1 Judging Schedule Valley Hills Obedience Club AKC All Breed Agility Trial December 7-9, 2018 Camino Real Park Dean and Varsity St Ventura, Ca Welcome to the Valley Hills Obedience Club (VHOC) AKC Agility Trial. Please review the following information and contact the trial secretary, Larry Ribbeck, if you have any questions. TRIAL SITE INFO: Directions to Camino Real Park, a map of the ring locations, and the location of an Emergency Veterinarian are given on the last page. The park has quite a few trees, but it s a good idea to bring your own shade Thursday Set Up: after 3:00 pm. RV OVERNIGHT PARKING: There is NO RV overnight parking at event location. An RV parking location is the Ventura Beach RV Resort, 800 West Main St; (805) OBEDIENCE & RALLY TRIALS: If you are entered in Obedience or Rally in addition to Agility, notify the Gate Steward about a possible conflict. We'll accommodate any conflicts as necessary. The only thing VHOC requires is that you are there to run or compete with your class (in other words, if you are in Excellent agility, you have to run before the Excellent class is completed and we have a course change). We encourage exhibitors to enter all three events and are happy to deal with conflicts. A $50 CASH PRIZE will be offered to the exhibitor with the highest combined score in any regular obedience class (Rally is not included) and any Standard agility class (including Preferred) FOOD: Breakfast items will be provided for exhibitors. Lunches are provided for the workers. There are some fast food restaurants close to the park. VMO: Terry LeClair is a VMO (Volunteer Measuring Official) so measurements are applied towards a permanent height card. VOLUNTEERS: Thank you so much to all of you who volunteered. MOVE-UPS All pre-show move ups must be received by 6pm (MDT), Monday before the trial. AKC requires move-ups to be in writing. You may send an for a move-up to lribbeck91@gmail.com with your name, your dog s call name, the name & date of the trial and what class you want the dog to be moved to. If you miss the deadline, you will need to follow the day-day move-up regulations. Day-to-Day MOVE-UPS: The request for moving up must be made in writing at the trial site to the Trial Secretary not later than the day preceding the event provided the Trial Secretary receives them by the end of the trial day. Day-to-day move-ups may not be requested via the phone or by . It is permissible for an exhibitor to request a day-to-day move-up in person for the following day on a trial day of which he/she did not show their dog. The exhibitor may have someone else on-site fill out/sign the form as their representative. CHECK-IN TIMES: See schedule on following pages for check in times for each day. With self-check-in, you just need to pick up your course maps, so you may pick them up any time of the day before you run. Dogs will be measured before the first class of the day & before Open & Novice classes as necessary.

2 Please remember to clean up after your dog. All dogs must be kept on leash unless in the ring or at the warm-up jump. Please listen for any announcements about a change in the run order or walk-throughs. Dogs may be run in a different height or dog order from that which was drawn when, in the opinion of the judge(s) and/or the Event Committee, such a change will result in a desirable and reasonable time savings. If necessary, walk-throughs may be added or combined if there are conflicts. Friday First dog on the line at 11:00 am, starting with T2B. Check in starts at 10 am.
