7 OAK GROVE TRAINING CENTER OBEDIENCE AND RALLY RUN-THRU's Friday and Saturday March 8 and 9, 2018 GENERAL INFORMATION Friday: Match will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday: Match will begin 30 minutes following presentation of High in Trial. Obedience: Rings for Novice, Open, Utility Entries: Entries for Friday's Match will be taken the day of the match, first come-first served. There will be NO pre-entries. Entries for Saturday's Match may be made on Friday. Entry Fees: $1.00 per minute; 10 minute limit per session Rules: The match will be held in fully-matted rings. Dogs must be at least 6 months old. Dog and handler teams must be ready to enter ring when called. Toys and food will be permitted in the rings. Corrections allowed in moderation (verbal, gently guiding, etc.) Bitches in season are not allowed in the building. Turn left onto Bellevue Rd and drive for approximately 3 miles. The Oak Grove sign is on the left at Bellevue Farms Rd. Turn left at the sign and take the first street to the right and you will see Oak Grove Training Center. 9 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The Show Site will be available to exhibitors at 12:00 NOON, Friday, March 8, 2019, for moving in equipment but not until the grounds committee declares the crating area is ready. Exercise Pens are not allowed in the building. Please pick up poop after exercising your dogs. Crating of Dogs is not allowed in the building overnight. The building will close immediately following the match on Friday and Saturday nights. The building will open at 7:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings. All dogs and equipment must be removed from the building immediately after the awarding of High In Trial on Sunday. GENERAL Proof of Rabies Vaccination must be furnished upon request. Tags do not constitute proof of vaccination. Dogs must not be tied to bushes, shrubs, trees or other permanent fixtures. Show Site damage reported to the Show Committee, when substantiated, will be dealt with by the Bench Show Committee. Neither the Northwest Louisiana Shetland Sheepdog Club, Inc. nor the Show Secretary nor Oak Grove Training Center will be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, or for the possession of any exhibitor, whether the result of an accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care & custody of its owner or handler during the entire time the dog is in the show building or grounds. The welfare of an exhibitor's child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control & restraint over their children on the day of the show. Babies in strollers are not allowed. CRATING Crating space is available on a first come, first served basis. No additional crating space inside the building may be saved by roping off, using empty crates, chairs or other equipment to hold space. Only crates with dogs will be allowed in the crating area. Exhibitors and Handlers will be responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates. There will be no space for un-entered dogs at this show. No puppies under the age of 6 months will be allowed in the building during show hours. Mail all entries with fees payable to NWLSSC and send to: Susan Knowles, NWLSSC Computer Secretary, 6114 Kateland Circle, Bossier City, LA ENTRIES with fees must be in the office of the Show Secretary not later than 5:00 PM, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 after which time no entries may be accepted, canceled, changed, substituted, corrected, or signed and no entry fees refunded. All changes must be received in writing prior to closing, except as provided in Chapter 11, Section 6 of the American Kennel Club Rules Applying to Dog Shows.

10 NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS (CON T) No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Entries will not be accepted without fees, complete entry form (both sides), or signatures. Entry fees will be accepted by Personal Check, Money Order, or Cashiers Check only. Canadian exhibitors must submit their entries with checks drawn on US accounts or international money orders in US funds. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a $25.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitors may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY basis. Send OVERNIGHT DELIVERY OF ENTRIES to: Susan Knowles, NWLSSC Computer Secretary, 6114 Kateland Circle, Bossier City, LA Entry Fees shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from.competition by action of the Bench Show Committee because dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry fees will be made. There is no refund of entry fee for duplicate entry. There will be a $2.00 fee charged for cancellation of entry prior to closing. PLEASE NOTE: Refund of Entry Fees for bitches that come in season after closing date by sending a veterinarians certificate to the Show Secretary. The certificate must be postmarked before opening day of the show. A Recording fee of 50 cents and $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show. These Fees are to be collected by the show giving Club and paid to the American Kennel Club. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Fees are to be collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2.) Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Show Secretary will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. The Club reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show - none will be mailed. MOVE-UPS Move-ups will be allowed at this trial per AKC Obedience Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 16. Move-ups close one half hour prior to judging each day. Request must be in writing prior to the event. It is recommended that move-up requests be sent by to the Trial Secretary prior to day of show. If an address is provided with your request, an confirmation will be sent.

I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND THE EVENT-GIVING CLUB (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED IN THIS PREMIUM LIST) AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION.
