4 Agility is an action packed, fun sport for both canines and their humans. This Trial is our Club s best fundraiser of the year but it also requires MANY, MANY volunteers to make sure it is successful. - Come join us if you can stay an hour or all day every bit of your help is appreciated. Some areas that we need help with for both days are: Bar Setters, Shoot Resetting, Run Timers, Scribes for marking Run Times, Leash Runners and a few other jobs. None of the jobs are hard!! 5 "It's time to show your support for the German Shepard Club of Wisconsin. On September 9th thru 11th, 2017, the club will be hosting our annual show/trial. This event is a great opportunity to display the experience and/or new found skills of our four-legged family members. Every year the club relies on the generosity of our members and friends within the community to fund the trophies for this event. There are nearly 50 trophies in all. You can donate any amount to a general fund; or, $10 to sponser a specific event (e.g. Confirmation - Best of Breed or Obedience - High Combined, etc.). Specific trophies are going fast so reserve yours soon. If you have questions or would like to reserve a specific trophy sponsorship please call Kim Lamoreaux (mom of Anduin and Baine) at or to Lamoreaux.Leon1@gmail.com. We will also have donation sheets/slips on the counter at the club. Just as in year's past the names of specific trophy sponsors will be listed in the printed event program. Remember to save the date and help us to make this event a great success. See you at the event." 13 November 4, 2017 Cocktails, Dinner, Raffle Baskets Everyone is invited to attend the GSDCW Annual Dinner to be held at Michael s On The Lake New members, seasoned members, spouses..all are welcome. One of our few events without our canine companions, it is a great time to socialize with other member and make new friends. Please join your fellow members for an evening of shared interest and camaraderie. 13
