3 Noah gave away candy to his friends. He had 45 pieces of candy and ate nine pieces of the candy. He gave equal amounts of candy to six friends. How much candy did they get? Mason has $20. He bought six packs of baseball cards for $3 each. How much money does he have left? 5 Ava had a dog walking business. She earned three times as much on Saturday as she did on Friday. She made $9 on Friday. How much more did she earn on Saturday than Friday? 7 6 Jacob lives on a farm. He has eight horses and twice as many cows as horses. How much older is Jack s father than Jack? Isabella picked eight bunches of grapes. Each bunch had 11 grapes. She ate 18 grapes as a snack and saved the rest for later. How many grapes did she save?
5 Mia has six boxes of markers. Each box contains 12 markers. She drew a picture and discovered that 9 of her markers had dried out. How many markers did she have left? Aiden bought three packs of gum with 6 sticks of gum in each pack. Ella bought 5 packs of gum with eight sticks of gum in each pack. How much more gum did Ella buy than Aiden? The bookstore had eight rows of children s books. There were 12 books on each row. Later that day, the store sold 19 books. How many books were left? Emily has a rock collection. She has seven boxes of rocks with 14 rocks in each box. She has 29 igneous rocks. How many of the rocks were NOT igneous rocks?
