5 Catalogs A limited number of catalogs will be available for purchase at the show. All persons & animals on any of the Event Grounds at any time while the events are in progress, do by attending an event or participating therein, grant the club the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their likeness & voice in any manner without further release or consent. ATTENTION EXHIBITORS Hotel Etiquette Clean up after your dog!! Your dogs must be controlled at all times. No flexi-leads are to be used in and around the hotel for the safety of your dogs and other hotel guests. The Show Committee has designated the entire hotel grounds and Field sites as the show site. An Event Committee hearing may be held for any hotel or other site complaint including but not limited to failure to clean up after your dog and destruction of hotel or other site property. Exhibitors & Handlers will be held responsible for clean conditions in and around their crate & grooming areas. No flexi-leads allowed in Show/Trial area. Exercise Areas: Please observe marked No Dogs areas around the hotel grounds. ALL Attendees are expected to clean up promptly after their dogs. Pooper Scoopers, bags and refuse cans will be provided at the Hotel and Other Sites. The Club and Hotel shall not be liable for damage to motor vehicles in any effort to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to inadequate ventilation. Annual Awards Banquet Friday, September 28 at the Linn County Fair and Expo Center featuring remarks by the judges and presentation of annual awards. Cost of the meal is $42.50, payable in the online cart or by check. Dress for the banquet is NW casual. Meals A food vendor will be available at the Linn County Expo Center for lunch on Thursday & Friday. Box lunches for the field events are $7.50 and can be pre-ordered through the specialty website. Merchandise Make sure to order your merchandise, featuring the Specialty logo, at: Educational Seminar A Glimpse at Structure in Action presented by Pat Hastings Wednesday, September 26, 2012; 2:00-6:00 PM; Comfort Suites STRUCTURE IN ACTION is a new workshop. It combines Pat Hastings Puppy Puzzle Presentation, as well as Hastings discussion of the value of structurally evaluating adult dogs that are being considered for a breeding program, working trials or performance competition. Visit for more information about our activities NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. BaRay Events will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. We expect our exhibitors to be responsible guests. A report that an exhibitor at this show has abused hotel or motel property during this weekend may result in disciplinary action. Clubs reserve the right to decline future entries from the offending party in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 11, Section 15 of the Rules Applying to Dog Shows. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. ALL RIGHTS TO TELEVISE, VIDEOTAPE, ADVERTISE, PHOTOGRAPH, PROMOTE or otherwise exploit this event are vested in the Club, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights have been made in writing by the Club.
