2 PawPrints Magazine's Homeless cover Model My first Christmas is fast approaching and I have a great gift for my new family: a lifetime of love! I m expecting to receive that gift in return, too. My name is Danni and I m an adorable Beagle puppy girl, just 3-months-old. I m super-smart, I love to play fetch and I love to chase balls. At the photo shoot, I ran around the yard with a pine cone in my mouth that was just about as big as me! I do love to snuggle, though, and will be right up under your armpit when it s time for us to take a nap. I love other dogs and I really must insist upon having another one to play with in my new home. (There are three other Beagles in my foster home: I cuddle with the oldest one and play with the younger ones.) I m in great health and am picking up potty-training really quickly with little to no accidents. I m likely to stay a small-sized Beagle. When I was found, it appeared I d been hit by a car. I suffered a sacroiliac luxation, hip displacement, tibia break and pelvic fracture. After 5-weeks at the vet, I was able to go to a foster home! I have a few weeks left in my external fixator (pins in my tibia) but that has not stopped me wanting to run and play! I am supposed to rest, but who wants to rest when I have a new lease on life? My vet says I will always be a special needs pup, simply because of my gait and the future aging of my body with trauma at such a young age. I am 3-years-old, weigh 11 pounds, and spayed.
