5 Minutes DFWMGRC Meeting 12/16/12, Home of Kimberly Scattergood, Dallas, Texas Call to order by President. Attendees list attached. A quorum was present. Approval of proposed members Bob & Cheri Musheno. They have the GR RJ and this is their third reading. In their absence, it was moved and seconded that they be accepted into membership of the DFWMGRC. This was approved by acclamation. Treasurer s Report. Lynda Williams gave the treasurer s report. Dick stated the club was in excellent financial shape. Agility Trial Report. April trial had income of 23,409 and expenses of for a profit of approx National Specialty Report Judges have been announced and will be posted on the website. All other aspects of the preparations are going well. A group went to Wichita Falls on the 10th to view the facilities and stated they were excellent and better than Purina Farms National Specialty Trophy Sponsors are still needed at $10/class. This will be publicized on various elists and other clubs. The 2013 Club Specialty also needs sponsors for trophies at $25 per trophy. The April Hunt test has been cancelled due to a lack of volunteers. It has been moved to 10/2014. Other events. 1/12/13 CCA w/ max 21 entries. 1/13/13 Rally/Obed. Fun match. Both at What a Great Dog in Frisco. The Awards Banquet is 1/13/13 It was moved and seconded to adjourn the meeting. Respectfully submitted, Kevin Curan for Barbara Brown DALLAS-FORT WORTH METRO GOLDEN RETRIEVER CLUB BOARD MEETING MINUTES SUNDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2012 Location: Home of Kimberly Scattergood Board Members Present: Dick Caldwell, Sherri Farmer, Kathy Felix, Shari Degan, Barbara Brown Meeting started 10 minutes before the 4:00 start time of the Holiday Party. For several months, Dick has been asking for a volunteer to chair our 2014 Club Specialty. Since no one has accepted that responsibility, Dick announced that Patti said she would do it. 6 RALLY SEMINAR This seminar will review all levels of Rally Obedience, including the rule changes which went into effect April 3, Attendees will be taught the updated/additional stations and have opportunity to run courses and receive feedback from an AKC judge about scoring.
