2 Official Show Rules. This is an ARBA-sanctioned SINGLE youth, one-day rabbit and cavy carrying cage show. This show will be governed by the latest rules of the ARBA. Exhibitors must be not less than 5 years of age and not older than 8 years of age. Your entry indicates your acceptance of these rules. 2. All entries must include exhibitor Name, Address, Phone number, address, and Ear Number, Breed, Sex, Class, Show Classification for each rabbit/cavy. Incomplete entries will not be accepted. 3. There will be a $35 fee charged for any returned checks. Checks should be payable to Sequoia 4-H Club. 4. No day of show entries. No changes day of show except ear number changes, which must be same breed, sex, class, variety. No changes without authorization from the show secretary. 5. The show committee reserves the right to reject any entry and to dismiss anyone for any reason from the show. Any person exhibiting disruptive behavior will be asked to leave and will forfeit all entry fees. 6. All children must be under the supervision of an adult. Please be respectful of the facility, animals, and exhibitors. Any inappropriate behavior will be grounds for dismissal from the show and forfeiture of entry fees. 7. All cages must be leak-proof. All animals must be transported in an appropriate sized carry cage. 8. All rabbits must be at least 8 weeks of age. Any unhealthy rabbit or cavy must be removed promptly from the showroom. Rabbits and cavies are the ONLY animals allowed in the show room. Legally authorized service animals are excluded from this rule. 9. Showroom will open at 7:30 AM. Judging will begin promptly at 8:30 AM. 0. All rabbits must be permanently and legibly marked in the left ear. All cavies must be tagged in the left ear.. All animals are entered at the owner s risk. Every precaution will be taken to safeguard and minimize hazards, losses, and mistakes, but show personnel, judges, Sequoia 4-H Club and the YAL Center/Youth Ag Leadership Foundation of Rohnert Park are in no way responsible for death or injury to any animal or person. 2. This is a youth show. NO ADULTS BEHIND JUDGING TABLES except the Judge, Ramrods, Clerk and Superintendent! No other exceptions or the animal will be DISQUALIFIED! If a child requires assistance to put rabbits/cavies in the show coop or remove from the show coop please ask assistance from the clerk, superintendent or a youth exhibitor. If a child cannot be in attendance, they are permitted to allow another YOUTH exhibitor to get their animals to and from the table. Thank you for supporting our youth! 3. Youth exhibitors are responsible for getting their animals to and from the judging tables promptly. There will be no recalling of classes for missed animals. 4. Breeders Classes will follow judging of Best in Show for rabbits. 5. All entry fees, including entry fees, must be paid in full before judging starts. There will be no refund of exhibitor fees. Should you enter and not attend you will be billed for your entry fees. Your mail or entry is a contract between you and Rabbits & Cavies & Youth, Oh My!/Sequoia 4-H Club and fees are payable regardless of attendance. Checks should be payable to Sequoia 4-H Club. 6. Please be courteous and make room for all exhibitors. Set-up in designated areas leaving room for walkways between rows and in front of judging tables. Room for rabbits/cavies takes precedence over tables, chairs, etc. in the showroom. You may be asked to remove chairs, tables and other items depending upon available space. 7. All legs will be mailed; all awards must be picked up the day of the show at the awards table. 8. Any issue arising that cannot be resolved by reference to the above rules shall be decided by the official show committee whose decision will be final. The exhibitor is responsible for making sure changes are made to judging cards and control sheets. No other changes allowed unless an error is made by the Show Secretary. 3. No day of show entries. No exceptions. All entries will be confirmed as received by (provided a legible address is provided). 4. One exhibitor per entry form or please. If you need additional forms you may copy the entry form or use a blank 8.5 sheet of paper. BE SURE YOUR INFORMATION IS LEGIBLE. 5. All bank returned checks will be assessed a $35 return check fee. 6. If you are entering via you must include the following information in your Exhibitor name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number including area code and address. NO ATTACHMENTS send entries in plain text in the body of the . Identify for each animal entered ear tattoo/number, breed, show classification/variety, sex and class of rabbit or cavy (junior, intermediate, senior). Remember to enter Showmanship and Breed Identification! NOTE: All lop breeds show as either solid or broken, not by registration variety. Small rabbit breeds do not have intermediate classes. 7. Enter your rabbit or cavy as listed in the ARBA Standard of Perfection by the SHOW CLASSIFICATION, NOT the registration classification. If you are not sure how to enter please look it up in the Standard or ask your project leader, advisor or another breeder. 8. All entries (mailed or ed) will have receipt confirmed by Tuesday-March 27 at midnight provided a legible address is provided. Confirmations will NOT include details of your entry. Changes to entries due to show secretary error can be made if identified at check-in ONLY. Please verify entry information on Check-In Sheets when checking in. Corrections not requested at check-in cannot be corrected regardless of who made the error. 9. If you are entering via you are responsible for your entry fee whether you attend the show or not. Entries that do not present pedigree are not acceptable and will not be judged as part of the class. No refund of fees will be made.
