This MUST be presented at the door for admittance and receipt of two (2) Identification/Admission Wristbands per dog entered. Wristbands are good for each day that dog is entered. 2 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Show Premium List. The American Kennel Club will collect: a $3.00 Event Service Fee and $.50 Recording Fee where applicable for the first entry of a dog, plus a $3.00 service fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single-entry classes, in all AKC licensed and member club events. The event-giving club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all Event Service Fees for The American Kennel Club. These event service and recording fees shall be forwarded to The American Kennel Club along with all other required event results within seven (7) days of the close of the event. No Entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telegraph, and unsigned entries cannot be accepted and will be returned. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Club and/or Baray Events assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or the owner s agent. RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLETENESS OF ENTRY RESTS SOLELY WITH ENTRANT. RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. BaRay Events will add a $25.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. We will not re-process checks. The exhibitor will be contacted & required to send a money order for the original amount PLUS the $25.00 NSF fee. Subsequent returned checks from same person may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY BASIS. REFUNDS for cancellations due to judge change or cancellations made prior to entries closing will be mailed by the Club to said Exhibitor or Agent AFTER THE SHOW. An administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. There is no refund for bitches in season in Obedience. FAX ENTRIES Fax entries will be accepted up to closing time. Fee is $4.00 per dog per show. If the credit card charge is denied for any reason, an additional service charge of $20.00 will be added. FAX NUMBER: (360) This is for Fax Machine ONLY. Incomplete or illegible Fax entries are not acceptable as a valid entry in a show. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt of a legible or complete transmission (under AKC Rule Ch. 11, Sec. 4). A Fax- Friendly entry blank PDF is available for download at Entries will be acknowledged after entries close with entry acknowledgment and judging program to address on entry. Should Exhibitor NOT receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, PLEASE notify BaRay Events at (360) or dogshows@barayevents.com. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. BaRay Events will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. To find out about any AKC event cancellations call the AKC Event Cancellation Hotline Please note: Any hotel or motel listed in the premium list is subject to Event Committee Rules. We expect our exhibitors to be responsible guests. A report that an exhibitor at this show has abused hotel or motel property during this weekend may result in disciplinary action. Clubs reserve the right to decline future entries from the offending party in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11, Section 15 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows. Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendent/Show Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. Only dogs eligible for these shows will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club. All persons and animals on the Show Grounds at any time while the show is in progress, do by attending this show or participating therein, grant to the Club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent. BEST OF BREED (VARIETY) COMPETITION The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed (Variety) Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which according to their owner s records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed champions in Best of Breed (Variety) Competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. Selects, if applicable, will be chosen following Best of Breed. Non-Regular ClasSes (Involving Multiple Dog Entries) Note: As the judge s decision in these classes will be based on the merits of more than one dog, no one of the dogs making up the entry judged first in the class will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won the class. Ch. 11, Sec. 8 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows provides that a castrated male may be entered as a Stud Dog in the Stud Dog Class and a spayed bitch may be entered as a Brood Bitch in the Brood Bitch Class. Stud Dog Class: For Stud Dogs and at least two but not more than four of their Get. Stud Dog must be entered in the Stud Dog Class and must be shown in the ring with their get. The owner of the stud dog need not necessarily be owner of the get. While the merits of the stud dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the stud dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed. Get must be entered in a regular class, Best of Breed Competition, or some other Non-Regular class. Brood Bitch Class: For Brood Bitches and at least two and not more than four of their Produce. Brood Bitch must be entered in the Brood Bitch Class and must be shown in the ring with their Produce. The owner of the brood bitch need not necessarily be owner of the produce. While the merits of the brood bitch are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the brood bitch must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the Dog Show Rules, AKC policy, or the standard of the breed. Produce must be entered in a regular class, Best of Breed Competition, or some other Non-Regular class. Brace Class: Two dogs, performing in unison, and presented by a maximum of two handlers. Both dogs competing in the brace class must have at least one common owner. Dogs do not need to be entered in any other class. Dogs comprising a Brace Class must be named at the time of entry, and full particulars must be given for each dog on individual entry forms. If a dog which is to be part of a Brace is not entered in another class, it must be entered for Brace Class only. An entry form for a dog entered in another class and entered as part of a Brace must be marked accordingly in the space provided for additional classes as Brace Class. 