OUTSTANDING FLOCK AWARDS: The winning flock of Suffolks will receive the Fred Coble Memorial Perpetual Trophy. The winning flock of Hampshires will receive the Paul Freitas Memorial Award. The Outstanding Dorset Flock will receive the Harlan Wagner Memorial Award. The blanket health permit number for the 2012 Nugget All-American Invitational Show and Sale is KS BEDDING SUPPLIES: All sheep are bedded on wood shavings. We suggest FEED WORLD at 315 Spokane Street, Reno, for shavings at 775/ PAGE 2 TERMS AND CONDITIONS TERMS: Cash. The auctioneer s decision is final on any disputed bids. All animals are at purchaser s risk as soon as sold. Sheep purchased on order must be paid by the individual doing the bidding or handling the order, or credit terms made with the Sale Manager one week before the sale. The Buyer Premium and ICRF fee applies to all bids. All mail bids must be paid in full within 5 days of the sale. Mail bids not paid in full within this time frame will have an additional 10% handling fee added. A 20% surcharge will be assessed to any insufficient funds check issued. Institutions may pay by requisition. Foreign buyers must pay in U.S. funds. REGISTRATION & HEALTH: All animals except those sold as Crossbred, Unregistered, Club Lambs and Project Kids are registered. All Buyer Numbers must be in the name of the person that the animal is to be transferred to. Registration papers will be transferred by the sale manager and forwarded to the new owner. All animals will be accompanied by proper health certificates. All sheep and goats must be in compliance with the Federal Scrapie Regulations to be eligible to sell. The sale veterinarian will prepare standard, interstate health papers for transportation between states, but it is the buyer s responsibility to be cognizant of and adhere to the entrance requirements of his own state. Your local or state veterinarian should be able to update you concerning the health requirements for sheep entering your state. When entry permits are required, this can often be done prior to your arrival at the sale by contacting your state office. Your local veterinarian can often help facilitate this process. Buyers from states requiring special health permits should contact their state veterinarian and have their special permit number with them. NEVADA STATE VETERINARIAN OFFICE: 775/ BUYER S RESPONSIBILITY: It is the recommendation of the sale management that prospective buyers contact their state animal health department for further information or regulation changes prior to attending the sale. SUBSTITUTIONS: Sheep and goats will be branded with their entry number as listed in the sale catalog. If a substitution is made, the animal will be branded with a bar under the number. For information on a substitution, please contact the consignor directly. SHIPPING RELEASES: You must have a shipping release. It will be issued when payment is received for the animal. A veterinarian will be on hand to issue new shipping health certificates. It is the buyer s responsibility to obtain this before release of the animal. Each consignor will also be responsible for shipping arrangements of sheep purchased by them on order. All sheep and goats must be removed from the pens by 9:00 a.m., Sunday, June 3. Sheep and goats left on the grounds and in trailers are at owner s risk. BUYERS PREMIUM: A 1% premium will be added to this sale. These funds will be used exclusively by the California Suffolk and Hampshire Sheep Breeders Association for Junior Activities. Maximum fee is $50 per buyer receipt. INFORMATION RETAINMENT COMPLIANCE FEE (IRCF): There will be an IRCF of $10 per head sold on all animals added to the buyer s settlement at this sale. This applies to all animals sold through the sale no exceptions. Banner Sale Management is required to maintain records on all animals sold through the sale ring for a minimum of five years to be in compliance with regulations as set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture, APHIS, and the Packers and Stockyards Administration. NOTICE: Neither the California Suffolk Sheep Breeders Association; the Sale Management; nor the consignors to the sale assume any risk or liability in case of any accidents of any kind or losses of any kind to any person or persons in attendance at the sale. SALE GUARANTEE Except for those stated in the below guarantee, there are no warranties, either expressed of implied, as to the merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose with respect to the sheep being sold in this sale. The warranties and guarantees set forth in the below guarantee are in lieu of all other warranties, either expressed of implied, and the remedies provided therein shall be the sole and exclusive remedy of the buyer, or any party claiming through the buyer, for any breach of warranty or guarantee therein provide, and all obligation or liabilities. 1 Every ram, buck, ewe, or doe sold will be guaranteed as a breeder if properly handled. It shall be the responsibility of the buyer to return the non-breeder to the seller in acceptable breeding condition. The seller, after a fair trial, and the animal is found to be a non-breeder, shall have the privilege of replacing the animal with one of equal value to the satisfaction of the seller, or refunding the purchase price. This guarantee shall not apply the first year to any animals that are shown subsequent to the date of the sale. All ewe lambs and doe kids are exempt from the breeding guarantee the first year. 2 Notification of non-breeder rams or bucks must be made to the seller prior to October 1st following the sale; notification of non-breeder ewes and does must be made to the seller prior to April 1st the following year. 3 Any lambs who drop their lamb s teeth prior to 12 months of age as determined by their registration paper, shall be replaced with a lamb of equal quality to the satisfaction of the buyer within a reasonable amount of time, or the consignor shall refund the purchase price of the lamb promptly with all feeds and percentages levied against such a lamb retained by the sale. It shall be the responsiblity of the buyer to notify the consignor, and then the sale manager, if such a problem occurs. Any consignor failing to comply by this rule shall automatically be barred from consigning any sheep in the following sale. 4 This guarantee shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller only, and no other parties assume any liability, legal or otherwise, expressed of implied. 5 Neither the Sale Managers nor sponsoring organizations can or will assume any responsibility as to the authenticity of the pedigrees, bloodlines, or information provided in the sale catalog, pen cards or otherwise, and the subsequent genetic performance of any animal purchased. All such information must be accepted at face value. Any statements or information given sale day supersedes cataloged information. Any special guarantees or claims offered by individual consignors is strictly between the consignor and the buyer, and will not be enforced by the Sale Managers or the sponsoring organization.

There s nothing small about him. Sire is our mammoth Cobra son who sired our Reserve Champion Ram at last year s sale. Yukon Gold sold to Ike Maxwell at this sale in 2010 for $4500. Dam is a top Great Divide daughter who puts out an impressive set of lambs every year. He is clean fronted, handsome, black around his points and has a brilliant white fleece. He moves out well and has a nice degree of athleticism to him. He is line bred as his dam is sired by D Artagnon also sired by Great Divide. Great Divide is the great old stud buck that is still breeding at 9+ years of age and has become somewhat of a legend here for his top progeny, longevity size and livability. His dam is a work horse of a brood ewe that at 8 years young is still in great shape, stays fresh on grass and goes back to some vintage bloodlines. We bred every ewe we owned to him and couldn t be happier is the best January son we have. Beautiful pattern, straight in his lines with bone and muscle.
