Tucson AZ 3 Open Rabbit Shows 3 Youth Rabbit Shows 1 open cavy show 1 youth cavy show Show Room Directions: From the north (Phoenix & others), drive south on I-10, through most of the city of Tucson as you leave the city on the east edge, watch for Houghton Rd, exit, turn right on Houghton Rd. The fairgrounds are about a mile south. Turn right onto Brekke Rd, watch for the entrance on your left. Go through the entrance and look for signs to the Livestock Barn. From New Mexico and I-10 east of Tucson: exit on Houghton Rd, at the stop sign you will need to turn left and go over the freeway, continue on Houghton Rd. for about a mile. Turn right on Brekke Rd, watch for the entrance to the fairgrounds on the left. Follow the signs to the Livestock Barn.

Exhibitors must be members of the State Association or join at the time of the show in order to have their points counted. Membership fees are: Adult: $12---H/W: $20---Youth: $7---H/W plus family: $20 plus $2 per youth--- Single adult plus family: $12 plus $2 per youth. Postmarked by Thursday, May 18, by 8:00 pm, Sunday, May 20, 2018 ***Entries received after the above dates will be charged a $5.00 head entry fee. This rule will be enforced. NO EXCEPTION. Entry fees are as follows: *** $3.50 per animal per show ****Fur entries add $2.50 per animal, per show. Make checks payable to SARBA. Entry fees for entries are due before judging begins. Any individual not exhibiting after ing entries will be billed for the entire entry fee.

3 SHOW RULES 1. All shows will be governed by the latest show rules of the ARBA and the filling out of an entry denotes acceptance of same. 2. This is a carrying cage show and all carriers for rabbits and cavies must have solid bottoms. All carriers must be placed on tarps or plastic. 3. SARBA reserves the right to add or substitute judges as needed. 4. Exhibitors will be responsible to get their animals to and from the judging table in a timely manner. Any animals not on the table will be scratched from the class. Entry fees will not be refunded. 5. Each entry must have a legible, permanent marking in the left ear. 6. Substitutions will be allowed only in the same class, sex, breed, fur and variety as per ARBA rules. These changes must be made with the show secretary before 8:00 am the day of the show. The fee is $1.00 per change. All other changes will be considered a day of show entry and will cost $5.00 per entry. 7. Parents or acting guardians will be responsible for the conduct of their children. Inappropriate behavior, disrespect of animals, property or persons will result in dismissal from this show and forfeiture of all entry fees. 8. No breeding of rabbits is permitted. 9. No animals, (other than rabbits) will be allowed on the show site except for Guide and Aide Dogs. This has been an issue: please do not bring your pets. 10. No smoking and No alcohol will be allowed on the show site. 11. Only youth are allowed to bring rabbits to the judging table in the youth classes. 12. SARBA will not be responsible for injury, theft, or death of any animal. 13. No person, other than show officials, judges and clerks are allowed behind the judging tables during judging. 14. We plan to start the show at 8:00 promptly. Please be on time. 15. It is our intention to complete all three Open & Youth shows and be done by 5:00. The Show Superintendent will choose the order of breeds to be judged. This will be posted somewhere on site the day of the show. All breeders should plan to be at the show and ready to show promptly at 8:00 am. With 5 judges we hope to make it through the breeds rather quickly. Plan to help clerk or ramrod so we can keep the rabbits moving and the judges judging. That is the only way we will be able to be done at 5:00. NOTE: Bring you own chairs and/or tables if you will need them there will be no extra tables or chairs at this location. RAFFLE New and gently used donations will be greatly appreciated. Pedigreed show quality animals can be accepted. (Deemed acceptable by a SARBA official) Please bring your donations to the raffle table before 8:30. An assortment of Genny Gentry Rabbit Greeting Cards will be on sale at the raffle table. (Monies from the cards go to the youth fund.)
