BIOSECURITY Under the terms of the General Licence under which this exhibition is held, the following conditions must be complied with. All birdsales/exchanges must be recorded, this must include the name, address and phone number of both buyer and seller, also any identifying features (mutation, ring numbers) of the purchased birds. Buyers must isolate the purchased birds from all other birds (except those purchased at the same event) for at least one week. Any signs of ill health observed in the purchased birds during this period must be reported to a Veterinary Surgeon, and such birds must not be mixed with any other birds until the presence of an avail notifyable disease has been ruled out. All exhibitors/entrants must disinfect the show cages and boxes before the event, and advised that they should be cleaned and disinfected on return to the home premises before they are used to hold any other bird. All litter and manure within the cages or boxes must be contained until disposal. Any spillage outside the cages to be cleaned and disinfected immediately. All litter and manure must be disposed of in a manner which does not present a risk of the spread of disease, e.g. in sealed bags for normal refuse collection in such a manner that other birds do not have direct access to it. Entries are FREE, but sellers should put a reserve price on the bird(s) entered, and birds will not be sold BELOW this price. Where bids HIGHER than the reserve price are received, the difference between the bid and reserve price will go to EAZFS funds. Larry MANN will manage the Silent Auction. Entries should be entered in either Class S1 or S2 as appropriate. The Silent Auction will close for bids at 3.15 pm. YOU ARE REMINDED THAT SELLING BIRDS OUTSIDE THE SHOW HALL (eg IN THE CAR PARK) IS NOT ALLOWED! NR13 J33 NOMINATE NFBA SHOW RULES JUDGING TO COMMENCE 9.30am SHARP Care will be taken of all exhibits but the club and its Officials will accept no responsibility or for any loss or damage whatsoever the cause. Only Officials and Stewards will be allowed in the show hall during judging. Only catalogued entries will be eligible for specials. All birds in Breeder classes MUST be bred by the exhibitor { B.B.E. } and must have the exhibitors current year Zebra Finch Society closed ring on one leg of the bird exhibited. A single plastic split ring on the other leg is permitted. Cages must not be removed from the show hall without the show managers permission. SMOKING is not permitted within the show hall or in its grounds. Admission to the hall for booking birds in will be from 8.00am, all birds must be ON THE staging by 9.15pm and lifting time will be at 4.00pm or at the discretion of the show manager, no cages to be lifted before this time. Any matters not covered by this schedule will be decided by the EAZFS Committee. Objections or complaints MUST be in writing to the Show Manager, with a 10 deposit which will be forfeited in the complaint is over-ruled. Complaints or objections must be lodged by no later than 3.30.pm.
