We began whole herd A.I. back in 1972 and embryo transfer in 1982 in effort to accelerate quality genetics. A multi-breed operation devoted to raising eye-appealing, correct structured cattle yet emphasizing cowboy traits fertility, fleshing ability, and temperament. FSF genetics have won in our hair shows yet excelled in the slick shows. FSF is on the forefront of raising moderate framed, functional, muscled Shorthorn cattle. The chrome effect and Shorthorn plus demand has allowed us to use these bulls more extensively. We just held our 41st Annual Club Calf Sale, our most successful ever with 71 steers and heifers going in 9 states. Thanks to our family and friends for their assistance throughout the year highlights have been Payton, Kristen, Kendalyn and Alexis welcoming our first grandson, Kolton; Taylor and Kristen are planning to be married on March 21, 2015, and Bailey is in her Senior year at Purdue and planning on joining Elanco in May 2015!
