The pros will assist you! Please note that the show plants will be exhibited to the public on Saturday, April 17, from 10 AM 4 PM. Plants entered in the show must be left on display until 4 PM on Saturday. Plants will be judged after dinner for ribbons and trophies. Member Show Plants: Members are encouraged to bring as many blooming Cymbidiums, and other blooming orchids, as they can to our show. One of the primary measures of success for a public show is having lots of plants with lots of pretty flowers and, of course, lots of award ribbons on these plants! Even if you don't feel a particular plant is blooming to its potential, we still need you to bring it in. Member Sales: Members will have the opportunity to sell their plants at the show on Saturday. Please make sure your clean, labeled, sales ready, plants are brought to the garden center between 9 AM and 10 AM on Saturday, priced in even dollar amounts. Proceeds from the sale of these plants: 80% for the hobbyist seller with 20% (which includes the sales tax) for GCCG, and 75% to the commercial seller with 25% (which also includes sales tax) to GCCG. The seller MUST be present to sell his/her plants! Complete sale rules are included in this Newsletter. Master sale sheets and sales entry forms are attached to the Newsletter, will be available on Friday night at the show or may be downloaded from the GCCG website: No sales of member plants will take place on Friday, or before the show opens at 10 AM on Saturday. We cannot accept member plants for sale on Friday evening or after the show opens at 10 AM on Saturday. Volunteers are needed to help with display and dinner table set up, show plant entry, kitchen setup and final clean up.
