Thank you! Thank you! I would like to send a special Thank You to all of our volunteers, who participated in the Outreach Visit to St. Norbert College and to Betty Haevers for representing PKC at the K-9 Karnival Dog Park Fundraiser. I would also like to thank our Training Class Instructors. I am not sure that they can get enough Thanks. Many hours and much sharing of their experiences go into each session, and we need to tell our teachers how much we appreciate their efforts. Our PKC Agility Trial will be on May at Cornerstone Ice Arena. Keith Rosin is our Trial Chair, and has sent out a request for help. We will need help with moving equipment to and from Cornerstone. We will meet at the Brown County Fairgrounds on Thursday, May 28 at 6 p.m. It will go fast, if we have lots of help. We will also need help to transport the equipment back to the fairgrounds on Sunday afternoon, May 31. Your PKC Board is very busy working on ideas to promote our club, and we will be asking for your help with this. 3 A Note from the Outreach Coordinator PKC has been busy visiting! Ronda Bermke PKC Outreach Our first stop was at NWTC on April 28th for their stress out day. Thank you, Betty! It was great to be able to have PKC represented at this community canine event. And then finally on May 12 th PKC was once again invited to St. Norbert to participate in their stress reliever day from exams. The smiles and laughter was great to hear. The students are eager to finish with their exams and their year. A break to play and pet the dogs was just what they needed. 4 Spring Agility Trial Equipment Move The Spring Agility Trial is fast approaching. On Thursday, May 28 at 6:00 p.m. we will be moving agility equipment from the Brown County Fairgrounds to the Cornerstone Ice Arena. We will only be moving equipment - not the gray matting. Our new mats will be taken to Cornerstone earlier in the day. We are in need of volunteers to assist with this move. We will meet at the Brown County Fairgrounds at 6:00 p.m. In addition we will need to move the equipment back to the Brown County Fairgrounds on Sunday, May 31, after the trial is completed. We will end around 3:30 p.m. 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Please take time to volunteer to help with these moves. The time you spend helping will be counted towards your volunteer hours. Again, a HUGE thank you to Candee Brey, Wendee Draves, Bree Draves, Cheryl Sulewski and Cody Sulewski for helping with this class. I couldn t have done the class without all of you! You all keep me in line! Thanks to the evaluators for the evening, Cheryl Sulewski, Jerry Sulewski, Nancy Geneva and Rob Bermke. The crowd of Bree Draves, Wendee Draves, Candee Brey and Sam Bermke with Jazz the greeter dog did a fantastic job. Thanks also to Jerry s Grandma for the fruit and Wendee and Candee for bringing snacks! I have come to depend on this great group of people! THANK YOU!!!!!
