1 The Arc/Morris Adaptive Recreation Program Special Events Calendar January-February 2019 McARP P.O. Box 336 East Hanover, N.J (973) x602
2 VAN PICK-UP/DROP-OFF CHANGES The Morris County Mall (MCM) van pick-up/ drop-off has been changed. The new van pick-up/drop-off, replacing the MCM, will be the Hanover Adult Training Center (HATC) at 150 Algonquin Parkway, Whippany, NJ The new van pick-up/drop-off will be known as HATC REMINDERS: Under no circumstances are participants to be dropped off at a van stop and left without a responsible person who will be able to see them safely board the McARP vehicle. McARP staff will have the Recreation/McARP cell phone (973) with them for the duration of all scheduled activities Please only call in case of an emergency. In certain locations, there are times that the cell phone will not function due to limited cell tower coverage. Additionally, Arc/Morris staff are not permitted to use cell phones while driving agency vehicles and it may not be possible for the staff to respond if they are driving until they can pull the vehicle safely to a stop. In the event that the van is running late, we will attempt to call you at the number on file with the office or you may call the McARP cell phone number (973) Please be sure we have your most current contact number and address (preferably cell phone number).
3 McARP is Introducing a New Fee Structure Beginning in 2019, we are pleased to announce that participants in McARP will have the opportunity to pay for part of their services through DDD s new Fee for Service (FFS) option. McARP participants will also still have an option to pay privately. In this calendar, you will notice that these two forms of payment are listed as follows: Fee for Service option the number of *Units are listed for each activity. The cost of tickets, meals, entrance fees, etc. will be charged separately, with the same billing process that currently exists. Private Pay option Lists the full cost of the activity, with the same billing process that currently exists. You will note the charge for FFS is less since all costs other than tickets, meals and entrance fees are not covered. If you have questions about the new fee structure, please contact Marisa Del Sordi at x 602.