4 AEDCA MARCH 10, 2012

Veteran Sweepstakes is open to all American Eskimo Dogs who, on the day of the show, are at least 7 years of age. Dogs/bitches entered in Sweepstakes MUST also be entered in a regular class at this show. Veteran Sweepstakes entrants need not be entered in another class. Entries must be made at the same time and on the same entry form as the regular classes, indicating in the space for Additional Classes your entry in Sweepstakes or Veteran Sweepstakes, the age division and include the fee per dog. Per the American Eskimo Dog Club of America, Inc. Sweepstakes and Veteran Sweepstakes Policy: Owners or co-owners must handle all dogs; professional handlers are expressly excluded from these events. FUTURITY Eligibility for Futurity requires that in order to compete, all American Eskimo Dogs must have gone through the nomination process. AKC Champions of Record are eligible to compete in Futurity provided that they meet all other eligibility requirements. There are no handler restrictions. Entries must be made at the same time and on the same entry form as the regular classes, indicating in the space for Additional Classes your entry in Futurity, the age division and include the fee per dog. FUTURITY CLASSIFICATION Classes are divided by age and sex as follows: Puppy Dogs (6 Mos. & under 9 Mos.) Puppy Bitches (6 Mos. & under 9 Mos.) Puppy Dogs (9 Mos. & under 12 Mos.) Puppy Bitches (9 Mos. & under 12 Mos.) Junior Dogs (12 Mos. & Older) Junior Bitches (12 Mos. & Older) DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS The nomination and entry fees for each class, divided by sex, of the Futurity will be combined into one pool and awarded based on entries for that class Prize money for each class will be divided as follows: 30% retained by Club for expenses. Remaining 70% of full entry fees for each class will be divided as follows: Best in Futurity Pool...10% First Prize, Each Class, based on the entry in that class...30% Second Prize, Each Class, based on the entry in that class...15% Third Prize, Each Class, based on the entry in that class...10% Fourth Prize, Each Class, based on the entry in that class...5% The six winners of each class will compete for Best in Futurity (BIF) and Best of Opposite Sex to Best in Futurity (BOS/BIF). The pooled contribution for BIF from each of the six classes will be split between the BIF (60% of BIF pool) and BOS/BIF (40% of BIF pool). SHOW INFORMATION The show site will be available to exhibitors 3PM to 10PM Friday, March 9, Doors are locked at 10PM. Dogs must be removed from the show site immediately following Seattle Kennel Club Best in Show judging Sunday, March 12, Each exhibitor will receive two (2) Identification/Admission Wristbands per dog entered with their acknowledgement. Wristbands are good for each day that dog is entered. To gain admittance for each day into the show building, each person MUST wear their ID or pay admission. Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS. No exercise pens will be permitted after 8AM each day except in reserved grooming area. All dogs shall be kept on leash except when in the obedience or agility ring. There shall be no drilling nor intensive or corrective training of dogs on the grounds or premises. STOOP TO SCOOP. Remember the Seattle City "Poop Scoop" Law $500 FINE for anyone seen leaving their dog's excrement on city property. Designated exercise areas will be clearly marked. 10 NATIONAL SPECIALTY PARADES Both Parades will be held at the conclusion of Best of Breed judging. Entries for the Parade of Champions and Title Holders and the Rescue and Therapy Dog Parade are handled through the Superintendent using the following method: Entries must be made on the same entry form as the regular classes, indicating in the space for Additional Classes your entry in Parade of Titleholders or R&T Parade. Online entries are accepted for the Parades. PARADE OF TITLEHOLDERS In the box for Dog Show Class, write Parade of Titleholders. If this is in addition to an entry in the regular show, put Parade of Titleholders in the Additional Class box. All information, incluidng registration number, is required for entry in Parade of Titleholders. Fee is $10.00 to cover the administrative costs and a small complimentary rosette. The Parade is open to all American Champions, Obedience Title Holders, Rally Title Holders, and Agility Title Holders. You must indicate your titles on your entry. RESCUE AND THERAPY DOG PARADE No online entries are accepted for this Parade. You must mail or fax your entry. In the box for Dog Show Class, write R&T Parade. If this is in addition to an entry in the regular show, put R&T Parade in the Additional Class box. If you have an AKC, ILP or PAL number, enter that number. If you do not, state No Number.
