2 OPEN AND YOUTH SHOW INFORMATION 1) Rabbit entry fee: $3.50 per animal per show. $3.00 per animal per show if you enter animal in all four(4) shows. Fur entries $4.00. Cavy entry fee: $3.50 2) Entries must be postmarked/ ed by February 7, ( entries: NO ATTACHEMENTS or DOWNLOADS PLEASE). 3) Entry fees are due at time of entry. All fees must reach the appropriate show secretary prior to the show. Entry fees for entries must be mailed or paid on-line with Cavies have requested no PayPal payment please. You entry will be confirmed if you don t get a confirmation it has NOT been received. 4) Entries must contain ALL the information listed on the entry forms provided. 5) Open and Youth entries shall be made on separate forms. 6) Once accepted, all entry fees are non-refundable. 7) NO day of show entries will be accepted. 8) This is a NO comment card show. 4 SHOW RULES All shows will be governed by the latest show rules of the ARBA and filing of an entry denotes acceptance of same. 1. This is a NO comment card show. Comment cards available for your use. Ribbons for youth exhibitors will be included in paperwork folders. Open ribbons provided by special request see rabbit show secretary. 2. Each entry must have a legible, permanent marking or cavy tag in left ear. 3. Sponsoring club reserves the right to substitute or add judges. 4. Exhibitors will be responsible to get their animals to and from the judging tables. Any animals not on the table after the second call will be scratched, entry fees will not be refunded. 5. All youth exhibitors must bring their animals to the table for judging. Adults will not be allowed to bring animals entered in the youth shows to the judging table. 6. Youth may not enter their rabbit or cavy in both open and youth classes at the same show. Youth may make entries in both open and youth classes with different animals. 7. Substitutions will be allowed only in the same class, sex, variety, group and breed per ARBA rules. These changes can be made at the show table provide the change is made clearly on the judges remark card prior to the start of judging of the class. 8. No breeding of rabbits or cavies will be permitted in the showroom. 9. NO ANIMALS (other than rabbits or cavies) will be allowed in the showroom with the exception of service animals protected under the American Disabilities Act. 10. NO SMOKING and NO ALCOHOL will be allowed in the buildings. Smoking outside is permitted 25 from any doorway. 11. Sponsoring club will not be responsible for injury, possible theft or demise of any animal. Cages should be secured at all times. 12. Parents or acting guardians will be responsible for the conduct of their children. Inappropriate behavior, disrespect of animals, property or persons will result in dismissal from this show and forfeiture of all entry fees. Appropriate show locations are hard to find, please keep in mind that we may not be asked back if we do not practice good citizenship or good housekeeping skills. 13. No person, other than show officials, judges and clerks will be allowed behind the judging tables during judging. 14. This is a carrying cage show and all carriers for rabbits and cavies must have solid bottoms. The show committee requests that all carriers be placed on plastic floor covering. 15. Entries are to be postmarked and prepaid no later than February 7, No day of show entries will be taken with the exception of the specialty clubs. Please call the appropriate secretary if you have any questions. 16. Any emergency or problem not covered by these rules will be referred to the show Superintendents, their decision will be final. 17. VENDORS - By invitation ONLY or prior authorization from the show committee. Unauthorized sellers will be asked to leave. This is in consideration to those that have paid a vendor fee or have otherwise committed in advance to be supportive of our shows.
