2 Dear Potential Sponsor/Partner, 2015 Event Photos We hope you will join us for our third annual Triad Dog Games event. For 2016 we are expanding, yet again, to the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds, NC. Triad Dog Games is a fundraising and outreach opportunity for The Sergei Foundation, Inc., a non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization whose mission is to save companion pets lives by providing veterinary financial assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care... Because They re Family. WHAT IS TRIAD DOG GAMES? A high-energy, two-day event bringing people and their pets together in a family-friendly atmosphere. It showcases dogs running, jumping, diving, and retrieving in dog sport competitions such as agility, disc (Frisbee), dock jumping and flyball. Triad Dog Games was the first, and continues to be the exclusive competition for dock diving/jumping in the NC Piedmont Triad area featured its first national-qualifying DiscDogathon competition, and 2016 will expand to host an Ultimate Air Dogs regional-level dock jumping competition drawing competitors from PA to Florida. Competitions have been featured on ESPN and The Outdoor Channel. Events are not only a draw for competitors, but also for spectators alike. In addition to competitive events, activities such as live bands, Flyball demos, mini-training sessions, kids crafts and more will be offered. In addition to supporting The Sergei Foundation s mission and being aligned with the goodwill of the petlover community, there are many benefits for becoming a sponsor/partner, including: Projected weekend attendance: 5,000-7,000. YOUR SUPPORT EXTENDS BEYOND THE SERGEI FOUNDATION The Sergei Foundation was established in 2009 and, as a small organization, has realized the importance of working collaboratively with other animal welfare non-profit groups. We all help our communities and the animals better when we work efficiently and effectively together versus separtely. The Sergei Foundation offers complimentary adoption fair space for triad-area rescue groups or shelters for Triad Dog Games. Organizations such Forsyth County Animal Control/Shelter, Forsyth County Humane Society, Humane Society of Davie County, Ruff Love Rescue, SPCA of the Triad... and more have joined us in the past. Your sponsorship/partnership allows us not only to raise funds for our cause, but also creates an opportunity for pet adoptions. 5 ABOUT THE SERGEI FOUNDATION The Sergei Foundation, Inc. serves people and their sick and injured pets in North Carolina. It was founded in September 2009 and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Sergei Foundation was named after the founder s Siberian Husky and was formed with the mission of saving companion pets lives by providing veterinary financial assistance to families unable to afford emergency, life-saving care. Applicants must meet income criteria and show a history of past vet care for the pet. Sassy: A service animal that was hit by a car knocking her 9-year old autistic boy to safety. Her leg was broken in several places, requiring pinning and an extrenal brace. Satch: An auto immune eye disease severly affected his eye and removal was needed. Captain Marvel: Bit by a brown recluse, the wound took hold of the bone marrow and she needed a front leg amputation. Peach: Hit by a car and was dragged under the wheels. Both back legs were badly injured, one needed amputation. Baby: A severe upper respiratory infection and heart murmur almost took her life. ICU care was needed. Vendor spaces, mentions and foot traffic exposure will be over the weekend of Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15. Traditional media will be promoted a few weeks prior to the event. All web and social media will start to be promoted at least 5-6 months prior to the event! When evaluating the value for your sponsorship, please consider the gross impressions and goodwill over this extended period. PLEASE NOTE THAT FEES PAID MAY BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE AS THE SERGEI FOUNDATION IS A 501C3 EXEMPT ORGANIZATION. The Sergei Foundation reserves the right to decline any sponsorship interest based on existing event sponsorship/industry exclusiveness agreements. However, when signed by both parties, this application will constitute an agreement between The Sergei Foundation and the listed event sponsor. This form becomes the property of The Sergei Foundation and will be held in strict confidence. Note: A separate vendor contract will be sent separately.
