A $3 AKC Event Service Fee per obedience class entered plus $.50 AKC recording fee per dog; or a $3 AKC recording fee per class entered for Rally will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or member club show, obedience trial, rally trial, or tracking test. Notice: club may cancel this event in extreme weather conditions. Day-to-Day Moveups WILL be accepted, and must be submitted to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial 2 ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event the dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. NO ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes, or any other cause beyond the control of the management. OWNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE for errors in making out the entry forms, whoever may make such errors and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. NO ENTRY SHALL BE MADE and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. THE TRIAL GIVING CLUB, THE TRIAL SECRETARY, their agents and employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handler, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children not under the control of their parents or guardians. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENTRIES and a judging program will be made as soon as possible after entries close. Should such an acknowledgement not be received within a reasonable time, please notify the Trial Secretary. BITCHES WHO COME IN SEASON after the closing date may have their entry fees refunded less $6.00 per class entered upon written certification by a veterinarian. Notification must be made to the Trial Secretary no later than 8:00 am the day of the Trial. WHEN THE SAME DOG IS ENTERED in more than one class, only the highest score will be used for the top awards in Trial and top awards of a breed. ALL AWARDS MUST BE CLAIMED at the trial or they become the property of the Parkersburg Obedience Training Club Inc. None will be mailed. ALL DOGS PRESENT MUST BE HELD ON LEASH or confined to their crates except when being judged. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED FOR FURTHER JUDGING will be excused. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. They will adhere as closely as possible to the judging schedule. The owner or handler of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when its class is to be judged. NO SMOKING in the building. ALL HANDLERS MUST clean up after their own dogs. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed competition: Dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs which, according to their owners records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whose championships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship. 3. (Event Class) Consult the classification in the premium list. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a trial closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner, it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any trial for which entries closed after the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his/her name.
