Instructor News We have 2 new senior instructors Linda Cekosh in obedience and Sharon Golden in puppy class. We also have 2 new associate instructors - Donna Rickert working with Mike Los and Dorothy Renier working with Mary Pluta on Tuesday Morning. 5 CHRISTMAS PARADE Saturday November 19th Our Group Will Meet At The American Heart Association, 795 N. Van Buren. Wear Your Club Jacket If You Have One and Bring An Extra Club Jacket If You Have Two. Details: Your unit should arrive at the marshalling area - North Cass St. Between E. Wells and E. Mason at 8:30 AM. Our parade marshals will put your unit in the line of march when the parade is ready to roll. You must enter the marshalling area from E. Wells. Please see the sign up sheet on the cabinet in the club. The parade steps off at 9:30 am sharp and will be televised on Channel 6. 9 BELLA'S REPORT ON DEMO AT MITCHELL MANOR HI, I'M BELLA AND 8 MONTHS OLD AND IN TRAINING WITH CAMILLE. ON WEDNESDAY OCT. 19TH I WENT TO MITCHELL MANOR WITH A WHOLE GROUP OF GERMAN SHEPHERDS &THEIR PEOPLE. I SPENT A LOT OF TIME IN MY CRATE BUT BOY DID I LEARN A LOT BY WATCHING! MOM HAD EVERYBODY HEELING & WEAVING AND DO RECALLS AT THEIR LEVEL. THEN THE MORE AD- VANCED DID D.B. WORK AND THE BOARD JUMP EXERCISE. THEN I GOT REALLY EXCITED BECAUSE I SAW MY FRIENDS USING THEIR NOSES TO RETURN WITH THE RIGHT ARTICLE AND PAYING ATTENTION TO RETRIEVE THE CORRECT GLOVE! NEXT MY MOM GOT ME OUT OF MY CRATE TO SHOW THEM THAT I'M VERY NEW AND SUCH A BEGINNER LIKE ALL THE OTHERS STARTED. THAT MADE ME FEEL BETTER! MY OLDER BROTHER SPRECHER DID A FEW TRICKS WITH LOTS OF LAUGHS! THEN WE ALL GOT TO PLAY ON THE AGILITY EQUIPMENT AND THAT WAS FUN! WE FINISHED BY GOING AROUND THE ROOM LETTING EVERYONE PET US. WE COULD TELL THAT THEY WERE HAPPY BUT SO WERE WE! ALL MY FRIENDS PEOPLE HELPED ROLL UP THE MATS, ETC. BUT A SPECIAL THANKS GOES TO JACK FOR BRING THE TEETER-TATER. PEOPLE LOVE WATCHING THAT. IT WAS A LOT TO BRING, SET UP, & BACK TO THE CARS IN THE RAIN BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. AS WE WERE LEAVING WITH THE HAND TRUCK LOADED, THERESE THE ACTIVITY CO-ORDINATOR SAID THE VISIT WAS REALLY APPRECIATED BY 50+ PEOPLE BUT WE ESPECIALLY MADE THE DAY FOR TWO WOMAN WHO DIDN'T WANT TO COME. THEY TOLD THEM "COME FOR SEVERAL MINUTES "AND THEY STAYED THE WHOLE TIME! THERESE BLEW US A KISS AS SHE HELD THE DOOR AND SAID,"GOD BLESS YOU"...AND THAT MADE OUR DAY! OOPS! I HEARD MY NAME...GOT TO TRAIN!...
