Please choose one option: Burger with cheese, Fresh ground beef, cheese and potato bun Mediterranean Pesto Chicken Oven roasted chicken, peppers, tomato, Swiss garlic aioli and ciabatta Roasted Vegetable Spinach, artichoke hearts, bell peppers, portabella mushrooms, herbed goat cheese All sandwiches include both fries and house-made chips. Drinks included with your meal are soft drinks, sparkling water (no flavors), coffee or tea. There is also a no-host bar with beer and cocktails. Cost: $20.00 includes your sandwich meal, a drink, tax and tip Becky is a CCRP, a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, Specializing in non-invasive techniques to help improve the quality of life for dogs. 2 There were no stories submitted for Every Dog Has A Story this month. If your dog has a birthday in February, perhaps you will submit a story with a picture for next month. We would love to honor all of our dogs eventually with their special story. One more step to complete our Gifts From The Heart donation. Your part! As part of our Club philanthropy mission, each year the Monterey Bay Dog Training Club holds a fundraiser in October with the money raised going to Gifts from the Heart Program. Over the past 12 years in conjunction with a Volunteer Photographer we have provided a location at the Santa Cruz County Fair Grounds before and during our Tuesday classes to set up a backdrop to photograph dogs and their Owner/Family with a Holiday/Christmas theme. This year was our second year with Reg Shaffer of Dog Gone Digital as our Photographer. Many of you know Reg and his wife Rachel and their family of Shelties as the Photographer of various Trials during the year. The holiday photos were a lot of fun and thanks to all of you, raised a good sum of money for our donation. Coming up in February, on Valentine s Day, we donate the money raised to one of our local veterinary offices on behalf of someone whose pet might otherwise not receive treatment. Last year we donated funds toward helping a recently adopted puppy with parvo, and the year before helped pay for medications for two elderly dogs and a cat. He have also donated money to two emergency vet hospitals as a pay it forward opportunity. We asked them to apply our donations to the next emergency that walked through the door. We are now asking members to check with their veterinarians for potential recipients. At the February Board Meeting the board will choose the recipient. Gifts from the Heart is a club project that long time member, Marilyn Runyan started many years ago. We will continue to support this project in Marilyn s memory. Monterey Bay Dog Training Club, Inc.
