We four sisters and one brother were rescued from a cardboard box in a shed on a 100 degree day! At just 6-weeks-old, we are bottle-fed babies who adore being held, kissed and caressed. When we see a human, we come running! In the blue cup is Tara, a girl; in the yellow cup, from left to right, are Tatum, a girl, and Topaz, a girl; and in the orange cup, from left to right, are Taylor, a girl, and Teddy, a boy! 3 I m a gorgeous gray boy looking for love. I got the name Curly Amos because of how the end of my tail curls. When examined, they think it possibly happened when I was born. 5 What Makes Our Dogs Special Monty s Home dogs are pulled from a local shelter after a battery of temperament testing. They spend the next 8 weeks in the Pawsitive Partners Prison Program, living in the prison and trained by our inmate trainers under the supervision of our volunteers. On graduation, these dogs have been crate trained, taught to walk on a leash, along with a variety of basic commands. In addition, our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all shots and heartworm prevention. Our adoption fee includes their crate, all equipment and food, along with an informational and training DVD, along with the invaluable support system of Monty s Home. I am a handsome, gray and white, neutered male who was born in April I was returned to Carolina Animal Protection Society (CAPS) when my family no longer wanted me. I can't explain to my foster mom what happened while I was living at my other home but I am afraid of heavy shoes and boots. I flinch and duck if someone reaches for me quickly, especially near my face. I had a difficult time transitioning to my foster home because I needed to learn that it was okay to trust someone again. The best part is that I am very food motivated so if you come with treats and good food, I will like you better and faster. 12 My name is Precious and I m a White German Shepherd and Chow mix who is looking for a foster or furever home. I am 9 to 10- years-old and have spent my entire life outside in a pen. Now that I know what it is like to live in a house and be loved on all the time, I have a hard time letting my human go. I do not know what I did for any of this to happen to me. I am a sweet and loving boy and all I want is a place to call my own. But before that can happen, I have a long road ahead of me. I need your help! My leg is still injured from the bullet wound and I cannot run and play like the other dogs in my foster home. The veterinarians say I must have surgery to repair my leg otherwise it will need to be amputated. I really want to keep my leg.
